john doe lol you keep believing that , hey every religion believes it is the "Real" or the truthful one, why can't a boxing match have controversy? The fact of the matter is , one guy became 48-0 the other guy got a L on his record
Floyd is easily in the running for TBE. He defeated more Champions than anyone else. Probably the only fighter to have that clean of a face after a 20-yr Boxing career. He basically had 2 careers in which he re-branded himself. One as "Pretty Boy" and of course "Money". Floyd wasn't always just a great Defensive Boxer. He was a combination throwing badass with many knockout highlights as "Pretty Boy" Floyd. He fought MANY fighters in their prime and he earned his 'A-side' privileges the correct way. He fought Oscar under his rules and circumstances with Oscar's choice of gloves. He also played the B-side to Gatti and defeated him with ease with no complaints. Floyd witnessed family and other Boxers suffer from head trauma conditions and learned he had to fight for himself because no fan, promoter or analyst will ever be satisfied anyways. His list of defeated opponents adds up to a star-studded resume.
Its the quality not quantity, he may have beaten many champions but the quality, Robert Guerro was a champion, victor Ortiz was, zab judah ad etc, the reason why Ray Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, and Duran had loses was because they all fought each other and were excellent boxers, if the "champions " that floyd beat fought any of them four guys they would get Hospitalized KOed! (And floyd would even get beat TOO) So yea he beat more champions but as farr as to compare them to another generation you have to also judge the quality, jus cause someone is a champion doesnt tells the WHOLE story! Cause 1st of all there are soo may belts that gets tossed around like it is nothing so the generation can be trash all it wants but thats not gonna stop boxing from having champios cause a belt doesnt have standards on what a champion iss or skill ad etc but a win.......... And also back in the day there werent really multiple belts..... Now a days anyone thats decent is a champion
And also the reason ALI #TheGreastestOfAllTime has a loss was because he fought Joe Frazier, Floyd has never fought anyone that was even in comparison......... No matter how good ALI was, No matter how fast he moved, or how muched he held Fraizer, no matter how much he popped him in the head with jabs str8's and hooks, uppercuts, no matter how harrd he hit Fraizer for all 15rounds and all 15rounds Fraizer never gave up and kept coming foward for ALL 3 fights and kept fighting with the every once of will to win ALL THE WAY TO THE END........... THAT IS WHAT A TRUE CHAMPION ISS, and Floyd has never faced anyone like that a day in his life.......... Thats the meaning of being tested.......... Thats back in the days where all the real champions deserved a belt win or loss, the Fab4 with hagler and hears and THEM and etc

People like to say Floyd avoided prime black fighters. What about Juuko, Augustus, Corley, N'dou, and Judah? But the guy that everybody forgets is Diego Corrales. Remember, Spanish is not a race. There are only four ancestral groups(Caucasian, African, Asian, and Native American). Corrales is more black than anything else. People call Thurman black but Corrales probably has more African ancestry than Thurman.
Right, i dont think floyd ducked anyone in his prime or early post prime. if anything oscar, mosley etc ducked him. I do think at the end of his career he knew he was getting over the hill and people like brook or thurman could have been a problem due to youth. Right now, brook spence, thurman and maybe even porter would beat floyd, as he is old.

Nobody is worried about Thurman Brah.... keep Hating
Some gems in this interview here. Hearing him talk about getting down with Pernell Whittaker (RIP), puts into perspective a lot of his skill the ring when he's getting in there with high level guys in training. That part where he talks about forgoing the KO with guys he could've knocked out, to try out and refine techniques, is also a really interesting thing too. He's got a great mindset towards training, very inspiring!
When he mentions how he goes to the body then looks his opponent in the eye it's the equivalent of when Curry drains 2 threes in a row in your face and does that pump fake and blows right by u for the easy layup in boxing terms lol
dont like everything about the man, but there is no arguing that the man played life like a game of chess and won. And that in itself is admirable. He is not TBE in my opinion, but there is a case to be made for it and it is a great and legit case. He will be one of those figures that advances the sport's tactics and history. What I mean but that simply is, the game will be/ is different after he left his mark on it. You cant say that about alot of the fighters. Even alot of the great ones.
