i think its interesting how in Asian media who have had century's of trans/cross dressing culture will have two characters archetypes. one is just a crossdresser besides the cross dressing they are typically normal people and just live their lives. then there is the insane unhinged crossdresser, they are not really trans the cross dressing is just a symptom of something much deeper its more the unhealthy obsession with the taboo and shocking if being goth is shocking then they are that, if gay is shocking then they are gay, if its trans then they are that. this is where you get the insane villainous narcissistic queer archetype who has gone overboard.
Because they are confused. I am a trans woman who transitioned because I had severe gender dysphoria and transition was about having the right parts. These days so called trans people do it for aesthetic reasons and to have it as an identity like a costume. It iOS insulting to those of us who had dysphoria transitioned and dont anymore or have it very minimally.
@@Dinker27I’m 40 - lesbian - the disrespect to the elders is UNHINGED unlike any I’ve ever seen in other demographics/communities. And yes, I miss acceptance of the early 00s over this victimhoom mentality of the 2010s onward.
"I'm so sorry I fought for gay rights" This situation is not funny but that me dying laughing because of how true it is. I'm only 33 but I still fought for same sex marriage and anti workplace discrimination laws. What was the point of all of that? Why did we ever bother to fight?
@@MagpieAnnie73ditto - can confirm that was said way back in the 80s by a gay colleague, who also warned us about the misogynistic underbelly of the “community”.
As a Bi woman... I thought my mom was wrong to roll over and stay in an abusive relationship rather than transition which I knew she secretly wanted to do... but now I get it... I was kicked out of the LGBT community for failing to keep up with the alphabetical additions... it's not just gay rights I regret... I hate being a woman because of the whole Me Too/Feminazi movement... just everything in society today is so convoluted and out of whack... it's hard to be proud of anything and I've been mentioning for years that these labels are going to ruin society... fast forward 2 decades and lo and behold labels are destabilizing society
Point well taken.......... A red hat wearing Right winger here. But one who always tries to maintain a live and let live perspective. It’s getting harder and harder all the time. At this point, I’m not sure I really care whether the crazies are “setting y’all back decades”. Admittedly, that ain’t a good thing.
@@gizmomac1520 I'm a 64 yr old gay woman, among other things, btw, and remember sitting in on a 'Take Back the Night' meeting organizing a walk in the city in the early '80's held at the university I was attending in southern Ontario. The organizers were hell-bent to exclude men from participating. I was dumbfounded and walked out. Unfortunately and sadly, the point of it all is not new. Thanks for your perspective, Arielle. Much appreciated.
Intersex person here. I got called queer last year and I didn't like it. I am NOT queer, and I don't want my genetic condition being referred to as 'queer'. I'm just me and like to keep it that way.
I'm not intersex, but I have a friend who is and she hates being used as an "example" that sex and gender are separate and that you can be *assigned* a sex at birth. She, like you, also hates being lumped into the queer umbrella. She's not trans, she has a medical condition. She wasn't assigned anything at birth, she was born mostly female but due to a glitch in her genetic make-up she also has some characteristics that make her male. It's just so ridiculous, for a community that says "you can't speak for me! I have rights!" They're always so quick to speak over and for other people. 😑
@@tammys8711 Given my experiences with self proclaimed 'queer' folks, I have to agree with you. I think it's dumb to be jealous of an intersex condition. It's really not the best of both worlds like many of them assume.
Best reply ever. In the Netherlands we have a great intersex tv personality who is also so authentically themselves (of course intersex is biology, it isn't a vague identity). A real cool person called Raven van Dorst. Great respect for you guys
My wife is a woman who can only have a sexual relationship with one person and it has to have a emotional attachment that she can't get elsewhere. Oh yeah it's called happily married. 😊
I mean Demi sexual is just a term to descripe a person that are unabel to have sex with anyone unless they have feeling for them. They can not perform so to speak. What the cause of it i do not know, but from my experinc and 5 years of searching for Mr Right i can say jup Demi sexual is real since i really tried and was unabel to have sex other wise which frustrated me a lot since i wonder what was wrong with me. So Demisexual in itself has nothing to do with LGBT++ (dear lord i hate this and i am gay) labels. Is just got put under there because it was use by them i guess. So it got extremly redicouls what "Sexual" orentitation people put out there being bi is not enough let me be pansexual or omega sexual. And meanwhile i am standing here question the sanity of these people.
