This is Bob here. Absolutely blown away by Phil's work and his generosity! I felt like an idiot for not insuring my guitar for more but I've never had an incident shipping before. Won't make the same mistake again. Anyway, Phil absolutely nailed it here. The Epi did always seem muddy and the new pickups sound, even on UA-cam, like they make a world of difference. Can't wait to play it. Again, Phil couldn't have been kinder. What a class act!
despite the misfortune, for lack of a better word, to your original Les Paul, I'm glad it all worked out! Vids like these make me proud to be a (somewhat) musician. Enjoy.
Phil, you went above and beyond what it was expected from you and i really wanted to say thank you for being such a classy gentlemen which is pretty rare nowadays. Besides the really cool gear videos this is the reason why your channel keeps growing. Wish you all the best.

You, Graphtec and Dark Moon show some major class in an industry that can be pretty classless at times. I hope this one gets you about 2,000 more subscribers and gets those two companies some major business. Thank you for being such a class act Phil.
There are so many people that say, after all the money you spend upgrading, you could have just bought the better one from the beginning. There's a big difference. You might not have enough to buy the top model first, and if you waited until you had enough money, you might not have had anything to play for 6 months while you saved up enough. Or maybe you just like to see the reaction from the people that spent all that money and your budget guitar sounds better or just as good. Or maybe some of us just like working on our own stuff.
The other is sentimentality! I got my epi less paul for my 18th birthday, but now my other guitars honestly sound better, but none have the special spot in my heart this LP does, so I'm looking at upgrades! No gibson will ever have the story and memories this LP has with me
I just got back into playing my guitar. The UA-cam channels were so much fun because that stuff wasn't around when I learned to play. Pretty much self taught with some help from friends here and there. Phillip is a gem and I love that there are very cool and good guys doing this! I'm kinda astounded by how much great info is available. Would have loved this 50 years ago.... Learning so much now :)
Wow, what a great video!, you (and the companies that contributed" really stepped up to the plate. Great tips! I am impressed with your way of thinking.

Fantastic episode, I've loved every one. I hope Bob loves his guitar. I love the idea of donating the other guitar after it is fixed. Whoever receives it will be lucky. Wow. That was simply amazing. Massively above and beyond what one would and should expect in a contest like this.
I hope Bob really enjoys the heck out of that Les Paul. You, Graphtec and Dark Moon show some major class in an industry that can be pretty classless at times. I hope this one gets you about 2,000 more subscribers and gets those two companies some major business.
Thank you for being such a class act Phil.
Hell yes for Phil and hell yes for graph tech! Looks good on ya both!
Great video! You very knowledgeable and a gentleman. Bob must be thrilled. The world needs more Phil’s.

Very generous from Phil. Hats off to you and the companies for that.
Very cool of you. That was awesome. Huge difference in the sound. I'm going to have to check out this pick ups for one of my les Paul's :) keep up the great work!
Your decency is really impressive. I wish that more were like you.
From Everyone watching, Thank you to Graphtech for helping Phil in this great series!
Wow, man!! All I can say is that you are really honest and good person. That's what is missing these days! And excellent job as always! Cheers from Serbia, Phil!
Very awesome for you to replace his Damaged guitar. I have the Graphtech string trees on my strat & love them.
what a cool and very nice thing you did for Bob.....hope he likes his "new" sharpened Les Paul.....great job Phil.....
Not to be cheezy, but if only there were more people like you in the world Phil, it'd be a much better place.
Phantastic Phil! Very nice to give the guy a new guitar after the broken neck issue. You are a good man sir.
You Rock Phillip!! That was truly cool of you.
This is why your channel is my favorite channel. Your a good person. Cheers.
that is awesome way to go above and beyond phil
Man your content is great, but your principles and integrity are outstanding. Hats off to you sir!
Fantastic episode, I've loved every one. I hope Bob loves his guitar. I love the idea of donating the other guitar after it is fixed. Whoever receives it will be lucky. You might consider donating it to a hospital that helps people with brain injuries, music and playing instruments is excellent for recovery. It is really helping me.
One of a kind, Phil, that's you and your solution to this puzzle. Not your average "meh" approach and that makes you today's (ok, back in 2018 when you did this) King Of Guitar Magic.
Damn, I'd say that was going above and beyond! Nice work Phil.
This is exactly why we love you, Phil. Very cool, man!
Phil you are a first class gentleman
Phil you're a class act, you're so generous with your instructions and a nice guy as well.
Man Phil, you're the coolest most amazing guy! 👏👏👏
Wow Phil. You are the way things should be done!!!! Makes me almost want to move to the city your shop is in. Well done very well done. When I get a bridge for my LP custom I know where I’m going!!!
