Wow what a venue! You did a great equipment set up and arrangement for all the different locations. You certainly earned your pizza tonight. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed it!
You are a champion for doing this event by yourself! 👏👏👏When you said, "It actually just feels good because I'm really hot", I almost died! Love it!😅😂😂😂
I had two helpers here. I wasn’t by myself. You can see this in the text in the beginning that I mention this. 🙂 I know my limits. This was too much for one person with too many moving parts. I’m grateful for the help! …. But it still felt good. 💨😂
You amaze me with your good spirit and the passion you show as a DJ. All that high end equipment being set up on different floors, and doing everything all by yourself is just phenomenal. I rock the EKX 18s and 12s and I can only amagine the raw power of the ETX rocking the building. This is why I chose the EV line. I’m just blown away with all the EV equipment you own and your ability to execute all these events solo. I got nothing but love and mad respect for you DJ Rachel. Thank you for sharing another flawless gig log.
The ETX system is amazing. The clarity is next level. It’s my favorite speaker. I do 99% of my events alone but I had help this one. I needed it, trust! Thanks so much for your time to check this out. I means a lot. ☺️👊🏻
This is why I take the time to make these. Wanna keep people motivated and let them known there is great gear out there that lets us do great things. Thanks so much for your kindness and support. Keep on doing it! 🫡
Holy cow. You did a lot of work on this one. Great setups. This museum seems like fun. I gotta get those Everses. Tell me you had someone help you set up.
Wow, what an amazing space! I just got an Everse 8 mostly inspired by your review of it and I'm totally in love! I'm getting to use it again on Saturday, currently testing it with mics & ipad practicing. Thank you for all that you do, this looks like such an amazing celebration!
❤❤ this great video!! From beginning to end. Rachel made it entertaining as well as educational... Work smarter NOT harder😊 Thanks for risking the hair in the tornado machine 😅😅 if you have a cousin as FUN as yourself in the New York area? Please tell her Mario from 789 Quincy Street in Brooklyn is asking!! 😊
Another great video! Curious as to how you secured the RE3 BPT and mic to the ceremony book. This sounds like a great option and picks up the officiant as well as bride and groom during the vows.
I simply just clip it to the inside the book/binder and hide the wire inside. Then clip the lapel to the outside center of the book. It’s the only way I run mics now. Great for multiple readers and the Omni directional, mic picks up everyone very well.
Great job on the video but most of all Great job on the Massive wedding you just killed! 👍🏽 . I’m not familiar with Ska/Punk. Could you share the list ? Thank you for all you do for the community.
Thanks! ☺️❤️ Examples would be: Save Ferris - Come on Eileen Goldfinger- 99 Red Baloons Half Past Two- Your Way Your Time Paramore- Still into you Blink 182- All the small things Fall Out Boy Sum 41 Etc.
You are like a dj god!! Unbelievable.. great job. Quick question.. is it rare that the bluetooth did not disconnect although you were walking around with device? It was far from speaker. Never seen that before. Thank you..
Always appreciate your time to watch. 🙂 Bluetooth works great and can have impressive distances. BUT…. Big BUT…. Distance will be greatly affected by bodies and other interference. You can get hundreds of feet away in some spaces and others only get 25 feet before it drops in and out. That’s the trade off with Bluetooth. It’s very convenient but its performance can vary. I’ve always had great luck. The EVERSE has a quality Bluetooth option.
It’s sold as an accessory kit with my Danny Max booth. It’s available at…. dannymax.com/

amazing video. Phenomenal job. You're so awesome with these videos lol .. I have a question for you though. When using your big 18" EV subs, do you have help putting them in and taking them out of your vehicle? ti would hope cuz those speakers are monster heavy :) I've considered getting a pair but the weight is just too much to lift.. I'm thinking of the getting the EV ETX 15" subs as they seem to be more manageable. Again, great job with this event and the video :) ..