How can you not like Mayweather when you don't even know him personally? People who know Floyd says he's the kindest man. Freddie Roach: "I knew Floyd since he was a little kid, very respectful and a nice guy". He donated Millions to charities, gives free Turkey on Thanksgiving, holds basketball charity events, etc. Floyd talked a lot shit about Arturo Gatti in their fight, but Floyd paid for Gatti's funeral. Floyd a nice man.
Guys if you want to know secrets or some real deep floyd talk. Check out his backroom interview right before the cotto fight. He spills all the beans, talks sparring legends at 16 and everything he just said but in deep detail. Good stuff
This is why Floyd is the best in our generation (him and Pac). The dude is a true student of the game. I don't think he's a "genius" in the sense that it was inborn--I just think he was obsessed with boxing and getting better in boxing and learning how to get better. We can learn a lot from that mindset.
He was starting to tell a story about how he sparred with a guy who beat Julio Cesar Chavez, then he mentioned that Chavez was over 80-0, then he got distracted because he had to throw in why his undefeated record was better than Chavez haha. Don't get angry at that though, guys at this level have devoted their whole lives to being the best in every way they can. Of course they're going to fight for their public image also. Bobby Fischer hated talking about chess when he was older, but an interviewer mentioned to him once that Jose Capablanca was the greatest chess player, and Fischer couldn't help mentioning all the mistakes he found in Capablanca's self-written chess books. lol.
Love or hate the GOAT, he's the best ever and was always light years ahead of his opponents. Reminds me of people like, randy moss, Mike Tyson, Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan....just great and better than everyone in their era.
Floyd is a Great fighter in the sport, there is no question about it, world champion, legend, a hall of famer, but the best ever i don't see that. When you look at the number of fights Sugar Ray Robinson fought in his career I think the numbers say it best. Robinson fought 200 fights over his 25 year career, sometimes he fought 3 fights within a week. Floyd has fought an average of 2 to 3 fights a year. Thats another level. Its more than just wins and losses or being undefeated. The times and the sport were so different back then I don't think anyone of present day can assume that they are above, and I'm just referring to Sugar Ray Robinson. There were many Greats from that era and the blacks had to fight the racism at the same time. First blacks to do this and that. just my opinion
Mit Nedlob alot of those numbers back in the days were not with fighters at their class. That's why he could fight 3 easy fights a week. They needed the money. Mayweather has the quality. He has fought top quality fighters. He fought against the best out there, whose record snd fighting skills proved why they were champions
I hate how they ask him a question an he just drift off topic 😂😂😂, shits mad annoying. I'm tryna hear about the shoulder roll an he talking bout him mom 😭💀
U.T. professor says death is imminent for most humans:"Disease will control the scourge of humanity. We're looking forward to a huge collapes." Shoulder Roll ineffective.
I have watched Floyd whoop ass since I was in middle school but let's be real. There wasn't as many weight classes back in the day and each weight class only had one champion. Of course Floyd has better numbers because the game is inflated with more weight classes and belts
Trae X what you have to understand is that the landscape of fighters today are totally different from the 80s.. those fighters would've been the most feared fighters if they were who they were and fought in today's climate of boxing. I don't even think Floyd would've won against those fighters back then.. the hunger was different if you go to most gyms today they are not packed with kids who are so poor that boxing is all they have..mfs coming to the gym with 200$ Jordans on. the hunger was different. So what I don't do is get caught up in what the past was like vs this era because it was 100% different.. you have to salute this guy for what he's done today and definitely salute the great ones who came before him..
