Plexing an account was hard for me in 2011, and still is in 2023. Even with 80 million+ skill points you still need to be in the right location with the right 'friends' to make a solid income not based on RNG. I watched all the "make ISK" videos but I'd say for most players this is out of reach unless you no-life the game. Love your videos though!
exactly. You can do all the math that you want, but truth is, unless you are a no lifer, it's hard to accomplish it.
@@ShinigamiAnger I think so too, that is why I now only activate Omega on my accounts if I have real money to spare.
It's worth noting for this video (randomly popped up due to the algorithm), PLEX is now around 2.15b per month, so you now need to grind 71 mil per day to break even. Honestly its really not worth it if all you do is grind to make plex, make sure you're having fun along the way, is a game after all
Incursions are 100-200m an hour, not that bad to plex still, never has been.
I plex 6 accounts kinds fine HS mining and occassional dronelands excursion or excursions. It's about diversifying your time. Daily I mine 2 belts and an ice field, then hot dronelands. Move items around the markets, make ships. I found that making a 600$ investment would mean never needing to pay for accounts again. 4 years later I was happy to make it. A complete hulk ice t2 processing crystal miner is 95$ from the ground up. Use recruit a friend on them on your main toon also. Buy a single orca and hulk. Open all indy slots on all tools, want 50 slots. Get cap building on all, buy broken cap part BPCs, load up multiple versions of the same pieces to total out the build time to less than 72 hours, pop in the orca pieces, week later 1.4 bil. Passively
I mean unless you're hard new you should be able to easily get that 75m in an hour, as others have mentioned incursions are easy high isk. Group I run with easily pulls 250 to 280 million per hour, 2 hours a week and you've more than plexed your account
So you had to multibox which is basically cheating. The game would be better if they blocked multiboxingn and banned the ones that are doing it and it would improve the economy since 1 person can't do the work of 10 which devalues the ores and suck.

The video is from April. Today, the Plex costs 1 billion more. And the price is still going up. I make a good 150-200 million a day. Still, I can hardly afford to run two accounts.
The game is slowly dying out. Not only do you have to pay more for the Plex, but the monthly fee remains high. Players who make enough money themselves can still buy the plexes, e.g. I can do that for one account, I pay for the other. But what if prices keep going up, then I won't be able to pay for any of the accounts like Plex.
A smart game maker would adjust the prices. Well... we're talking about CCP here.

You know EvE is a subscription based game? a lot of players just buy the $10/month sub and just have fun in game. I also farm my PLEX, but you can avoid the grind with the cost of a pizza or 2 packs of cigarettes.
@@alinn.4341 No shit, Sherlock! First of all, the EvE subscription costs 19.99 euros per month, but you would know that if you play EvE.
Based on this, not everyone can afford 40 euros every month. I have money in RL, and also in-game in EvE, but gankers interrupt my farm, and so I have to invest real money again, although without gankers it would be possible to get by without real money.
Why should I subscribe as one game for 40 euros per month (two accounts) when in WoW I can subscribe 25 euros for TWO months and in the game you don't need two accounts for a stable farm.
I've been playing WoW for a long time, as has EvE. But in EvE, PvP has changed, especially since you only need numbers today with ganking, instead of skill. You want to kill a target, bring as many players. You want to survive the gank? Can't because no fitting in this world will survive a gank with enough players. Even if it means that you only ever fly through the world with a gank-proof fitting.
So yes, thanks for your meaningless comment showing that you don't play EvE.
@@alinn.4341 Not everyone lives in Europe or the states. Some players still have to deal with conversions and i don't want to spend an absurd amount of money on a subscription. I farm my own plex having my fun, and the fun is slowly dying out as the PLEX price increases. It's vital for almost anything serious in the game so it's obvious that people will try to get it, but most of us aren't stupid enough to convert the € price to a lower value currency just to have fun.
Today, 500 plex worth 2.6b, way more difficult to buy omega by doing in-game activities.
It fluctuates quite a bit has it's ups and downs but the devs artificially will manipulate the price if it gets too crazy so just keep an eye out for it.
@@Distantdistress it's 2.6 billion how is that not a "Crazy price" 🤔for comparison I make around 5 mil isk/hr and I'd realistically play maybe around 4-6 hrs a day so I'd be making 30 mil per day.
It would take me a whopping 2.4 years just to get one month of omega excluding other sources of isk If I only made 5 mil isk/hr every day, but even including other sources that's still around 2 years just for one month
I might as well just buy 10 years of omega at this point instead of trying to grind this game
@@ohhkennny766 Look... If you're making 5 million per hour then it's not the game's fault, it's yours. If you do exploration, one site will yield you that amount for sure, one gas site also will, hell, project discovery will earn you like 20 million per hour. You just need to learn the game first.
@@ohhkennny766 Every day after server reset i get my gas venture and go mine gas in wormhole space. As i mine, i scan down the rest of the system and bookmark the hacking sites i find, i do that for maybe 4 gas sites and after that i come in with a hacking ship to start clearing the hacking sites. This yields me anywhere from 40 million in one hour of gameplay to 200 million with max luck. I'm pretty good at it and it makes me fast, but even a newbie should earn at least 20 million per hour doing this.

