Tell them to punch you in the head. Any single one of those shots would have landed if they just aimed for his head. More specifically the top of his head.
Shoulder roll is difficult for almost anyone because it relies on angling your body backwards at the same time to reduce the chance of being hit on the temple / top of head. Even with that, someone throwing looping overhands like Maidana did, will still land.

PriceLife learning takes time. All conventional angles are different. You don't keep your hands high. It kind of goes against what a boxer is taught especially at novice levels
They're too stiff and committing too much, which is understandable because they're still learning. What they're doing wrong is that they're leaning forward while holding the stance while also but tucking in their chin. You can't lean forward with this stance because the stance isn't meant for offense.

pfarrell if you're in the proper stance your elbows will block those shots like milesallgood stated. The most effect punch is the overhand hook if you can land it

This stance is more for outboxers and defense. In theory, you wouldn't get the correct range and angle to land a hook.
Yeah, what a waste of time, I would love to learn a bit from mr. Mayweather but I don’t have the time or money to go after him. I try really hard to learn and would keep this in my heart forever. These guys can’t even stand up. Don’t know if I’m jealous or angry.

@@leodavies9383 No offense but he can get trained by his average local Boxing Gym instead of Floyd sr., he hasn't learned the basics yet and with Floyd sr. Teaching him with his time he isn't going get much out of it compared to someome who is serious and would possibly benefit more

Chia Lee Knowing the basics is probably why it's hard to execute. It goes against so many basic principles.
Reginald Leak not really. It still uses the fundamentals, the defensive aspects. There shoulder replaces an arm, allowing the jabbing arm to throw more awkward jabs as well as to allow a more relaxed stance. What the trainees are doing wrong is they're leaning forward with it and not emphasizing the shoulder as the arm replacement. They are seeing the stance as a go to offensive one instead of it's intended purpose of counter and defense.

This is nothing really new that he is teaching. The "shoulder roll" or "Philly shell" is style that most of us black people Naturally fight in. It's instinctual. Floyd Seven just mearly polished and perfected the technique.