@Wakka1993 it's called you having morals and understanding what it is to give yourself away yo. You're not easy or a sex object. There's nothing at all wrong with that.
@@Wakka1993 it’s a good thing! Not being able to perform sexually unless you are committed and attached to the other person is not a curse. It’s good. That ability to randomly have sex has caused much of the decay and rot we see today… up to and including STI infection, children with only one parent, the idea that we aren’t spiritual beings and chasing pleasure is some kind of virtue…. If everyone only had sex with the value of commitment, we’d all be better off as a society.
Keep your chin up. This year is when it starts to get back to normal. We all need to be strong. We can get through this. Read the Cass Report on how kids were being treated at the Tavistock Clinic. The war is not over but battles are being won. Onwards.
@wearetomorrowspast.5617 I hope you're right. My daughter is the only one of her friend group who still "identifies as female". The pressure on her to transition is huge. I just try to keep an open dialog. I don't think people really understand the peer pressure being placed on our young adults.
I’m not even 30 yet and I am one of the “older gays” who was not on this queer train. I always tell people don’t call me queer, I’m not queer. That was always a slur and still is a slur!
That's what I thought! But as a straight female, I can tell you this is very confusing! Anyway, I would never call any of my gay/lesbian friends queer. To me, this is very derogatory.
Lol the 90s says different but you may of course think what you like. “Queer” has been a reclaimed word for a long time. Just because it has been appropriated by normies now doesn’t change the history of use.
I’m 18 and unlike other gay people my age I never use the word queer, it’s gross and doesn’t represent me at all. I wish my generation would wake up already.
Hearing “I wish I never fought for gay rights” is tragic. Knowing that the activists are doing so much to unravel the rights the LGBT community has, is disturbing. They have no idea what they could very well loose.
But are they going to lose anything? I mean yeah, some of those extremists, that are actually whatever they are, will but how many of these tik tokers and activists will just go back to being "normal" when it actually gets harmful to be identified as LGBTQinsertwhateverelseispopularnowhere? Or they even just aren't getting the attention they need anymore? Real gay and etc. people will be hurt, yes, so, soooo much or more like are even right now, since unless you know the person your first thought will go to the crazys antics if you hear LGBT. Not a good first impression without the person doing anything.
It is sad. We fought for rights to marry, not for men competing in womens sports. Or going into their restrooms. When spoiled brats who don't know what they have, act oppressed living in the most accepting country in the world. When they didn't accept the hand they were given and tried to take the whole arm. Yup. They have really done damage to our community. F em.
Wait until the law catches up, gays right to marriage and adoption are based on the fact gays are born gay and it’s not a choice, trans are trans by choice and deals with identity not preference, soon the laws will be reversed like roe vs wade and you’re back to square one, feminism is destroying society while trans is destroying the lgb society
It's sad that people don't realise that right will always be right and wrong will always be wrong. Even tough what is being done today in the queer "community" is attrocious, it was and will always be wrong to discriminatte against homosexual people. I understand that people aren't able to have as much emotional sympathy for gay people who get discriminated against anymore because of the queer stuff, but I wish they were able to logically at least acknowledge that it's not okay.
Literally all I ever wanted was integration and to be part of society. To be seen as the same and equal, and definitely not mentally ill. Nobody fought for this nonsense.
Seems like it's persona non grata for even insinuating that the TQ+ are a free radical doing way too much where people would have been chill otherwise. It's not helpful to be up in people's faces with bad faith; it's damn detrimental. And to clarify, plenty of TQ+ people are not all on this ride, but they're still gonna have to pay for it because of these tikTok narcissists with altogether too much money and free time that they refuse to use to develop a personality outside of being an aggressive doormat.
same. as a so called 'autistic' a label I never asked for btw, all I wanted was to be seen as same and equal for me and few others.. not everybody just a few worthy people. Not be typecasted and sterotyped as something else.