Also worth noting that if your long term playing its probably better to get time in bulk. 300 plex per month at 6 months will save you a lot of isk.
Don't worry about plexing. Worry about buying fun space ships to blow up other ships with.
Do that and you make isk for the traders, miners and indy players.

I started playing in May of 2022 and am running 2 accounts currently trying to be able to afford more plex for more accounts
logged in for the first time since last year, my corps wh structures were all destroyed, I was in alphan state flying a HIC lmao, to make it easier with scouting the sigs on d i decided to eject and scout in my pod, just to remember that alpha's can't fly HICs.
did exactly the same in my Nyx. i can tell you i was very fast to buy 1 month of omega though.

Possibly the worst video I've ever seen when it comes to plexing. If you're new to eve, for gods sake don't go mining with plex as your goal. In the absolute best* case, with boosts mining nullsec ore and using a friend with perfect refine or possibly selling compressed ore at Jita it will take you in excess of 80 hours a month to plex right now. That's 80 hours of the most unengaging activity in the game _after_ training the skills to be perfect. Even with plex at 1.5b as per the video it would be 60+ hours.
*for a venture - a mining fit t3bc/battleship/etc will all give better mining yield, but are rather unreasonable.
Instead, don't worry so much about plexing. Find something in the game that you enjoy. If mining is a part of that then fine but there are so many more avenues to explore, plenty of which may pay better as alpha while also giving your character skills - and possibly teaching you things - that you can use for other activities. Do exploration sites. Steal loot and salvage from other players wrecks or have a go creating those wrecks yourself.
for 300K for venture you can mine Kernite get three million a load you don't want to compress it cuz it's a mission requirement item as well so it's value is more valuable not compressed
you're practically risking nothing you should be able to make 50 million a day or more no problem if you ensure the ship you're only going to lose 100k
how much time per day? where do you find the kernite?
@@SN1P3R230 Low-sec, it takes 20 minutes to fill the Venture for Alphas. so 20x10=200=a little more than 3 hours

Plex of 500 is 24.99 a silver pack id 19.99 +250k SP points.. In game right now to plex is 2.6 BILLION so like 83 millon isk a day for 30 days.

If your a new player, don't waste your skillpoints training for mining, grab a heron and get into a wh for relic sites. If your careful you can make more in a couple of hours doing this than in a month with mining.
Im thinking of going back to the game (havent played in 15 years) so is that the exploration mechanic they added in? (Heron is a ship, what is WH?) Is it fairly safe for a solo player?
@@varanzmaj Not exactly safe but for the price of the ship is well worth the risk anyway, one successful trip could be worth 50+ times the cost of the ship. Probably the fastest way to gain isk as a new player. Take a look on youtube for lessons in doing wh's.

Acho graça quando me dizem que fazes x Milhões por hora mas não te incluem o tempo que perdes a saltar para o local a voltar para a base para descarregar ou seja para fazeres o valor estipulado para 1h tens de fazer conta a todos os contratempos e risco , por exemplo 50 isk a minerar tens de perder meia hora para logísticas o que representa 1.30min ou 2h de jogo para fazer 50milhoes por hora como eles dizem, sem contar com o risco de o sistema ser invadido por piratas ou inimigos e perdes a nave e o seguro so te dá uma pequena parte do valor da nave sem contar com os modos que tens de equipar que não são cobertos pelo seguro ou programa srp... sem falar em diversas outras coisas ... eu passei anos a subir skills e quando és presenteado com um encontro com um jogador de 5/10 anos de jogo não tens qualquer hipótese ... o teu poder econômico é insustentável não vais plexar a tua conta porque não estas com os skills no máximo , porque para isso precisas de investir 5 anos de subscrições ou investir pesado em injetores de pontos para evo as skills !! como podem ver este artista tem 20 anos de jogo possivelmente tem varias contas com vários alts todos ao máximo da sua especialidade e por norma gerem corporações e geram bastantes biliões de isk por mês o suficiente por vezes para plexar a conta por anos com o lucro de 2 meses ou 3 ! Então qual é o fundamento destes vídeos ?? Simples atrair mão de obra para o eve uma vez que a comunidade esta a entrar em declínio e muitos recusam se a ter de perder a sua vida e dinheiro para poderem jogar eve , uma vez que a ccp esta a nerfar o jogo de forma a obrigar todos a investirem dinheiro no jogo estão a deixar se levar pela ganancia e a unica coisa nova no jogo em 4 anos ou 5 que tenho conta só skins nem uma nave eles lançaram!!! posso dizer que andei 3 anos a aprender skills para pilotar uma orca e quando estou perto de o fazer a ccp nerfou a nave tornando uma nave de 1.8 biliões inutil que até uma nave de 80 mil era mais eficiente e o risco era mínimo no caso de ser abordado por piratas , perder 1.8bilioes podemos falar em aproximadamente 50 euros ou dolares enquanto 80mil podes fazer em 3 ou 4 horas de rating !!!Por isso se estas fascinado joga como alpha para veres o que te espera e aprenderes a logica e mecânica do jogo e para entenderes também a devoção e entrega que vais ter de dar para o jogo!
I’ve only been playing for 2 or so years and I’ve had max mining and orca within the first 3 months. And with compression you won’t be coming off grid. And moving compressed ore to market is done with blockade runners or deep space transports. If it took you 3 years to max orca then you clearly did something wrong. Training orca is faster then training a max yield hulk. The point of these videos is to show it doesn’t take years of play to plex. You just have to have a plan and stick to it.

