What a fine spot. Here in North America there is almost nothing old, and any kind of commercial area like this is almost invariably trashed up with signage, ads, and eye-garbage--with very few town councils, in lucky select towns, not allowing it. I love that these vids have no commentary. Just a snapshot of an area at a point in time, filmed very nicely, at a perfect time of the day. I've not lived in, nor visited England in many years, but vids like this bring back nostalgia in spades.
That is an amazingly different looking place. The world is so different at this time of day. The streets, that last time I was there, were throbbing with people, so deserted. And of course the wonderful colours. When I see your videos taken at around this time, I often see things I have never noticed before. That's part of the joy of watching these walking videos. You can watch them more than once and enjoy seeing what you might have missed. Thanks, as usual. A real pleasure and a great aid to relaxation. I know it might be a cliché to say this but this kind of video just helps you unwind when your mind is racing from the affairs of the day.
Good morning Jago. It is definitely a stark contrast but I do think it is wonderful that you put the time & effort in to documenting these lovely places when they are busy so that everyone gets to see both sides of the coin or so to speak :) I’m really glad that you find these videos relaxing too. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing have a nice weekend. All the best. OAAW
@@OutandaboutWalking Thanks. It is a great pleasure to see these places at the times without all the people. This video was particularly interesting as the last time I was in Broadway, there was this huge street party. Funny how a place can look so unbelievably different.
Broadway is more of a small town than a village, in my opinion. Or a very big village, given the number of houses and businesses. Very diverse businesses, several of which concern Art. I noticed two sculptures of horses made with mechanical parts; original!! A showcase whose decoration is a small car, a Fiat, certainly. Very beautiful houses, old for many, and having a lot of charm. Very nice walk; thank you friend OAAW 😀😀😀😀😀
Good morning Françoise. Hope you are doing well. My apologies for a delayed reply...I have been away on holiday in the week and not long returned home. Good to hear you enjoyed this nice early morning walk in Broadway. Have a lovely weekend. Friendly thanks. OAAW
Caught a glimpse of the intrepid cameraman reflected in spotless windows. The quiet emptiness of the village streets resonates with John Wyndham-like possibilities. 😊
The template for all small Towns and villages throughout the UK. No litter on the streets, clean, tidy, enticing shop fronts all kept in the traditional design. grass, kerbs, hedges kept neatly trimmed....The question therefore to any council planners etc is to why the rest of the country has been allowed to deteriorate into the carbunkle mindset of 21st century planners? meanwhile the Cotswolds remains a visual reminder to what, if not protected, we end up loosing to modern day planners designs that don't last 40 years never mind 400...
I’ve been ruminating on why English villages are so ubiquitously clean, and USA not always. Certainly pride of place and long history figures, but so too does individual caring! I suspect that pressures on individuals to keep a village free of litter is substantial, but I do not believe the English are as predisposed to carelessness as we seem to be!
So beautiful, thank you for all of these lovely walks.❣️ anybody notice the giant pile of crap directly in front of the church , that made me chuckle. (16:01) Blessings everyone❤
Thanks for sharing, OAAW. Up with the lark... That's a fun expression. The storefront windows in Broadway are always so inviting and the buildings so charming. One thing I'm always amazed at is how clean and reflective the windows seem to be; something we don't see often here. Gorgeous.
Good morning Michael. I hope you are well. Apologies for a delayed reply...I have been away on holiday for the week & not long returned. You’ve not heard that expression before? It was good to return to Broadway after a six month hiatus, we will be returning again in another six months for a very special video walk ;. Have a great weekend. OAAW
Thank you soooooo much for posting fantastic videos.I truly felt I was back in time seeing areas and home's l knew, yet forgot about. It was so familiar, yet not. Unlike London this place was quite peaceful. Watching this walk was like a dream come true.I do not want to loose any of your video's.I just actually subscribed as well. Do have a lovely weekend. 😊
Good morning. Well done on spotting the horses. I wondered the same thing, maybe they took the window out and fork lifted it in...it certainly makes the store stand out with a car in the window. All the best to you.
I enjoy these videos; Just a suggestion because I find your footsteps distracting. Perhaps you can wear tennis shoes or trainers? Keep up the good work.
Good evening. Thank you for the feedback. I do agree with you...funny thing is tho, I do wear trainers and try to walk lightly. I record with two microphones - one in each ear, so they are a fair distance away from my feet. I think the steps sound so loud, because generally with these early morning walks there is not much other noise going on around me to camouflage the footsteps sounds. Leave it with me, I will experiment to see if I can improve it. Thanks again.
The coltswolds village is beatiful ❤ vintage city the tour was quite and peaceful stroll .Please make more videosThank You❤
Hi, Anthony. Thank you so much for all your recent support. Plenty more videos on the way :) All the best to you. OAAW
These beautiful tiny villages are simply breathtaking!!
I love this so much when you see the light shining from the Windows out into the street (11:36), it is one of the most cozy sights I know
Good evening Netti. It is lovely to hear from you. That is a beautiful description, thank you for that. Regards. OAAW

I never see any people, it's like a film set. Beautiful.

This is beautiful but does the towns and villages close down at a certain time I can’t believe I don’t see anyone outside to enjoy the beauty
تمشيه صباحيه مفعمه بالحيويه والنشاط، وريف ومباني جميله خاصة ان الشوارع خاليه والهدوء يعم المكان بعيد عن صخب المدن الحديثة ، اخبروني اين هذا المكان؟!
It is Broadway in Gloucestershire (Cotswolds) England. Thanks :)

Saw the 3 horses, one in field with car. Two in alleyway.
How did they get that car in the window?

Ma in tutto questo gli abitanti? Video girato all'alba?