You had that in the nineties. After Will & Grace and DEFINITELY after Queer as Folk. Nobody cared. And then the gimp puppies wagged their tails at children at Pride.
The obsession with marxism and by extension communism gets so hilarious when you learn of this nifty law in USSR that made being a social parasite (which so many of these activists seem to be) a criminal offence. A "pay fines, go to jail, get exiled" type of offence.
Yeah I agree. Queer generally means weird and strange and if you want someone to respect you then you really shouldn't label your whole community/identity weird. Gay, lesbian and homosexual are perfectly fine words to use and are there for a reason.
The saddest thing about this is as an educator in the USA I’m legitimately afraid to have any opinions about any of this at all 😢 I can’t even encourage female only spaces anymore out of fear of losing my job.
Bisexual teacher here, and I'm with you. I have no social media because apparently saying "kids with boy's bodies shouldn't play in girls' sports" is somehow controversial. Even coming out can get us accused of preaching the gay agenda in our classrooms thanks to these morons who target small children with talk about sexuality. Thankfully, I live in a rural place where the kids are too busy working the farm or participating in extracurriculars to sit on TikTok all day and make up stupid ways to feel special.
And that is dangerous and so sickening! I’m really glad I didn’t pursue the teaching career I considered in 2005… I’m where I don’t have to risk being fired if I take a stand. 💔
@@harrymills2770 On the one hand, I agree. On the other, you can't feed yourself, or worse your family, on principals. That's how they keep dissenters suppressed. In fact, that's how people in power from ancient times, the middle ages through ww2 and today have always done it. Give the people something to lose. Tell them "I can always make it worse". You take everything, in this case outright fire anyone who isn't completely, 100% in line? You have a mob out for your head. Give them them a chance to "just keep your head down and I will pretend you are unproblematic"? People will take it. Because everybody knows, you just won't get enough people together under those circumstances to really make a change. You and your 3-4 compatriots that actually showed up on game day (out of the 300 that will totally, absolutely, surely be their -oh! and bring friends, totally) will just be a flash in a pan and probably even that just in the local news. The risk just isn't worth taking for most people. Just look at how many people in resistances were young people (who likely thought themselves invincible) or older ones with nothing to lose anymore.
Gay people: "I'm just a normal person and wish to be respected as such." Queer people: "Everyone looks at me! I'm so different! I will keep pushing people's boundaries because I crave attention!"
No one can. At work I tend to avoid the non-binary people and others with made up pronouns that we are expected to recognize and respect. I can’t believe the higher ups at my workplace haven’t set any boundaries with these people. None. How crazy are they going to let it get?
They want to be special, and think that "normal" is a slur, and boring, and they want to feel that their brain is misunderstood. If they're like the majority of the population, they don't feel special. One of the results of people not telling their kids NO, and telling them how wonderful and special they are, and saying they can be anything they want to be, do anything they want to do.
As a GenZer i agree... Years of the "You are a Superstar, the world just need to SEE it" mentality and the BIG reality check broke many ppl... But just repeating that crap over and over again created this ppl. They created a generation of "i'm not the problem, is the world who is it".
