The practical things like funerals, wills and graveyards are so welcome for my legacy saves. I’ve already been making my own graveyard lots to try to keep track of my passed sims.
I think I’m more excited about the will and custody thing.
Black widow challenges are about to get real. Also the family drama of divorced parent (or elderly parent) being married by a younger sim for the inheritance. Or siblings convincing parent to disinherit sibling/s
I didn’t even consider that! lol I’ve gotta play around with a young sim and do that lol

I'm pretty excited about this one. It might be the first pack I order right away. Usually I'm okay waiting until they are 30% off or more, but I am dying (wink wink) to get my hands on this one.
It's another small town world like Henford on Bagley. Except it seems based on Romania & surrounding countries. The festivals and the reaper career are the ones I'm most interested in. Along with the supernatural elements I love.
As long as we dont get obnoxious sounds/notifications for the festivals then i agree. Cause one of the festivals literally happens every night after dark 💀
I would also like a mermaid refresh that's why i picked the one with underwater landscapes from the recent expansion pack idea survey. What didi you guys pick?
I am curious how the cross-pack integration will turn out.. i do hope all of the occults get something, but mermaids in particular don't even have a special grave stone, currently.
I was quite surprised that they mentioned regaining milestones, since Sims loose (most) milestones from dying atm .. maybe there will be death types where the sim doesn't automatically vanish from the active household ? (as in, they immediately become a ghost that is part of the household, and the player has to either complete ghost tasks for a Ghost to be able to leave, or they can just leave the household via gravestone, as it is now.)

The undertaker/mortician career sounds like a rabbit hole but they've hinted at work tasks which might mean you can work from home. Being a work from home mortician sounds both disturbing and hilarious.
So instead of fairies as the new supernatural, we got ghosts upgraded into really a functional supernatural group. Then there's the reaper group, could they also be considered new functional supernatural, or are your powers locked to your work hrs?
In the paragraph beginning "Once Sims pass away..." it states that a player can choose who the Deceased is. That tells me that if you want to plan a funeral (like a party), you get to choose who will die. I imagine that elder sim was "chosen" and once the "funeral" system started, he begins to feel ill (per the trailer) and takes to his bed. His family arrives and he dies (the spirit floats up) and the process begins. The fact that the sim is chosen may be the reason their death is not considered a NEW death type. More of a natural death that was scheduled.
Yea, i honestly am probably gonna get this.
But im noticing a theme here with them making packs out of things that should've been that way to begin with.
Like ghosts should've had that most of those abilities or interaction from the get go.
Now giving them leway: since the begininng, the sims 4 had problems with any and everything ghosts weren't important enough to care about. So it should've been atleast an update. Like the skins tones.
We also still need Mermaids fixed. Like they completely did not update them with any of the new cosmetics or ANYTHING.
And an update to hair colors in general. Does anyone know why we still havent gotten a color wheel for hair, yet pets and werewolves have crazy creative possibilites not only with base color but also patterns??
It's also getting me wondering what could possibly be next. You know whats the thing that everyone always wished was either changed/updated/upgraded/improved upon? Thats a genuine question btw. Haha
I am so excited for this patch. Because this one right here is Lot the coolest one because it has the grimly. Recruiter and all the intercourse stuff that you can do I just pre-order for it. And it's taken on October 31st. Yeah, Halloween. My favorite holiday next to Christmas.

Hmm… so how many new lot types do you think there are? Cemetery at least… haunted house? (Could be different from haunted residential if it’s a public lot) And maybe funeral venue if funerals work similarly to my wedding stories? Though I honestly hope it will be more like Lovestruck’s dates where you can just choose from a variety of existing lot types.
i wonder how occults will be affected? so can for example, a spell caster ghost still have these new powers?
Thanks for all this in-depth information on this pack. I wonder if the new portal and the one from Relm of Magic are interchangeable in terms of where they can take you. For example, would this new portal take you to the afterlife only or could it accidentally take a Sim to the magic world as a choice or in a random manner, which would probably annoy a lot of simmers and spawn new Mods because of it?
I already purchased it on my Xbox. I'm just waiting for the money to get it on my PlayStation now.
I'm not sure what game it came from but there is a lantern tree that was preorder content. I see it all the time in build videos and I would love to have it but I wasn't playing the sims 4 during that release and I play on console so I'll never have it unless TS4 has some kind of way to legitimately get these items after the fact.

Pretty sure it's Olive's last husband Ichabod Specter (who is already deceased in Sims 2).
I am so tired of these city festivals. It was fun for City Living & Cottage Living, but now it's just so boring and repetitive. And they are always broken and bugging around.
I kinda like them. A lot of the newer worlds are so dead since they're so big, so it's nice to have a couple of festivals where all the townies come together on one spot.