Hey DJ Rachel! May I ask where you got (or what tracks are inside) of the 30+ minute ceremony track you were playing in the video? Definitely heard an instrumental/acousitc version of rhythm of love but just interested
I normally select tracks live during my pre-ceremony music. However, due to the nature of this event and my need to run around like a crazy person, I didn't want to have to stand there and leave it to auto-mix. So, I created a 1-hour mix of instrumental pre-ceremony music. My couples have the opportunity to give suggestions if they want, but if they don't care what music is played during the pre-ceremony, I usually opt for popular hits in instrumental form. I like to keep it familiar but unobtrusive so people can talk and visit. Artists like Vitamin String Quartet, The Piano Guys, Daniel Jang, etc.
GREAT JOB GREAT EQUIPMENT... One humble suggestion, get yourself Vibrio, or a way to run DMX with those moving spots on a computer or IPAD...with having 4 to honestly got a little too chaotic especially on the slower songs. Those moving lights have plenty of features to get a nice variety of diferent looks out of!
Appreciate your time for watching and your comment. 🙂 Truthfully, as a one-woman show, I have zero interest in DMX or complicated lighting. I know nothing about DMX and don't have the bandwidth to get involved. I run all of this by myself so I have a lot on my plate. I bought these because they're battery-powered, so it cuts back on wire management, and they have wireless DMX with built-in programs that I can control with a tap of a remote. They are definitely capable of doing a lot more, but without the ability to use haze or any type of fog, it's not worth the effort for me to create actual programs IMO. My goal is just to create a little movement and atmosphere, nothing over the top. I have tremendous respect for those who run fully programmed shows and do DMX their lights. It's just not a priority of mine, and honestly, it's not why anybody's hiring me. I’ve definitely seen some great stuff with sound-switch and the new AI stuff!
Great job as always. My back hurts just watching this. Did you ever consider a assistant? Those subs must weigh a ton. Oh, did I hear some Episode IV cantina music at the end?
Amazing venue, but with so much stuff will be better if you bring someone to help you, I just think the process for the set up and break up your things, I wiil definity bring someone with me! my respect for you.
awesome, I've done wedding at two locations about 3 miles apart and that was a lot of set up and TEAR Down. that is the part people don't understand when you quote the cost of our services. Love your videos. Keep them coming@@DJRachelLynch
I had two assistance with me that day. 🙂 I hope that highlights how much work this actually was. Even with two people it was still that much work. Thanks for watching!
I needed help loading/unloading the truck. Assembling the main setup totems Cleaning up the different zones when they were finished (ex ceremony and cocktail) Packing up at the end of the night Everything else I needed/wanted to do. Them running between levels wouldn’t have been the help I needed here.
Rachael where is your assistant? Please please please get yourself a helper and grow your business that way. I get stressed out just watching you do these gigs solo with all your equipment. You’re the best!
Literally at 1 min and 50 seconds in the video in big white text it says “Yes, I have help today.” 🙂 The venue also had an entire staff to assist, also mentioned in the video. Regardless, I’m very hands on and always do as much as I can. It’s just how I roll.
@@DJRachelLynch it’s not about going to a venue and hoping to find out they have someone there to help you, it’s about planning and making your events less stressful and more engaging. Like I said, I think you’re awesome and running in and out of an elevator not having someone to watch over your equipment while in transit is a good way to get it stolen. I hope you continue to use an assistant and grow your business to a multi operation.
@@louprimo6062 I had TWO assistants that day. They were hired by me, they didn’t belong to the venue. Even with two people I still had that much work. I hope that highlights how difficult this wedding was. I don’t go to venues, hoping to find help. I either hire help and bring it if I need it or I know I can do it on my own. I never rely on some random good Samaritan to help me do my job. I’m always prepared and have planned ahead. I’m probably one of the most organized people you will meet. I don’t want to be a multi op. I’m not sure why you keep suggesting this. I actually work a full-time job and don’t DJ full time. Zero interest in “growing” beyond just me DJing.
