Want to pre-emptively address this as its already come up and will keep doing so, there's a big difference between a normal build that is powerful but actually works as fun reasonable way to play the game as an average Tarnished VS min max 32 buffs crippling your defences in order to get a single high damage number boss hit for a thumbnail.
I want to give you guys builds that are insanely powerful yes but also fun and most importantly not frustrating to play throughout the whole game.
But you stated you were the only one you’ve seen use the ash of war in that way, you are not and you were wrong. Nothing to do with the build.

You may not have meant it like that but the way you say it in the video makes it sound like you are the one to discover the interaction.

Been using the lightning purfume bottle the whole dlc its so busted. Throw on the dragon heart, some dragon cult lightning incants. The rolling sparks ash of war. And the shard of alexander, perfume bottle talisman, godfreys icon and lighting scorpion charm. You will walk threw the dlc and not even have armor on. Im not even kidding the amount of lightning damage you can get now is game breaking. If you see a dragon with lightning bottles helping you kill some dlc bosses its prolly me 😅.
The ash of war is not a charge attack for icon

The icon is for the dragon incants. I dont juss spam one skill the whole game. Whats the fun in that. The ash has horrible range as well and bosses that are moblie will dodge it alot. You gotta be flexable. I would imagine there is a better one to use for my build but thats the joy of finding one 😇 i havent got the attributes down yet tho i suck at min/max soft caps and fancy numbers i juss wanna play haha

The great thing is even if you don't do all the fancy stuff as long as you hit an enemy weakness perfume bottles just destroy them. Saw a far from optimized setup with the Frenzied Flame bottle destroy Romina in seconds not even using Rolling Sparks. The only issue is having the stats to really use all of them.

I’ve been wanting a red armor set since dark souls one specifically with a red mask or helmet and FINALLY the Rakshasa armor does that for me . Very happy plus I’m just obsessed with dark red masks ninja masks helmets etc. what’s that have to do with anything in this video … nothing … great video bro !!!
Thanks for this I'm still in the base game but when I first heard about this weapon I knew I wanted them... Getting close to being able to enter dlc so I'll probably run in then return to base game to finish before returning back to dlc.
To those that are struggling on messmer and thinking of trying this just know it’s way harder than it looks. After the first 15ish attempts at barely damaging him it really seemed harder than just fighting him normally. But then I had a breakthrough and got him to 1/4. Maybe another 15 attempts later and I got him.
The most important part is phase 1. If you can get through it quickly and without taking damage you can drop a terra magica at the start of phase 2 and just stay in one spot. It took 35 seconds to finish the fight. I kind of feel bad about doing it because I barely fought him normally and I know if I tried more or got more blessings I could do it. Especially after learning how to dodge a lot of his attacks from practicing this strat.

May I suggest rakshasa armor set. sure u might get hit harder. But damage increased.
Could you actually throw in Endure on a second main hand weapon, or does the buff end when you change to the bottles?
You'd be ash of war juggling 2h 1h 2h and it'd be a pain and not give you enough time to do anything properly sadly.

Would this build or the impenetrable thorns build have better utility/fun factor? (Lack of larval tears to keep moving builds).
Since both of them rely on just 1 imput i think that there is a little fun in both builds, but if you enjoy it then the one what calls you the most
Wouldn’t the sorcery potency talisman boost Tera magica? Also the lightning one should be up in the red flower area if I remember correctly, I don’t have the madness one yet so I’d appreciate a late game weapon you don’t need bosses or enemy deaths for.

Purfume bottles are fun. You can dual wield 1 type like dual swords. Or put a different one on your off hand and have two elements.
I tried a few and it was massive damage like it shows here but I tried it with the frenzied perfume and it one shots most enemies
Surprised you haven’t posted a fire knight greatsword with flame knight ash. With 10% buff from leda body, flame grant me strength 20% phys and 20% fire dmg, golden vow 15% it raises attack by like 82%. you can always add in shard of alexander, physick flask, and still room for 2 other talismans. could do jump attack, guard counter, charged attack etc for another 20%. it’s kind of nuts. i pair with a misericorde with royal knight resolve since this stance breaks so well. it’s nice, big R2 hits hit for like 2.5-3.5k
What RL and what do your stats look like? I'm doing dex/faith atm at rl150 because I am using Mesmer's spear but I might want to switch back to str/faith
im not sure if im doing something wrong but every time i put on the golden vow buff my rolling sparks does like no dmg until the buff is gone