I think this comment is very accurate. Many people want to stand out as "different" or "special" and have lots of FB Likes to validate their current life journey. This is an expression of low self esteem. These people need to consider self development or exploring more hobbies. If you want to feel better about yourself, do something more profound or challenging than pierce your eyebrow and dye your hair. Try identifying your own talents or do some charity for less fortunate people, so your world view isn't so self-centred. Moreover, people questioning their sexuality during puberty and young adulthood has been the norm forever. I'm 51 years old and when I went to UCSC, there was a concept called LUGs (Lesbian until graduation) and Baby-dykes (I know these terms are problematic, but I'm talking about the 90s; don't shoot the messenger). It's fairly common, and some might say that exploring one's sexual identity is a natural process of human development. The real issue as I perceive it is that this generation sees sexual liberation as an identity, and that gender identity makes them special. But, actually it makes you late to the party. The Baby Boomers gave us the sexual liberation, and without that there would be little conversation around gender today. This generation wants to feel like it's part of something bigger and more important than it does; this generation wants to feel special. I keep harking on that, but I have a point. In the Pixar film, "The Incredibles" the antagonist says something to the effect of "when everybody's super, then nobody is" and I believe that is what is happening here. It's jealous straight people wearing Gay-face or LGB-cosplay for attention. As in the Gays get a parade and I want a parade. I want to feel special. I know! I'll merely usurp this queer identity and be a societal victim and dye my hair (which used to be seen as a major rebellion against the status quo 40 years ago) and post my unoriginal perspective online for everyone to validate my existence. What we need is for the LGBwannabes to get a new hobby. Try donating time feeding people in a homeless shelter or helping an elderly neighbour once a week with the groceries or learn how to play the guitar. Do something that improves someone else's life or expand your own horizons, but don't be another talking head on a TikTok screaming "Look at me!" like a petulant child, especially when this is not about your identity, but a phase that most of these LUGs will grow out of before they're 30. Just saying. It's great to be unique and to celebrate yourself for achieving goals, but (and you will hate me in 10, 15 years from now when you realise I'm correct on this point) the majority of these LGB-impersonators are going to CRINGE when they look back on the blatant homophobic rhetoric that they posted online- forever, for everyone to see, no take-backs, no delete that post- and younger people will mock this generational rebellion. Because this isn't a political cause, this is lonely narcissistic adults with nothing better in their lives. It's sad. I forsee a major suicide epidemic stemming from this and it breaks my heart. I'm 51 and I grieve for this generation. 😢

Asked a gay friend the difference between gay and queer. He said "gay people dont handcuff themselves to the steps of St. Patricks and throw their own feces."
I am an older straight person and i would never use queer. It is and has always been a slur and people my age will never see it as anything but that imo
Right. I was in grade school in the 70s too and with all that happened in the 80s to the gay community, to me it is just as bad as the worst racial slurs and the c word for women etc. It isn't a cool word imo and I just don't think this fringe if gen z will ever make it acceptable
I learned it from a British book just to mean "odd", nothing homosexual related, and my parents beat my ass for saying it before anyone else got the chance to. I didn't even get to understand why until after they were done. No way these freaks are gonna trick me into using it again.
I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as a baby which I'm currently on the waiting list for a double lung transplant. I was sexually abused when I was 6 years old. I've been in trouble with the police many times for crimes such as, 'possession of a firearm', 'intent to supply class a drugs', 'armed robbery as part of an organised criminal enterprise. These are only some of the traumatic experiences I've had in life, and I understand it will be hard for many to believe as my life is so different to what a normal life is like. I have zero desire to purposefully see myself as a victim, tell other people to respect and agree with whatever I want because I'm a victim, or blame other people for the problems I've created in my life
The tragedy behind a lot of this is that there are a lot of people, including the young, who really need some emotional and mental health services, but never get help because others tell them its just all normal.