mcm always that's because boxing isn't the "go-to get rich" gig nowadays. Boxing in America was driven by the black community. Today rapping is the go-to get rich gig plenty are doing it. Studios are always packed. Just like being a comedian fell off radar harsh so did being a boxer
"Women lie, men lie, numbers don't lie." A bet he was listening to Yo Gotti ft Lil Wayne while watching ESPN when he came up with that line which he seems to think is so great. Numbers can lie, too, which is why some numbers have asterisks (*) next to them. Casamayor at 135-140, Sugar Shane Mosley in his prime at 135-140, Pacquiao 10 years ago, Cotto when he was unbeaten and the world wanted that fight, Cory Spinks when he was dominating, Paul Williams (whose height/reach alone scared Floyd so he completely avoided him), and every other fighter who posed a serious threat to Floyd and he called "easy work" but never fought, then he took on the OBVIOUSLY easy-to-beat fighters. Like he said, "I'm older now...this is a young man's sport...I work smarter, not harder", which is code for, 'why take on the big challenges when I can take on the big names that bring big money and aren't much of a challenge instead?" 👎👎 I do look at the history of the sport and all the numbers so forgive me for not being a raging fan and buying into the TBE propaganda.
Bo Vice You're soooooo tough. 😂😂😂 Another brave soul behind a computer screen. I don't care who said it first, if Jay-Z actually did. I was just referencing the Yo Gotti song ft Lil Wayne. You silly young boys get so worked up over UA-cam comments. You're either super sensitive and emotional or you have really low self esteem and need to talk trash to make yourself feel better. That's childish. And I'm sure you'll have another toughman comment but whatever. That actually shows a lack of maturity and confidence, not an abundance of it. God bless you.
Ali lived in a time when racism was more acceptable in the open and direct, and when the government openly practiced in active direct oppression and discrimination. But it's not like people who feel like those people no longer exist. They're just more disingenuous etc.
80-0 is 80-0 both fighters are profensional fighters. Also Mayweather fought alot fighters that no one even know who they are, until he fought Oscar later on on his career.
"A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal." Ted Turner, Interview Audubon magazine. Shoulder roll this.
that man right there won with las vegas booing him ,he won with millions praying for his downfall ,its due to the hater that is so rich because they were willing to pay any amount to see his downfall (he was just a cut above the rest)even haters that are here right know would not bet because they are not stupid but haters.

doesn't this guy suppose to be a promoter and retired, why is he still touring, didn't he do that when he retired in 2015 , it's over your a billion aire and set for life, don't nobody want to hear this same story, I'm not a hater but it's time for him to play the cutband let the new generation shine, only fight that would entrance true boxing fans is GGG!
Kevin Hill he gets paid for this and he's still the face of boxing. the masters are always remembered. especially one of his caliber. no one to date has his skills or anything close to it . which is why they want him back
Race Ready i agree with you but if you gonna fight then fight, if your retired and a boxing promoter act like it ,he use to say pyp play your position, his fighters will never be household name bc he's still thirsty for attention, he doesn't need money for interviews or does he idk ,but he's destroying his legacy bc dude sound like a broken record! true boxing fans don't want to here this, his farewell tour is over he need to let it go and try to put tank in a position to be a household name and create his own brand and try to get endorsement deals , this is what a promoter job is not talk about what you did, he suppose to be a promoter!
they want him back but he's doesn't want to fight anymore, so shut up and promote tank more all that energy he talking about his self give that same energy to your fighters especially Gervonta, give 24/7 vip treatment bc his days are over!
face of boxing please, dude 6 figjts was boring, alot of holding and running, he got running skills and the Pacquiao chicken square dance i will never pay for his fights even his dad said he was fighting like he was scared # boring!

Bruh.. someone need to put subtitles on this interviewer
Theres no doubt Floyd is the GOAT !!! Theres levels to this
I have watched Floyd whoop ass since I was in middle school but let's be real. There wasn't as many weight classes back in the day and each weight class only had one champion. Of course Floyd has better numbers because the game is inflated with more weight classes and belts
Trae X he beat the best fighters in each weight class though
"Women lie, men lie, numbers don't lie."
A bet he was listening to Yo Gotti ft Lil Wayne while watching ESPN when he came up with that line which he seems to think is so great.
