You're not the only one to think it was confusing at first. It takes a few listens and then it'll click. That's what happened to me, and now I think it's freaking awesome!

It is a very fast and technical song. The more you listen, the more you will be able to pick out what they doing and the more awesome it will become to you! They are so tight on this it’s amazing! 😎

Absolutely the first time you hear this song it's a complete mind-F. During the writing, Akane presented the band with a few different drumming patterns. She gave them names: easy / normal / possible if I try / demonic / hell. Guess which one they chose.

Indeed I think the music is intentionally confusing and Saiki's (and Miku's) voice is the only lifeline to cling to until you give in entirely and let yourself be swept away.

Regarding Black Hole Kanami came to Akane and asked her what the highest BPM that she had drummed to. They then bumped it up a bit because Akane wanted a challenge! Also keep a close eye on Saiki's eyes!!

Lol. How ws it confusing? You mean fast? Ive never heard anyone say that. Its busy and fast sure but still catchy and clear what is being played.
And how is the singing a drummers favourite part over Akanae's amazing drumming in this track??
Maybe the audio version is cleaner, but from this live I found a bit difficult to understand the instruments parts🤷♀️... however when I listen to a song, I don't listen only to the drums 😂😂

There’s so much going on in this track on the drums... It’s confusing as a drummer when you’re trying to memorize the patterns you’re hearing! (For me at least)
I am curious as to why you have a picture of what I believe is an "ATR 42 MP Surveyor"? on your wall...Do you like aircraft?...if so why this particular one?.....Or do you have a link to such..as in a parent serves on them?..I have always loved aircraft.✈..Have many books on aircraft...mainly military.🙂