aporagender: "a gender separate from male, female, and anything in between while still having a very strong and specific gendered feeling" what the fuck does that even mean lmao 🤣

I’m a conservative and a mom to 2 kids. I’ve been really worried about their future 😓 I’m so thankful I found your channel… gosh like 2? Or more? Years ago ❤ I have been confused about all that’s going on- I’m 28 so you’d think I’d be up to date… or I’m too old now? Lol😂 I graduated in 2014, and I never saw anyone that identified as non binary, and there was maybe a trans boy but she could have been a lesbian? 😅 There were like 3 gay boys at the school and guess what? THEY WERE SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR KIDS! My school wasn’t massive, and we had 3 gay seniors in my 2014 class, and no one was mean. I saw no bullying- even though one would think the opposite because so many kids dressed as cowboys and wore camo lol 😂 I dealt with severe depression and súicìde ideation as a teenager. And I was placed in a treatment center in Portland Oregon called The Parry Center for 4 months after I turned 16. I was a lost soul, and I met my first trans friend who identified as a boy. I resonated with her and I became friends with her. I didn’t understand what she was going through but I remember caring about her. I was a confused teen, who had been abused my entire childhood physically and mentally and otherwise. I got my stepbrother put into juvenile detention for SA towards my little have sister and I. So that’s why my stepmom made sure I was gone for good and sent me 4 hours away from home… But she unintentionally saved my life 🤷🏻♀️ I was in foster care after leaving another treatment center a few months after I turned 17… And while in the second treatment center and eventually foster care- I never saw another trans person again. So I didn’t know much about it. And I didn’t even know what drag was- at 17… which I’m glad I had no clue lol.. It’s interesting, when I was a kid there was a man that my now 88 year old grandma dated a long time ago. And he’d show up around the Walmart or grocery outlet parking lots dressed as a woman and we all called that man mentally unstable. He work crop tops and mini skirts with high heels and he’d walk around- not looking well. You could just tell he wasn’t mentally fit. And now when we see that now and that person calls himself a woman- we have to accept it without hesitation…
Progressive socialists always remind me of Jerry Seinfeld's Bee character hitting the window over and over again, saying "this time, this time, this time," with every attempt to pass through it. Will they ever figure out the socialism/communism will not work, or do they even care that it will never work?
We went to our local city this week we only go every few months usually for doctors appointments and noticed funnily all the rainbow stuff had disappeared like I saw one server at at a restaurant with a rainbow lanyard but not one sticker on a shop, not one sign I was like are people actually waking up due to the Cass report? Are they all going to pretend none of this "Queer" stuff that happened and was pushed on children actually ever happened? Because it felt like that. Very very odd. From an old Bisexual who has never will never be "queer" and feels sick at the very thought of the word.
Speaking of the emo days, people forget that SO many of us were calling ourselves bisexual then too. A lot of girls who were doing it to look cool. This is very similar to that but worse because now girls are taking HRT/having their breasts removed because of it.
I only have sex with people I “connect to”… as should every other human alive. Would solve a lot of problems! I just so happen to only have sex with my husband of 21 years…. That’s just a heterosexual marriage.
I always thought the identifying as "queer" thing was strange, I remember being in my teens/early 20s and that being a grievous insult, I remember getting into actual physical fights over that word when it got launched at my friends, now apparently it's a fun quirky identity? I mean ok I split my knuckles, spilled blood, shed blood, put people in hospital and got sent there myself over that word but whatever, now kids can use it to cosplay LGBT til it is no longer convenient to em then move on and never look back it's cool apparently...
Well...not just that. The reason why many LGBT ppl started to use "Queer" was for two things: 1-An "empowering" tactic of "subverting" Queer as just a synonim of "extravagant" and Made feel them special (reason why seems to be the entire personality of many ppl) and not an insult. And 2-The attempts of making "inclusive terms" to the litteral alphabet soup of identities they created...and not gonna lie, its kinda practical specially in political debates.
Well, Goth went out of fashion. Queer is the new “look at me, I’m edgy and different”. But they have no cohesive style. I’d like to have the Goth back.
Not really. The punks and emos never demanded acceptance from the masses. They wanted to be left alone. These new TQ pluses are demanding of attention and in our faces. Nearly every one of them creates constant drama and is perpetually offended. A few at my workplace have reported nearly every employee to HR for one offense or another.
@@paulineb66 Good point. I guess beyond the surface level of young people wanting to stand out, not much in common. Their attitudes and mindsets are completely different. Plus while the former is a style many simply grew out of, the latter becomes almost a cult like identity to base their entire life/personality around.
This is also what's behind the protests that are supposedly about Palestine. What does the Party for Socialism and Liberation have to do with Israel and Gaza? Nothing!
