MZ ES250/2 motorcycle with sidecar (seitenwagen) first extended ride

1973 MZ ES250/2 from East Germany - 250cc, one cylinder, two-stroke, with Superelastik sidecar. Got it running solidly enough to take it for a few miles around town with a GoPro strapped to the sidecar windshield.

What a lovely combo, it sounds like the throttle needle needs to drop one notch. It's lovely at higher revs. I hope you get on plenty of adventures on her.

Love the video. My dad had the TS 150cc and my grandad, one just like yours.. I grew up around those bikes. I love them all. How does it do with fast traffic specially with the sidecar...thank you. Make more videos
