    I'm not sure if it was already released when this video came out, but I don't recommend buying Masters at Arms boosters for the purposes of skill training or farming SP. If you spreadsheet out the amount of SP you gain from that booster, vs. its cost (assumming Biology V), it costs about 2000 ISK per skill point of faster training you get.
    You can instead buy plex, and on the NES store buy any one of the Booster packs. I like getting the Genius Boost Cerebral accelerator. If you spreadsheet out that cost, (from ISK > PLEX > Booster cost on the NES store in PLEX), you pay about 1400 ISK/SP for your skill farm using these NES boosters over buying Master at arms off the in-game market at current ISK prices.

    I'm curious how the Sales Tax and Broker's Fee of selling 1xLSI compares to 5xSSI, depending on market skills. I have my 2 alt characters on my main account that I use for PI, blueprint research slots, and extracting SP when I can afford it and extractors/MCT are on sale.

    • @lorumerthgaming

      a great question, the short answer is: do the math and se how profitable it is!!

    • @LostInDub
      @LostInDub 2 місяці тому +2

      Sales tax & brokers fees are based on the value of the order. Ignoring the minimum limits that aren't relevant, there is no base cost for setting up the order itself. So one 1 bil order will cost the same as 5 200mil orders.
      If you're selling the injectors in smaller stacks, the mod fee to keep one of orders on top will be cheaper than if you pile them all into one stack. This is because you're not modifying the entire 1 bil in the example & getting charged on that value. You're modifying a 400 or 600 mil order & getting charged the mod fee on that.
      So if you're only producing a handful of injectors & you're not in a rush to cash out, go with the SSI.

    Use science skills. There’s 60m points available, they all use the same 2 skills, they’re nearly all x5 so can be left for ages and the skill books can be bought for peanuts in jita as they’re common loot in abyss and data sites.
    They also use the same attributes as cybernetics which you’ll need to use the implants. Only use the 2 implants you need, a full set would just be stupid as they’re not needed at all.

    I'm milking the air carreer program using one of my alt slots. The idea is to not use the skillqueue at all and siphon off the SP and ISk it makes to my main and leave any expert systems for the next alt / cycle. The first cycle is a bit harder if you don't have expert systems to bootstrap with, you either use a little of the SP from the carreer program .or take your time using the daily 10k for the minimim skills to fit modules you need for the program. After one cycle you have all the ships you need to run the air carreer and can skip doing the career agent missions to acquire them, the travelling to tradehub for fitting those ships.
    Sidenote: As a returning plyaer with over 10 year hiatus, I'm glad I did this at least once, it opened my eyes on what a barebone character can do in the cheapest ship can get the job done.

    I get that buying Omega in the NES is 40-45% off all the time, but aren't there sales that make it even better? Like, last June it was 50% off the 40-45% off price. How often are those sales?

    If you're also set up to complete the Daily Goals quickly, you can earn 30,000 skill points per day on this skill farming alt Omega account. That "set up" is basically a combat frigate, explorer frigate and a Venture stationed in HS in an NPC station that allows manufacturing. Just using this bonus skill point gain, a character can replentish 500,000 skill points in 50 days on the skills you keep extracting out of. It takes me upwards of 25 minutes per character to run this. Double manufacturing Daily Goal day is the shortest. That like takes 5 minutes for the entire account.
    Note: Oz states the Master-of-Arms Cerebral Accelerators are the worst ones to use because of cost, so use whatever else he recommends.

    • @WithmeVerissimusWhostoned
      @WithmeVerissimusWhostoned 4 місяці тому +1

      lmao, there's only 2 cerebral accelerators available... and 'master-at-arms' is the best option because of the the cost.

    • @lorumerthgaming
      @lorumerthgaming  4 місяці тому

      We all start somewhere fam. I would just play the market with the extractors at 15m skill points.
      Dont worry about extracting yet!

    • @Timithos
      @Timithos 4 місяці тому +1

      You use another Omega account with Multiple Pilot Training certificates. Not your main account. This system is for an entirely different Omega account skill farm set up. Because you have to constantly rip out skills to fill skill extractors, you can't make any skill gains. (or much of any gains depending on the min/maxing you do). And 2 billion isk is really not enough to plex your account. You have to play all of Loru's tricks to achieve a plexed Omega account at over 2.5 billion isk. As revealed by Oz, this is an 8.5 billion isk investment to get going, not to mention however many months you pay for Omega before getting this started.