Referring to your question about straight white girls feeing bad - I 100% agree. As a Vermonter that’s my perception on a lot of the women. These things always a pendulum. Right now they are taking it too far and when it swings back, and it will(!), they’re not gonna like it and should basically pray and hope that it won’t swing back all the way to the other side. MeToo also didn’t end well for a lot of women, as a lot of them now feel neglected in their work environment.

It's like they snuck in under the hard work of actually oppressed people and snuck in their whole friends list too just to proclaim their problems are now the responsibility of those oppressed who fought most of the war already.
I still believes the main reason is identity crisis. We all go throught the 'weird' change when reaching puberty and we all feel lost/a mess during it. It's a normal process of development to reach adulthood and independence. Social medias (especially tiltok)unly helps to mess even more with their identity. They end up paying more attention from outside and it makes really hard for them to find out their own identity and values. And THAT'S where the danger of trans activism is. Transitioning or thinking of transitioning before that phase. You can tell that feeling is not that you want but you CAN'T affirm for sure if the transitioning will solve all your problems. That's not how things work.
I'm bi and old. From back when we were still trying to gain acceptance. I've always liked the term queer. It fit me so well, but not now. They've stolen another word from me. I hate what's become of this world! Like I said, I'm old.
Re: Gender non-conforming/unconventional gender roles - even these terms seem to have little meaning*, I mean it could mean they don't conform to rigid/stereotypical gender roles, but such roles & presentations are few & far between to begin with. From what I've seen myself such people just don't like the labels, even if they're largely traditional they'll cite their alt appearance/tattoos & piercings as proof they're not of the norm. *it has little meaning because it's so often misapplied to things that don't have anything to do with what gender was understood as (10+ years ago).
They’re teachers because they like shrooms. They’re also teachers because children are A. easily influenced. B. Don’t like to upset others where as most adults won’t put up with these “teachers” (see activists) nonsense. Only kids will play pretend and make believe for hours on end.

About demisexual: that one isn't actually random lol It means that day to day you're functionally asexual (you're not attracted to either men or women), but a close enough friendship can flip a switch in your brain where you suddenly experience those things like a non-asexual. So they're not asexual but basically asexual for most intents and purposes. Hence demisexual. Imagine if you got really close to a male friend and suddenly years later woke up one day attracted to him, he's your one exception, but even one exception means you're not a lesbian (anymore?). That's demisexuality. Are people using it correctly? lol no you literally cannot tell while you're young, and if you can you're not demisexual.
I am part of the ace community but not demi i see people who are "demi" and talk about have sex third date(and 3rd meeting) in and i call bull because noway these people know there partner.
@@walkingtheline1729 tbf asexuals can have sex, since it doesn't mean you're biologically incapable of arousal or being horny. Asexuals are still humans with hormones and a working reproductive system. It just means you're not attracted to the people you'd sleep with, which is reasonably common even among non-asexuals. Plenty of cases of gay men who married and had kids before figuring out they were gay. Asexuality and bisexuality look very similar to each other. In both cases you perceive no difference based on gender, except asexuals won't perceive a difference between a 2/10 and 9/10 either in terms of how attractive they seem lol

Women are losing everything they fought for as well. So, I can only imagine the heartbreak of being a gay female and seeing not only women being erased but the absolute looney people latching on to the gay rights movement and creating this from it. I am 51 and worked in a male dominated field and women have worked so hard to be taken seriously in these roles and women before us starved for the right to vote and softball was such a huge part of my life for iver 40 years and taught me so much so what happened with title IX this week makes me so angry and sad too. Younger girls are going to be so devastated by what has been happening and how much worse it is looking when they realize that they were lied to, they do not have to take it and smile and they have never been obligated to be nice at their own expense. What i dont get is why do they say gender is fake and then make a bunch of new gender categories like that isnt as fake.
Because the only thing queer about them is the thought processes they can't keep straight
🤔 It is a puzzle, I have heard of folks wanting to make “misgendering” a crime? 🤷 If it isn’t real how’s that going to work in court?