@RageGamingVideos I have a question for ya, I doubt I will get a response but it's worth a try. How well does this work in higher New games? I tried your thorns build out and while it sort of works, I'm not getting anywhere near the amount of damage output you are. I'm OK at these games but I try out a lot of different builds and most of them are no where near as good as some of the videos show. I'm also on new game +4 if it makes any difference.
The higher the ng+ the harder it is to level up, and the more health the bosses have
All you need to do for any NG+ run to make the game easy is to use the lightning perfume bottles with the rolling sparks ash of war, and it works like a charm. To use it effectively, dodge a boss' attack then look to the ground at the bosses feet (after locking your camera off). Then just use the rolling sparks ash of war at the ground and the perfume will instantly explode, dealing pretty much an instant 6k dmg. So to answer your question, this perfume build with rolling sparks can deal loads of dmg very fast, and is extremely effective in any run of the game and dlc - probably the best build rn.

I really wanted to try this but then you started talking about where to get the weapon. That sucks bc I have no clue how to get to the right side of the map. I’m hard stuck. It took me hours to figure out the top left part.

I've been fighting messmer for days I just couldn't beat the boss but I did this and I beat him on my 3rd attempt what the heck I love you
Also, when you are looking at the floor and not target locked on the bosses, it can in a lot of cases mess up their targeting.... I mean that is known by a lot of people. I'm just add to it.
I did this a couple days ago in pvp with a friend when we were testing things with the madness bottle and it instantly killed him and my eyes popped out of my head 😂

The Snow Witch Hat works only on Spells.

Please make a video about not burning the tree before completing both quest lines for the NPC companions. And immediately after that make a video about how to kill the final boss even though you burned the tree before completing both quest lines.

Already beat the DLC for the 2nd time now just with this build... makes the game feel wayyyy too easy and cheesey because I did Midra within 20 seconds and consort of radahn within 20 tries. "Head empty" type of build. Im gonna switch back to something more fun now lol.

Probably since he's weak to frost. However you can also just summon Igon if you do his quest line. Makes the boss waaaaay easier.
I found a video here on YT that helped me immensely. I did have to use the fingerprint shield and sacrifice an ash of war to get fire damage negation, as well as repsec to 99 vigor because I suck at dodging lol. I did beat him though, well, me Igon and Tiche did.

is this really an exploit to be "nerfed"? it's still doing what they programmed it to do technically speaking--if you point a spell like that at the ground, it will explode the same as if you aimed it at any solid object. why would the ground be different than a wall? idk what they would expect to do with a spell like that...like why even have it then...

What.... majority of players wouldn't know about this build if it wasn't for syrobe anyway. Besides, the perfumes damage is quite overtuned right now, and the rolling sparks at the ground is a bug that compacts the hitboxes. The dmg is probably going to get a nerf, rolling sparks is probably going to be able to pass through terrain soon, and there is probably going to be a limit on how many hitboxes can proc at once.

FYI day one of release I was using the chilling perfume with rolling sparks, it’s one of the two options. People will find this without every single content creator making a video about it.

Yeah I did the dlc for the 2nd time on a lightning perfume build, and I'm switching back to something more fun because this build is the embodiment of a 'head empty' playstyle.

Already scene a better version with lightning for up to 31 k damage
Doing the whole speedrunner-esque min max trigger madness, trigger bleed, swap gear talismans etc looks cool and impressive but its in no way a practical build for a normal person to actually use and play, I say all this in the video but if the goal was just get biggest number for thumbnail that'd be easy but then everyone would swap to the build and repeatedly die and have no fun as the build cripples you in normal gameplay while needing 75 years of set up. This is the best of both worlds.
@@RageGamingVideos golden vow, trigger madness. Drink flask. That's not terribly hard and the build is still viable on smaller enemies. That being said I do like frost better tho and this build looks fun

Parfume bottles it's cool, but all this huge op-damage from bugged rolling sparks ash, and I think it will be patched/nerfed soon, like it's been with bugged frozen stomp and flame of the redmanes ashes. Yeah, it's funny play, but unfair like cheating.
this isnt even the most dps you can build. my current build deals 25 k and im in testing for a potantial 40 k build
