Every how many miles do you change the inner filter? I want to do a fluid change on my own truck but im scared too. I do the oil changes already heard it not ideal to flush a transmisson. Just change outter filter and drain. My truck has 150k miles.
EVERY FLUID WILL EVENTUALLY GET DIRTY, DEALERS WILL SOMETIMES SAY YOU DONT NEED TO CHANGE FOR THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE MEANING THIER WARRANTY, ONCE THATS UP NOT THEIR PROBLEM. SO ALWAYS CHANGE FLUIDS, I THINK YOU SHOULD BE OK WITH THE MILLAGE YOU HAVE.
@rigobertoespinoza1685 I think that's excessive, what you been doing is ok or even stretched out a little more should be fine. I just changed my external filter and the fluid still looks good and it has been 50k. I will probably change the fluid after another 50k so will change the fluid after 100k.
You should have shown the actual removal of the filter. You just showed after it was done and put on.
My bad, it literally pops right off and on.
How many gallons did you get once you drained it ?
About 2.5 gallons, just measure what came out and put that amount. Otherwise 3 gallons is what's recommended.

@@boxtrucktriptips8689 yeah had it serviced twice once at 60k and 120k want to start changing ever 30k what you think