Yeah they go “gender is just a construct it’s not even real” then 2 seconds later “there are thousands of genders! I am 5 of them! :D “
Or when they say "it's just pronouns what's the big deal" if not a big deal why do they have absolute meltdowns about them.

This, so much this. It's why they throw "cis" and "hetero" out as slurs. Normal isn't evil or bad.

Ya know what? You might be onto something. Does it remind you of the "lol so random" kinda thing?
Well...not just that.
The reason why many LGBT ppl started to use "Queer" was for two things:
1-An "empowering" tactic of "subverting" Queer as just a synonim of "extravagant" and Made feel them special (reason why seems to be the entire personality of many ppl) and not an insult.
And
2-The attempts of making "inclusive terms" to the litteral alphabet soup of identities they created...and not gonna lie, its kinda practical specially in political debates.
Well, Goth went out of fashion. Queer is the new “look at me, I’m edgy and different”. But they have no cohesive style.
I’d like to have the Goth back.
@@sorbabaric1 It's still around. Some of it has gotten mixed with the queer movement, unfortunately. Especially with punk.
This is why I’d rather have a second mod revival.
So they're basically this generations goth/punk/emo, just with a bright color scheme? Rainbow emo?
I saw emos and punks who are more stable that this ppl.
Queer can also mean counterfeit
I love the point about the emo/scene kids. Hung out with them all throughout high school and college. Never an issue.
🚨 MARXISM 🚨, 🚨 MARXISM 🚨, 🚨 MARXISM 🚨 = RUN, RUN, RUN‼️‼️‼️
This is also what's behind the protests that are supposedly about Palestine. What does the Party for Socialism and Liberation have to do with Israel and Gaza? Nothing!
You cannot run from it, you have to vanquish it from existence.
Referring to your question about straight white girls feeing bad - I 100% agree. As a Vermonter that’s my perception on a lot of the women. They claim to be oppressed yet were raised in comfortable households and attended private schools for the most part. It baffles me, but I think they simply don’t know what to do other than complain.
I was telling everyone woke was just stealth-Communism 20 years ago (when it was called "political correctness) - and I was laughed at and called "far-right" and "fascist" and all the usual names.
Glad to see some of you are *finally* coming round to my way of thinking.
I have c-ptsd from my childhood. All abuse was NOT sa. I went to therapy, then worked in the mental health field. I've said since my my early 20s the connection between csa or adult sa and gender/sexual deviances is undeniable
Please send a massive meteor.
Let's just do Madmax most of these people are dressed for it anyway.
In the 60's, we called ourselves :"Freaks". I see very little difference between that and what these people call themselves except with us it wasn't just sexual identification
I remember when queer was considered a slur for gay people the same way the F word was (the British slang term for a cigarette).
I had to pause at 3:40, that Starbucks barista is a friend of mine! I did not expect to see someone I knew on here but I'm not surprised. They fit the criteria quite well unfortunately
As a former emo I don't claim them lmfao
As a former "Neon" Pop-Punk I don't claim them either.
as a punk, we don't claim them either😂
I have gay friends that say these folks have set the gay community back decades. Just be gay. Most don't really care. Stop making a spectacle of yourselves. Good grief. Just be normal. Barista lol. I have 4 of them at my local coffee shop. Never put the 2 together.
in the days of way back when, polite people had polite names for this condition. homosexual males "went in the out door". they "went up the down staircase". lesbians "wore sensible shoes". these were ridiculous, but less ridiculous than current terminology.
LMAO I never heard those.
You forgot they would refer to gay men as "confirmed bachelors"
@@arkbien9303I always liked being a friend of Dorothy (a Wizard of Oz/Judy Garland reference) 😅
@@arkbien9303 I always thought that "confirmed bachelors" were the bygone days' equivalent of "MGTOW".

Arielle, I just love your videos! As a straight white male who believes that what you do in the bedroom is your business and nobody else's, your basic common sense is so needed.
Most teens want to feel like the outsider. Back in my day being a nerd liking video games was all it took, now its all sexual stuff.
Seems like a plague of narcissism.
