Just finished watching him fight a guy 11 years younger than him. The guy is phenomenal for his age. I always wondered if he had the same skill set he has now as he did when he was younger he would have been on the side of more wins on his record. Many of his fights where he lost by ko was him being too reckless and relying on his power and youth. Once he got in the UFC and got a few more ko losses he came back with amazing defense, patient striking, footwork. One of my favorites to watch.

If fighters don't get more technical as they age they just get beat. If a fighter relies on their physical abilities only, when they age and the physical is fades they they lose their ability to compete.
