Or you can do what I do, don’t buy cars with black plastic trims! My Toyota Avensis only has a small bit of black plastic, that’s under the wing mirrors, and the scuttle panel near the window wipers, apart from that, everything is body coloured. I remember years ago when I was in my early 20’s, I had this mk3 Golf(p plate 96), they had those black plastic bits around the arches, and on the front and rear bumpers, had an absolute nightmare with those trying to make them blacker. I used Auto Glym bumper care stuff, worked well initially, then after a couple of weeks started to turn grey again, gave up in the end 😂 they say a heat gun is more effective, have you ever tried that?

😂 I agree my Celica has very little black plastic trim. Except under the bonnet. 🙄.
I’ve had many older cars with black plastic bumpers etc and had the same problem. I was always using silicone gels etc to blacken them up.
I’ve seen the heat gun method used but haven’t tried it. Don’t want to take the risk really, especially on customers cars. 😜 🔥

@@KyushaStyleTuning ahh yes under the bonnet I’ve got lots of plastic of course, but I’m
Not worried about that, as long as it’s clean, I don’t worry about it being black, having said that it’s not really faded anyway, as it’s never under direct sun light. I appreciate if you do it for a living, you need to do the plastics under the bonnet too.