I'm 71, queer always meant "peculiar", I'm in New England. I was in 6th grade when suddenly the word was no longer said in polite company. Took a few more years to understand why.
Peculiar, odd. That's exactly what it means. 😂
Just a reminder that language changes after 70 long years.
@@supernovaskies5044 the use of the word in literature etc, went from everyday to banned. If you came to it reading aloud, you just knew not to say it. It was a very abrupt change. 🤣🤣🤣
@@mariedinkler8542 And it's changed again. You can't control the generational nuances of the linguistic zeitgeist... because the number one rule of language is that it's fluid.
It's a damn shame that our Gen z's are literally CRYING OUT FOR HELP and tiktok and social media are answering the call, instead of the rest of us.
It is. It's also a shame and terribly sad that they don't/won't listen to us. 😔
52 year old conservative gay women. Thank you for your common sense. I'm sooooo embarrassed by this fake movement. It's like they are all jumping on the bandwagon. It's disingenuous. And they are disgusting.
Lol right off the bat “the irony is all LOST on me” I love how you don’t waste any time when calling out the nonsense! ❤
I miss the Emo and Scene days. Can we please bring aesthetics back
100% CORRECT. Big difference. Live our life together without the chaos.
6:04 I thought bull fighting had been banned. I mean Spain did.
Thank you, Arielle, for this video. It is really good.
It's like they snuck in under the hard work of actually oppressed people and snuck in their whole friends list too just to proclaim their problems are now the responsibility of those oppressed who fought most of the war already.
They set us back so much and lower the real pain of LGBT ppl that still is there in parts of the world
I still believes the main reason is identity crisis.
Back in October my hairdresser dyed my hair a flaming hot red and I wanted to cry. I looked like "Heat Miser", I had asked her to darken my hair and I got flaming red. I know everyone that said "its cute didn't want me to cry harder" 😅😅😅😅😅. I also did not want to be associated with these idiotic people who have co-opted anything used to be cool. I suffered for 3 months with that color and had her dye it Black which made it Burgundy. Girl, these people have sucked the fun out anything that makes you different. ✌🙏💜✌🙏💜✌🙏💜
We ALL need to keep dyeing our hair! I refuse to care what people assume about me based on my hair color, and I refuse to let these authoritarians steal any of my joy.
@@evolunacy2 yeah well for me its not worth it, I hated the color and I don't want to be associated with them in anyway.
I'm bout to be 46, ik exactly what the diff is and now I'm fkn embarrassed. Used to love rainbows now they've been tainted.
I've always felt that the the "q" in LGBTQ was unnecessarily redundant.
It used to mean "Questioning" for those who weren't exactly sure why their attraction was going all over the place.
I think that "unnecessarily" before "redundant" is, well, redundant.
I love this! I'm almost 30 and remember when queer was an insulting word. I would feel insulted if someone called me that
It's The Great Filter. It doesn't look we're going to make it.
"It doesn't look [like] (...) to make it."

About demisexual: that one isn't actually random lol
It means that day to day you're functionally asexual (you're not attracted to either men or women), but a close enough friendship can flip a switch in your brain where you suddenly experience those things like a non-asexual.

They define queer as standing in opposition to the norm. Now, how is queer related to gay or bi ?
I have no idea. It's all a scream for attention.
"how is queer related to gay or bi ?"
Apparently "queer" is used as an umbrella term for anything but "straight".

We may lose everything we fought for.
I will never understand women whether gay or straight being proponents and and endorsing this and teaching their girls that this is tolerance and they need to support it.
I remember when the Q in LGBTQ meant questioning. When you were figuring out if you were gay or bi not a bored straight person.
I have to disagree with you on the Marxism part because these people don't have a clue what Marxism is
they still call each other comrade and have circle jerks to the idea of communism 🤷♀️
Marxists believe the nuclear family upholds capitalism. Queerness subverts nornativity to break down the nuclear family.
Watch queer online teacher and workplace trainings. They speak Marxism.
It becomes so crazy that I'm now saying : straight gays when speaking about ordinary gay people.
