As a retired television director of 35 years which included making programmes in the UK and abroad I find your vlogs professional, telling your story an an interesting and engaging way. I love your videos, I suffer from chronic pain and multiple other issues. When I am in hospital or waiting at my doctors or going through a rough day at home, I turn on your channel and it always bring a smile to my face. You're the only travel channel I make sure I watch. Have been catching up from the beginning. I love your channel cause it's travels more for the average person looking to do other things than expensive tourist traps. I love the enthusiasm you have for the actual countries and their history. And I love the food places you check out whether they are authentic or not. It's always fun when you try something totally off the wall. I find you guys non-pretentious and real, showing not only the great stuff about travel but also the fails and hard stuff. I totally agree, switch the channel if you don't like the content. Sheesh, some people aren't happy unless they are dragging somebody else down. I'm nearing 60 and will never get to see the world that I can forsee. Living my travel dreams vicariously through your channel. Keep doing what you're doing.

Just discovered your vlog last night. Going to San Francisco in February , God willing and staying at the hostel at Fishermans Wharf. I've taken the Megabus from Vegas to LA, and many more places on the east coast . Love it. Screw the haters . It's your channel , you guys are real and down to earth.

Took the bus for the first time. It was easy to book ticket. Bus was nice and on time and seat was good. I do recommend be 30 min early.

I don't understand how you get haters. Ive binge watched your vlogs many times, and you guys are so friendly and fun. Sometimes I even have your channel on in the background while im cleaning or working if I'm feeling lonely. People are weird. I wouldn't change anything, I just wish the videos were longer so we could see you visit more of the sights, cause yall are awesome! But that's probably not realistic cause we see how much work each video is. Anyway thanks for bringing us with you on your journeys, makes me really wish I had the money to travel! :D
Eric and Allison are nice people, I don't know why some idiots hate on them. As Eric said if you don't like them or where they travel, don't watch the videos. Sadly these days there are some people who find it fun to troll on UA-cam.
I must admit I also haven't read the comments Eric mentioned, and some people make honest complaints. I saw one when they were in England that said Eric shouldn't eat while driving. I've seen some very mean comments on other peoples channels that were made by trolls who just wanted attention.
Totally agree with you about the negative comments. People can be so nice and then that one person comes out and takes the time to say something nasty. Most of us on UA-cam are doing this for the first time. I feel like they hold you responsible for the company's failings. We have watched your videos from beginning to end a few times during the pandemic and have enjoyed your travels.
I’m quite new to UA-cam and not sure what ‘standard’ people expect to see....however you were one of the first channels I subscribed to as (like so many people if asked) I’ve always wanted to travel more! I just love coming along for the ride and seeing what you see (and when things go slightly wrong). Like the rest of us, just keep doing what you’re doing and take no notice of those who are out to be nasty (probably just jealous anyway!). One last thing....you make me smile when you say ‘goodnight adventurers etc’...just love that! 😊
You are the only travel vlog I can watch on the regular. You are both adorable, real, and fun. I just found you recently almost have them all watched, love your content your information. You both have taught me how to "travel day" with such a better attitude.

I know this comment is very late in the day (hey, I’m rewatching...having watched from the beginning when I discovered your channel (about three years ago). You two were the first travel vloggers I discovered via your first English food vlog. I’ve since discovered others (often through recommendations from your channel) Flying the Nest, Kinging It, Travel Beans, Kara and Nate, Dane and Stacey and am still following Ashley on her new channel, and love them all, but yours is still the channel I tune into more quickly than any other. You both seem so grounded (genuine). Keep on the good work, whether it’s travel or RV’ing.

Ignore the haters. I think you guys do a great job. I think maybe people who leave negative comments watch to many travel shows on TV. What they fail to understand, is that it's just you two... and you don't have a "team" of people doing everything for you behind the scenes. It must be such a strange feeling to be home but not to actually live there any more. I get that feeling when I head back to my uni town. It feels like home but none of my friends are there anymore.
