Very good review, I have never understood why the hate on these, people saying too small fov, when they don't realize they are 100$ and not 500 or 600... They are great for a beginner.
Thanks for the review; this review made me make up my mind to purchase them. I come from Quanum V2 box goggles, so any goggles of this type were going to appear very small initially. The ones I got are ‘v1.1’, meaning that the foam has been replaced with a much thinner and softer version than the originals, and I can see the entire screen(s) perfectly. The image is small, but at the same time very clear. After a short while I was bombing around between the trees in my local park with my Awesome F100, and they actually seemed to make flying between obstacles a bit easier than the Quanums. Stray branches and leaves are easier to spot than on the larger (but less clear) screen of the Quanums, and they are a great deal more comfortable. I require 1x magnification reading glasses to drive due to advancing age, and the ability to set the focal length to this value makes the image crystal clear (I have to wear 3x readers to see the Quanum screen clearly). I still have to do a back-to-back comparison with my mate’s Skyzone V2’s, but I like the 4:3 screen as it matches all of my cameras’ outputs (no stretching of the image). I am going to add the DVR module, and then decide whether I’ll do the ‘capacitor mod’ or simply add an external diversity receiver (ua-cam.com/video/z3SO_FPKAZ0/v-deo.html). In my opinion, these are worth the money at less than 1/3 of the price of the Dominator V3’s, or less than ½ the price of the Aomway Commanders (in my country). No other goggles offer adjustable focal length lenses, which is a big deal if you need glasses to correct hyperopia.

People are saying alot of crap about this goggle but their perspective is usually coming from either 350$ aomway or 500$ fatshark and those who actually like this google would get back lash. A "GOOD" and "HONEST" reviewer must hate on this. I am wanting to pick up this but glad i have wait, usually a hype and mass production product like this have problem at the start. P.S. i can always tell from a person who get product for free and talk out of their bud and a genuinely good reviewer like you guys.

I admit, I do my share of orders from the B company, but these guys put out some really good videos and hints and tips. So when I can, I would like to support them. I hope other viewers do the same. The first time my wife looks the other way, I am gonna order from them. If I need to be a grumpy old man, I will holler at the neighbor kids to stay off my lawn..
I just received my goggles last night and had to try them out. I agree the field of view could be better. but the picture is very clear, they fit good and eye adjustments worked great. These are my first set of goggles so this is going to be a big learning curve for me. Just my thought! The velcro strap is to hold the dvr module to the battery. Thanks for the vids Chuck
Hey guys, so did I hear you say that these had a smaller field of view than the teleporter? I used to have the teleporter v4 (my 1st pair) and I couldn't really fly with them. The screen was just way to small/ off in the distance for me. I fly the drv2 and love that I can see where im going. Only other ones ive tested was the FSHD2 and the screen was almost as big in those as my drv2
Banggood sent me these for free after helping them decide a color and I chose white and what do you know they listened and made these goggles in white color thanks to me! :)
Can these be used in conjunction with with NVIDIA shield tablet, to fly Mavic Pro.. i.e. USB Cable from controller to tablet, then cable from tablet to port in goggles ??

Kinda late to this party, but I’m wondering on this second version of Eachine goggles, is the FOV bigger than the original? That has been the biggest complaint of version one is you’re basically looking at a postage stamp! Anyone?
Good video! To bad these came out later, bought the Fatshark Teleporter V5... Antennas: I got a Eachine LCD5802D. I have put on there, a Eachine Pagoda and a Eachine StingPad. This works really well! I know that the EV100 doesn't have diversity, but these antennas are cheap. Might be interesting to try them on the EV100.
Have you tested them yet. Have they fixed the grey bars and black screen. According to the manufacturer the fix requires adding hardware, not just a software fix.

Got a first batch black model. So far not too shabby but the NTSC cropping issue is still annoying. Hope Eachine can address this in firmware soon, but not holding my breath.
Sorry, but I didn't understood - what was improved in new batch of EV100? From which I read in forums, that thing must be redesigned from scratch and assembled again with proper quality control.
you are probably listing to people who have lots of experience with FPV and FPV Goggles. Remember these are not for the experts.. These are for those just starting out.
I'm aware about to which audience EV100 is intended. I'd used cheap FPV googles before. Still have Eachine EV800 and EV800D box googles. Those are right cheap thing. No dioptry correction, but that is a missing feature for a cheap googles which wasn't announced to be and I'm accept that. Announced features definitely are working. I expected same level of quality in EV100 too. But that product simply is not finished.

I bought these goggles in the first batch and I didn't mind all the small FOV and other cons, but what made me very upset was that while flying all of a sudden the screen turned white and stayed that way (not the 500ms flicker), I couldnt see anything while my drone was flying. I had to flick to angle mode but I still crashed from 50m high and destroyed my drone. I feedback to Banggood but they insisted on a video evidence, its ridiculous.
I've seen One reviewer that I really trust say the fov on these is so small it's unflyable even for beginners, and I've another reviewer that I also really trust say pretty much the opposite. So which is it... is the fov a deal-breaker or not?
I had a hard time with a 2.1 wide angle lens, but with the narrow 2.5mm on my Oxframe it wasnt bad at all. IIRC the stock wizard lens is around 2.8mm, which maybe even better for these goggles.
I love my EV100 goggles, totally flyable and easy to get used to IMHO. These are my primary goggles now and I don't see that changing any time soon. Sure Fatshark HD and Aomway goggles are better, I don't think the difference is worth the price though.
Just got mine in the last week. I’ve flown about 30 packs with these. For me they are much better than my box goggles Eachine ev800d and quanum v2s... I’m 43 and I wear glasses with bifocals. With ev100s I get a sharp clear image out of the box no diopters no reading glasses modded into the goggles just a adjust the goggles and fly!

All EV100 from GraysonHobby are the updated version, anywhere else.. there is not an easy way if you only have 1 unit, but check the foam.. if its really thick, it could be the 1st batch..

Splixer I WISH i got into the hobby with that kinda gear. A++++++. DONT GET DISCOURAGED!. You will have RX TX MOTOR, FRAME, and everything else go bad. Don't go cheap with parts when you have to repair you wizard. U WILL crash, u will spend more time at the bench than in the air. Dont let it get u down. Learn to love the bench. Learn to love soldering. Learn to love complicated pin layouts. I took 8 months off after my last crash. Now, im ballz deep, about to build a 3 inch, and not crashing at all. Simulators is what did it for me. A month on the sticks on a pc before coming back has saved me so much money. Good luck

Warning!!!! Do not get. I HAVE THE 2ND "FIXED BATCH" WITH EXTRA CAPACITOR and i cant get more then 20 feet away without BAD BREAK UP AND BLACKOUTS!!!! Even with good antennas. Also i tryed firmware updates and they do not work.

Reviewer be ware - One of the 1st reviewers called these FatShark Killers - these are NOT a $500 Goggles for $100! Also all reviews are the 1st batch. And they made updates... We stated these are NOT the 1st batch AND these are for beginners a few times... What more do you want for $100? All of our local customer who have these love em. The kids that use them really enjoy them and are very durable . There was some distortion on the 1st batch, and the 2nd batch V1.1 is MUCH better

No, it's a 5.8ghz, and your Mavic doesn't have a 5.8ghz transmition, it's by wifi. Gogoles are only for 5.8ghz

It’s small, but definitely flyable. I quickly adapt to the fov even though I’m used to fatskarks. However, you need to change the foam right away imo.

New to this. Can ev100 connect to bugs 2w. I have tried auto scan but does not find camera. Is it the drone or the goggles?
