I finished my own Reanimator-Spyder just 5 minutes ago... Thanks for the Tutorial. I used the pieces (3:30) to sculpt legs 7 and 8.
Had this video saved and planned on doing this for over a year and now with 10th it turns out the reanimator might be decent! Lesson learned, procrastinate and things will turn out okay.
I really like this conversion - its self contained in one kit.
How to deal with the castellan's hand?
Oh, I just glued a spare doomsday cannons to it's back... but this works too.
I felt your pain anytime you let go and the plastic glue wasn't set. Thx for the video!
cool it on the plastic glue.
the more you use, the longer it takes to dry
on real nibbly bits you can use a TINY dot of super glue then once its set, go around the seam with a small bead of plastic glue (this is where tamiya thin works) and it will chemically weld the 2 parts together.
Thank you for this video my cousin plays necrons and seems to believe that kitbashing is not something that is possible as a space marine player i do it all the time hopefully i can show him this and give him some ideas for something that looks unique not just an out of the box basic model 😁
thanks for the video. saw many conversions over at Reddit, but seeing the step by step process in a video is always better than following image tutorials
Hope you enjoyed it!
Great Vid, liking the direction the channel is moving in, its becoming a regular part of my week!
I’m so so trying this out! Thank you for the great video 👍
I applied it and it looks great. Thanks for the instructions...
Glad it helped!

Here is the post in necrons Facebook group
great conversion man ! do yourself a favor drop GW glue and buy some Mr hobby or Tamiya plastic cement ... nearly instant dry on plastic :)
tamiya is my go to cement.
Hey thanks for making this brother! Im @sanguine_day. I couldn’t be more chuffed that you can share this with the community. Really well done.
I just made one and thank you for the Tutorial! I just might use the cabling from the spare parts and figure out some areas to blend them into the over all or hide the leg joints.
I have 2 on the way. I'm pretty excited. It'll be my first kitbash
Genuinely a great conversion. And great video. Nice one
These edits man. I love it!
Awesome conversion. Bought another Necrons half glad I saw this before I assembled a 2nd reanimator. You should be knighted good sir.
Really love those edits
Shout out to Tom 🥳🥳🥳
I’m definitely going to try this
You should! make sure you share them with me!!

Very cool reminds me of the stealth tau suits to build the dawn of war tau lord.
When he said that fist was important man did I sigh cause I had already used it and some dread fingers to make a fast for one of my skorpehs
I dig this! I think I have a few spare bits that could work as particle beamers from my myriad of Ork leftovers. Off to Ebay I go!
cool! just bought 2 off ebay to convert!
Hope the video helps!
10:08 Now I know who scraped all those Indomitus boxes...
Using a space marine codex as a cutting mat? You usually have to go to the dark web to see such deprived acts on video... ;) Awesome conversion though!!!! :D
Glad you enjoyed it ;)
Some suggestions. Pin the two rods after you snip the pegs to hold them together. Also if you have the right drill size drill holes in the body to put the ball leg sockets into the holes and position them.
I can't use the robot hand as i put that on another conversion.
We all know that 8 legs are way too many limbs that any creature has a right to have so 6 is the perfect number #SixLegsGoodEightLegsBad
Awesome idea! Where are the base pillars from you used in the other spiders?
I made them a 3D printer! :D
Great tutorial Mikey! Subs numbers might be off as people could be watching via browsers that they haven't signed into, e.g UA-cam app on firesticks...
Why haven’t their FIRE sticks subscribed??????
@@HellstormWargaming pure dodge.
This is great! I also really like the necron scatter terrain. Are those 3d printed? If so, where did the stls come from?
Pretty much all thingiverse 😂
i think your chanel has great potencial! c:
brilliant
I WILL be making Re-animator Spyders lol
Epic!!
Hey I'd love to get your opinion on my first serious necron overlord paint?
So the only piece you need outside of the reanimator kit is a Castellon fist? How do you recommend we get some?
The fist is a part of the Reanimator base! Everything I use in the tutorial is from the Reanimator kit, the only bit that isn’t is the praetorian parts for mandibles :)
And the guns of course!
Are you going to do any freehand on them? 😘
*BLOCKED AND REPORTED****
Where did you get the things like the obelisk that one spider is hanging off of?
Ah I printed those with a 3D Printer :)
Can you do this with the doomstalker?
both want to do this and dont at the same time lol.
I have 2 spyders, really want a third, and 3 reanimators. Problem is i feel like Reanimators will suddenly be a "bring 3 or bust" the moment they actually fix the damn unit.
I have made a few of these now. Main differences in mine is I didn't add the extra segments to the front legs, and I used the tip of a warrior flayer for the teeth. You should have millions of these spare.
Anyway, here is how they turned out, and a few alternative weapon options (all from Indomitus spares)

Nice work with the gun conversions!!
ha ha ha ha the maurice vid is hilarious ha ha
Are you allowed to use this in an official tournament?
most places wont have an issue - always worth checking before hand though :)
Thanks, mines a total abomination but thanks for the guide.
Spider? You mean mantis?
Great idea, but one of the most frustrating tutorials I've seen. You don't show clear directions of what you're doing, sometimes it's not even in the center of the screen, and then you fastforward so there's no chance to see exactly what you've done. I get that I'm supposed to improvise, but I don't see how it hurts to show exactly how you cut and fit things.
I tried playing the video at half speed so I could see where you cut and follow along easier... now you just sound seriously drunk. 🤣
Turning crap into crabs.
