TF2 is a classic game from 2007 with a pretty dedicated following, it's pretty much credited with starting the 'character shooter' genre leading to games like Overwatch coming out much later. the game was also one of the first to really go hard on skins and cosmetics with new ones still being added to this day totalling to literally 100s for each character. The developers themselves once joked that the game was a 'War-Themed Hat Simulator' and the game is pretty much iconic in gaming for it's hats and other cosmetics, so I chose to focus on that for the chorus to tie together the characters' individual verses. :)
so did he do the little dynamic visual edits on the lyrics or was that on you? just wondering cause that little(prolly not so little in effort n time to work on) bit just brings it even more life.

@@TheStupendium the lyrical interaction for sniper's opening i enjoy a lot. the 3d is very smooth and all the little actions that go in time with the beats (like the costume changes, the snipers shots and engineer's clanging) were really fun. that ending scene though, gotta wonder how many costumes you have. always seem to have that just fits so well with whatever you are doin.
right? torbjorn uses his turret as more of an "assistant" still killing but he is much of a battle engie engi has more buildings, and uses his turret as a primary. he even has weapons that make it better! (that, and the whole thing with more buildings) ps: did i mention engie has more buildings? pps: there is a subclass of engie that MIGHT be close to torb, but battle engie still has differences, and im only talking about the gunslinger sub-sub class

Originally Torbjörn worked much like the standard "defense/area denial" TF2 Engineer, with a level 3 sentry as Ultimate (except unlike the Engineer he didn't built teleporters & dispensers, but instead threw armor packs to his teammates). Meanwhile the TF2 Engineer also has more aggressive "Battle-Engi" alternate styles, depending on which alternative weapon loadouts you equip, the most famous being the Gunslinger-Engineer with a fast-erecting minisentry but costs less metal but deals less damage, different shotguns that i.e. allow him to teleport his buildings across the battlefield to his hand, or store crits available once with sentry gets destroyed, or shoot continuously without reloading as long as he keeps hitting shots (but that shotgun uses his metal reserve not ammo), a wrench that allows him to teleport betwee spawn and his teleporter exit to surprise enemies, the Wrangler device that allows him to take manual control of the sentry and do sentry-jumps with giving the sentry a shield, and more...
Sadly accurate. Tf2 fans often dislike ignorance with who came first. Personally though, I do look from a higher view of this. Overwatch fans claimed that it would kill tf2. Current score: tf2 is alive, though sadly abandoned by its owners and essentially run by its fans... Overwatch is being replaced by overwatch 2- a fundamentally better design and destined to kill it's origin. I'd say tf2 has won just by continuing to exist. Valve will never make tf3. The fact that tf2 is still played is what is impressive here.

(shrug) But still, the character is called The Medic and his weapon The Medi-Gun. I mean... why would anyone think it's an ice beam? Especially when in the preceeding scenes you _see_ the Medic healing someone. Overwatch directly copied TF2's Medi-Gun "healing beam that stays attached to teammates" concept for their healer Mercy.

Soldier is a very patriot who uses rockets. And he can jump with rockets, plus he has about 9 IQ Pyro is a fire bug and there's a debate on wither the pyro is male or female Sniper, is. Well. the amount of stuff you didn't know is Astounding. Starting off TF2 Came first with overwatch taking some notes (the characters you mentioned). Second the game is Free so there really isn't much of a barrier to play it and Finally the song was each of the playable characters saying how they play in their lines along with the names of some Cosmetics. also "its like overwatch" nah dude its the Reverse

Sadly, Valve's public TF2 servers are overrun by literal cheatbots these days, walkbots with aimbots or even lagbots that log into servers in droves to disrupt the game, due to the bot codes being dispersed on the Internet by trolls for every script kiddie to use. not to mention blatant cheaters. So it's better to find good community servers, some still exist, which have admins and in some cases run new community-created anti-bot software.

TF2 was an absolutely revolutionary game inspiring dozens of games including Overwatch. It's honestly still a fun game and is still alive which is kind of insane seeing as it came out 2007
I cannot recommend this game to you enough. My suggestion to you is to watch the Meet The Team series by Valve on these characters; you can find the whole series in one video called "Meet The Team" and the collection takes about twenty minutes to watch.

TF2 is basically overwatch, but instead of adding new characters they keep the same 9 and add new weapons instead, and each character has a wide versatility so that you can build their loadouts around your playstyle instead of building your playstyle around their loadouts.
Btw towards the end when you were talking about mei, that wasn’t an ice attack, that was just the medics healing beam like mercy. Also this game came out way before Overwatch.

