yes im positive bcos i own the ORIGINAL wira SE, im one of the 1st 1000 owners of the first batch in 2003 n its way more solid than any other wira i have ever driven before, the only true wira SE's came out in only 2003n it came with front n rear disc brakes, all black interior with red trimmings n only in MT, due to the good response of the SE n it being limited proton came out with other wira with the SE emblem n bodykits only, the rest of its special features were not available
Proton early model are same design with mitsubishi car but the quality are not same as mitsubishi because it was made in Malaysia. By the way i love proton 🇲🇾

Chronosph3re, ur model is a 2005 model its not the full se as it does not come with rear disc brakes, the full se models only came out frm 2003 - 2004, any models after 2004 did not come with rear discs, and another thing to proove if its a true se it has a serial number at the gear box console it should read xxxx / 1000 mine is. 0025 / 1000, just like the satria gti r3 each special edition has a serial number
But after watching the video, mine has a very different interior and the engine cover is different. Different rims, exhaust muffler and no spoiler (although that spoiler is pretty nice. I'm looking to get one).
Proton have collaboration with mitsubishi back in 80s. Early model proton car are same as mitsubishi mirage, lancer fiore, powered by mitsubishi engine. The different is proton made in Malaysia, not imported from japan and rebadged. This car in video are proton wira se, same as 90s mitsubishi mirage
I do not think wira bad,But by the year.Previous wira is the best use, such as 1995 or 2001.The stuff inside ... just like the engine, the window of the class. Very durable...As if you take the patch of the mirror, you know why you can not pull down?The reason lies in the self-made Malaysia...So poor thing...Previous wira, all made in Japan since.The best advise you not to buy from 2002 to 2009 years wira, because there's something very bad!
1995engine carburetor MMC or 2001engine injection mmc is best to use in the wira...Unlike the 2002 or 2009 wira engine, all VDO. Poor, it can not be changed...I still prefer the previous wira....

i have 04 saga lmst, it is a badly built car but i like it, it doesnt come with a clock, glove box but i like it for that. seats, engine and 4 tyres.
