I so needed to see this today (Tuesday, 29th October, 2019). Dealing with the shame and pain of failure, particularly in the context of being an African raised in the West is daunting. Thank you, brother for persevering and failing your way to success, as it were. Wishing you and yours continued and greater joy, success, progress, love and health.

Wow amazing talk. I worked for Jason about 10 years ago when i was a student and he had a student magazine called 'Brash'. It was a total failure but he was such a nice guy and I could see his determination back then. So glad to see his success... really inspirational :)

I'm a failure, living my dreams, somehow. Thanks for the talk, although I've heard the same stuff said in slightly different ways before, I find it energising to hear these stories, to remind me that what I'm doing is right even nobody around me understands. I ignore everyone else because I couldnt stand the thought of living in the self imposed prisons of no dreams and lots of fear that most people live in.

Thank you for this great talk. I am going through what you went through and I have been quite down because of naysayers. Your talk reminded me why I took my stand to make my own way. Thank you.

Idk if anyone who ultimately wins can be a failure; there's brilliance in the story of failing, particularly when, such as this example, one fails to give up. Thank you for sharing your story!

It is time start to embracing failure in Africa, especially Nigerians as a part of life (Culture), Instead of trying to cover our failures (Packaging) like Jason mentioned. In my own term failure is like this having a destination filled with numerous path to follow without a direction, taking a risk is an essential part to succeed also as failure is too. when a person fails it is like taking one path of all the paths that means when the person takes that direction the next time he the experience to know that he has failed there before which will give him more insights about the actual path to his destination. what i would advice my fellow youth as a Nigerian try to fail to succeed never give up what you believe in. The power of Nigeria Future is in our hands even though most of us do not see it, we can see how the music industry, Nolly-wood industry is growing rapidly (Kudos to Iroko), The Internet industry is growing and become bigger and bigger lets invest in the Internet this is the power we have over our leaders to reduce unemployment at a larger percentage nice speech Jason Hope to have mine someday. lol:) www.crunchbase.com/organization/jobinpal-enterprises

In the days before satnav, giving directions to a destination that did not include a recovery guide for what you see when you overshoot the address, was not user friendly. Knowing about failure is the first part of recovery, and the second best teacher.

You are wrong on one thing. A chick has to crack its way out of the egg to come out. Smart people who believe they dont have to crack will always remain in the egg, but people who struggle break through