Scout: Runs Fast and shoots with a shotgun or brains you with a baseball bat. Demoman: Has two projectile based primaries both of whom shoots one form of grenade or another. Heavy Weapons Guy: Rolls with a mini gun and shreds at direct combat. Slowest character on the roster this man tanks. Soldier: most popular character to play as this insane maniac runs around with a rocket launcher that he uses to fly through the air like fucking Superman to shoot, explode, or whack his enemies with a fucking shovel. Sniper: One Shotting infinite ranger instant kill class. Can 1 shot any character on the field with a charged headshot and can two shot everything else. Engineer: Torbjorn but better. Seriously the fat dwarf is a shit tier wannabe compared to The Engie. The Spy: Invisible Assassin, sneaks up to enemies and one shots them with a melee backstab, or sabotages Engie builds with a sapper, has a list of revolvers hardly anyone ever uses. Pyro: essentially Mei except with fire. The Pyro is a harassing asshole who stomps anyone stupid enough to get in range of his flamethrower and can reflect projectile based weaponry back at opponents. Medic: the quintessential healer class. Gameplay wise is similar to Mercy. However unlike that shot tier Angel wannabe, the Medic actually does work and doesn’t have a get out of jail free button. You get yourself into some shit, hope your enemies have shit aim or get good at dodging and surfing. The Medic’a main roll is to keep friendly in the fight and shatter gridlocks with his Ubercharge abilities which in most forms makes him and a chosen target temporarily invincible. Unlike the trash tier Angel who’s main existence is to perpetuate gridlocks and be a substandard healer with a get out of jail free button.
It's called *"Meet the Team",* for the love of god! (facepalm) And yes, just go to Valve's YT channel and look for the TF2 playlist, as the character trailers should be watched in the sequence they came out, starting with "Meet the Heavy" (from the year 2009) and ending with "Meet the Pyro" (from 2012)
You should check out his Satisfactory song, "A Matter of Factories" it's about being sent out onto a different planet to destroy it. It's really cool and has a very fast tempo, so I think you should definitely check it out!

If knew you never played tf2 before you reacted to this video, I would have recommended to you to play the game first but I guess its a bit too late for that. But nonetheless, I heavily recommend you playing the game, although with the bot crisis going on up until now, you might find some littered around. Don't let that drag you down though. As soon as you learn the concept of community servers, you'll see you'll have a ton of fun in the game.

Just pointing out that Team Fortress 2 came out before Overwatch came out. Its not "Team fortress 2 is like overwatch" Its "Overwatch is much like Team Fortress 2."
Team fortress 2 came out in 2007 and Overwatch came out in 2016.
Scout: Runs Fast and shoots with a shotgun or brains you with a baseball bat.
Demoman: Has two projectile based primaries both of whom shoots one form of grenade or another.
Heavy Weapons Guy: Rolls with a mini gun and shreds at direct combat. Slowest character on the roster this man tanks.
Soldier: most popular character to play as this insane maniac runs around with a rocket launcher that he uses to fly through the air like fucking Superman to shoot, explode, or whack his enemies with a fucking shovel.
Sniper: One Shotting infinite ranger instant kill class. Can 1 shot any character on the field with a charged headshot and can two shot everything else.
Engineer: Torbjorn but better. Seriously the fat dwarf is a shit tier wannabe compared to The Engie.
The Spy: Invisible Assassin, sneaks up to enemies and one shots them with a melee backstab, or sabotages Engie builds with a sapper, has a list of revolvers hardly anyone ever uses.
Pyro: essentially Mei except with fire. The Pyro is a harassing asshole who stomps anyone stupid enough to get in range of his flamethrower and can reflect projectile based weaponry back at opponents.
Medic: the quintessential healer class. Gameplay wise is similar to Mercy. However unlike that shot tier Angel wannabe, the Medic actually does work and doesn’t have a get out of jail free button. You get yourself into some shit, hope your enemies have shit aim or get good at dodging and surfing. The Medic’a main roll is to keep friendly in the fight and shatter gridlocks with his Ubercharge abilities which in most forms makes him and a chosen target temporarily invincible. Unlike the trash tier Angel who’s main existence is to perpetuate gridlocks and be a substandard healer with a get out of jail free button.

If knew you never played tf2 before you reacted to this video, I would have recommended to you to play the game first but I guess its a bit too late for that. But nonetheless, I heavily recommend you playing the game, although with the bot crisis going on up until now, you might find some littered around. Don't let that drag you down though. As soon as you learn the concept of community servers, you'll see you'll have a ton of fun in the game.