Eu falei da minha experiencia num geral em anos eu não fui direto para ômega nem foquei uma das minhas 5 contas para pilotar orca eu comecei como negociante de mercado a comprar e vender , depois para exploração planetária ,mineração , exploração de anomalias buracos negros etc, com intervalos sem jogar só la ia por as skills a evo tudo isto solo e com uma única conta só depois de anos decidi tentar em uma boa corporação coisa que por vezes se torna difícil conciliar trabalho família e jogo e as demandas da corporação. Se eu tivesse começado a jogar eve há 20 anos a traz na altura que realmente dava isk hoje podia ter esse luxo de dizer que se faz uma conta para pilotar uma orca em 3 meses se assim for que eu duvido e levo isso com muita dificuldade de acreditar mas basta fazer uma conta nova e simular o tempo que leva através de uma build de orca tier 5 bem focada em mineração e tank porque é muito fácil perder uma orca sem uma boa cooperação para te proteger e mesmo assim as corporações preferem que uses hulk ou algo mais barato e eficaz! não vamos continuar com esta tendencia de dizer é fácil jogar eve porque não é! é fácil obter skill para pilotar x nave e dominar porque não é! nem dizer as pessoas que com uma conta num mês pagas a subscrição porque isso também não é verdade a não ser dediques muitas horas todos os dias mas mesmo muitas para jogar eve.. quando na realidade muita gente não pode dedicar esse tempo!
Meu eu joguei Eve e comprei Plex passado 1 mês de jogo! só a jogar e a fazer actividades in game!

Eu peguei 83% das skills necessárias pra fazer Abyss T4 em uma Gila em menos de um ano, nem se eu tentasse eu conseguiria levar tanto tempo assim pra pegar skills. @@JAKEL33T Was just pointing it out. It's hard to play now since I can make barely any surplus Isk. I used to make 3 Billion a month with 1.5 Billion left for me to spend on stuff while the other half go to plex but it's only 700 Million...

The thing is no new players even if they been in the game for say a little over a year has no way to make that much isk any more and CCP has made sure that new players don't stay in the game .
I can easily make that a month. Sooooo easily. Just because you can't figure it out doesn't mean it can't be done. And no, it don't mean grinding hours every day.
@@MnemonicHack Exactly, i got to that point after 6 months playing the game, there are ways, many ways to make isk in a fun way what prevents you from doing one grind all day. Its good to have that grinds if you like to do it. But you will miss the opportunitys for the big money that are out there. Go through the galaxy with opern eyes, talk to a lot of ppl and do your homework and dont be afraid if certain activities are not profitable from the first weeks you doing it. Everything needs some time to get a habit they come with the skills you need to train ingame.
@@jennybender2643 Yup. The biggest advice I can give, having played this dumb game for 10 years and not planning on stopping, is to get into a corp. Hell, get into multiple with different characters. Get to know people. They'll help new players generally, and some people have so much isk they'll help pay for your account if you're having trouble.
Of course, nobody likes a grifter or hanger-on, so it's always important to be come self-sufficient and make your own isk, but there are SO many ways.
dont bother ,players are leaving EVE , this next fan fest brings some hope that things will change but no one is holding breath , play eve if you want but do not give to CCP real money , PLEX acc with isk ,it iwll take time but it is worth
