This is such a nice video, I rarely comment on videos but I can't stop myself when it comes to your channel. Keep posting more such useful content.

Very good video. My biggest recommendation, those paper pads fit really nicely on a full or queen size bed. Save your knees, save your back. Also, most moving companies will have mirror cartons which can accommodate most household art and mirrors. Otherwise this guy nailed it .

Very interesting comments here lol and no don't just bubble wrap pictures. That does nothing. The options are box them or blanket wrap them. Bubble wrap is best for sculptures, crystals, figurines and other delicate things like that. I've used it on painted plaster style picture frames. First it needs some acid-free paper over it then The bubblewrap is wrapped around the corners and any raised areas where it will be resting on- in the box. Nice how to video about packing pictures anyway.

I just wonder what it would be like to be so wealthy I could let someone else pack for me 😂

It would be awesome depending on who you hire. Otherwise, get rid of anything you don't need, if you are local shuttle bulky weird items, pack heavy things in little boxes, light things in big boxes. Deal with the most difficult items first and pack around them. Look for used packing materials on local online sites. For the love of god and all things holy, do not use newspaper to wrap your dishes and trinkets, etc. It's ok if you don't have hardly any of that stuff, otherwise a baby unicorn doesn't quite die, but suffers. Oh, and if you are wealthy enough to have housekeepers...please do not have them pack. You don't want them packing anymore than you want me cleaning your house. Thanks.

He is using paper pads to wrap around the art. You should be able to get it from your local moving company.

So are you charging the customer the medium box you put inside the mirror carton or just giving them a free box?

This seems perfect for a long distance move with pictures that are worth a lot of money. Do you have any recommended ways to transport pictures for local moves? Something that would be great for local hourly moves where the customer want's a quick move and isn't even interested in investing in the packing materials to keep the picture safe.

Another option would be to wrap in a thick blanket, then tape securely.

For a local move we would just pad wrap it and tape.

No one locally not even U Haul , has boxes like those... I'm going to have to be creative with the boxes I have I guess…

You can go to your local moving company and ask if they will sell you some. Sometimes they have used ones around and they might give you some for free.

Good video but always tape the seams of the boxes for maximum seal. My procedure is a little different but overall good video for beginners.

The boxes probably cost more than the pictures are worth 😀

Check the price of the box and time invested, figure out how valuable the art is.

You can in a bind reuse old boxes . Break the area that is glued and wrap the cardboard around, and tape. You will want the art or glass inside padded before you do this.

Depends on how far you’re moving. Across town you can do that. Across country it would be a lot trickier