Like he said, "I'm older now...this is a young man's sport...I work smarter, not harder", which is code for, 'why take on the big challenges when I can take on the big names that bring big money and aren't much of a challenge instead?" 👎👎
I do look at the history of the sport and all the numbers so forgive me for not being a raging fan and buying into the TBE propaganda.
Antonio Blair u moist
Bo Vice ....how intelligent 👎👎
Antonio Blair That wasn't Gotti's or Lil Wayne's quote. It was a Jay-Z quote. Now how intelligent are you?...
Not very much dumbass! Now GTFOH!!!
Antonio Blair You really think Ima read d@ essay of bullshit. LOL Are you stupid or dumb? which 1? Get a life fuck boy
May weather acts like he invented the shoulder roll damn paper champion
Hey everyone, whatever happened to those worldstar hip-hop vine comps they usually put up every Friday ???? anybody know ?
First of all You're not a good fighter AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH IM AT WORK DYING. U BURIED THIS NIGGA
i don't take fight hype seriously any time they say "epic" after every video no more.
no!.... the first person to beat Julio Cesar Chavez was who floyd just talked about right b4...Pernell Whitaker!
800Million Dollars later hahahaha.
False. He beat more world champions than anyone so the people he fought were known and he fought the best of his era.
maybe we should fight like him so we can go toe to toe
he may be good at defense but he is older now and needs to train 3x harder because a beast is coming to mayweather beasts eat men
hahaha and whos that beast?
Sherone Peters Floyd beat the best fighter every continent had to offer. Shut your bitch ass up. #TMT
If that were true he would have stayed in retirement
Remember the dumbass move the greatest UFC fighter did.
Please tell me the "beast" is not Connor or nobody. Let alone, nobody can't be Floyd. You seem so uneducated in Boxing. Just stay in silence.
Goat
Is he coming back?
He's fought the most old champions and the least number one contenders.
"A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal."
Ted Turner, Interview Audubon magazine. Shoulder roll this.
Here we go with the hay z quote 🤦🏾
that man right there won with las vegas booing him ,he won with millions praying for his downfall ,its due to the hater that is so rich because they were willing to pay any amount to see his downfall (he was just a cut above the rest)even haters that are here right know would not bet because they are not stupid but haters.
Floyd Mayweather is tbe and I wish I could meet him because he is my favorite fighter and always will be and he will beat Conor McGregor
You want to meet Floyd and get a hug.
800 Million bucks later!!!!!
Hopefully we get to say that sentence later in life
Chess moves
My guy.. smartly downplays Julio Cesar Chavez lolol.. I like it lol.. everyone's a good champion after Floyd beats them.. he says it because it makes him look even better lol
I hate it when I want to watch a video but the audio is fucking garbage...
Floyd didn’t tell you anything you didn’t already know. Right? Not only is he masterful inside the ring, but outside too! He told you absolutely NOTHING in 9 minutes. TBE. 50-0. TMT.
does this sound like ass to you guys too? like the sound quality??
he did exactly that to corrales and put him down
Floyd is a laugh :))
Bad Ass...
Caroline Cooper no....ur bad ass Caroline.
Chavez in my opinion was better then Floyd would’ve been amazing seeing them fight each other
And the art of running and hugging, and how to win a fight by not punching and avoiding your spponent.
George Jacknowitz you go into a boxing ring and try to beat 50 opponents running and hugging and let's see if you'll win. Get your not even a grain of boxing know how on your favorite boxer's page instead of coming to hate in Floyd. Oh unless Floyd beat him lol
I can do that
you need a better mic
TBE
Why does he just go off instead of just actually answering a question??
Slippery like a fish lol.
Yeah, "she looking like, what the fuck"? She looking for a come up.
doesn't this guy suppose to be a promoter and retired, why is he still touring, didn't he do that when he retired in 2015 , it's over your a billion aire and set for life, don't nobody want to hear this same story, I'm not a hater but it's time for him to play the cutband let the new generation shine, only fight that would entrance true boxing fans is GGG!
Eric Gordy that's crazy!
