I replaced my rail by following the steps in your video. The replacement was flawless and the parts cost was close to my $100 deductible for my warranty to be used. I have an extended warranty on my truck but that just means they try to explain why the warranty doesn't apply after the work is done. I'm super disappointed with Ford service. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video! I'll rewatch this in 7 years.
Thanks for the feedback! Luckily it's not a very difficult or time consuming job. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done due to the design other than to install another bracket set when those fail 👍
I have a 2019 Raptor and I just replaced the arms and I had to loosen the rear glass panel to get the arm under it and far enough back to reach the hole with enough clearance. Your install seemed to have plenty of room in the rear. Now the motor doesnt seem to have the power to move the new arms back and forth and it keeps stalling/returning. I can get it to close but only if I help the air dam close. Any ideas? It was a major PITA to get the new forward portion of the arms into the track and they were hard to move forward and backward to get the ears to line up.

Getting ready to tackle my 2013 no recall on them is there ?
No recalls on those. The only problems I have run into are bad motors/module. The mechanisms don't seem to fail
I can’t get mine to vent up. Am I still able to fix it?
Also do you get the Amazon ones or the ones from sun roof dr?
What material are the new rails made of?
They are stamped steel with black plastic bonded to it. As far as I know the design has not been changed at all.
