they can't pay the little one on the cash
down at the Loblaws a living wage.
And then they got the license to sell you
the dope, and so you're a captive audience.
I mean you're going around stoned out of your
gourd, trapped in their Superstores, hemmed
in on all sides by aisles and aisles of irresistible
Doritos.

Oh and the Oreo cookies.

Not to mention the family-sized packages of
Skittles.

Next time she comes we will have another cook up. She is in her nineties, so I was worried, but there doesn't seem to be any bad effects. She told everyone about the lovely afternoon she had at our place.
@@terigwyn9964 to be fair there’s some great pharmaceuticals that pair excellently with the ol’ greenery. Like I was suffering horrendous depression and anxiety for many years until they gave me a neuropathic painkiller, pregabalin. Which is _so_ much fun, it’s being taken illicitly by some and the government here in the UK made it illegal without a prescription 😂

I am a senior Citizen and I smoke the shit out of weed and I feel great. I am working as hard as I did 50 years ago.

Every day since 1971, and the days I didn't aren't my fault...
I’m 65. Smoked a little in college. Now my son sends me edibles from San Francisco to help my restless leg syndrome so I can sleep. Caught myself lying in bed singing Stairway to Heaven to my cats.

I also suffer from RLS. I was floored when my specialist told me the best treatment for RLS was THC. I am a 60 something and had never tried cannabis because it was illegal (until now). It just seemed weird to be discussing the best pot to get with a doctor. The best part was when he said, I can write you a prescription but it is easier to just buy it from the local store. I was also referred to a doctor that specializes in cannabis therapies.
I am now using THC oil, it works great. I have slept through the night for the first time in years. A side benefit is getting stoned. I was really nervous about being stoned. I found out that I just get profoundly mellow.
Damn I need a good connection. 😂
I don't know why they think the idea of seniors getting into pot is some kind of a "strange" idea. C'mon...... Silent gen & boomers enjoyed QUITE A BIT of the stuff back in the 60's & 70's. They are the 65+ now.
As an X-gen, I would not have gotten started if it wasn't for the generations of stoners before me.

When I was 18 I worked with a WWII veteran named Jim. One day the subject of cannabis came up. He had been in North Africa. He mentioned smoking hashish with the local tribesmen. Jim was an old school cowboy. He said he enjoyed it. I knew where to get hash. I made Jim a present of some hash and a small pipe. Happy old dude!
My cannabis induced paranoia and anxiety miraculously disappeared as soon as weed was legalized!

It's amazing what not worrying about getting locked up and loosing all your worldly possessions will do for paranoia and anxiety.
I lost my Pops a few years ago ,but I finally got him to try a very fine grade of cannabis while he was still it decent health .His pains were gone for awhile,but he didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped he would.
I miss you Pop.
Dad dying of cancer wouldn't smoke even though he couldn't eat. He said he didn't smoke and wouldn't now. He said they would bags of it for cheap and then get more paranoid. I respect that and miss him

When the job circus was testing me as part of the disability process, I had to take an IQ test among others to figure out if I was good for anything. My formal education was high school/vo-tech graduate. I smoked a joint to keep calm that morning before I had to deal with all of the orifice BS. The IQ test came out 128, not quite a genius, reading and comprehension was at a sixth year postgraduate level. (Masters) I have been smoking weed since I was sixteen. Look at how badly it screwed me up!

I just retired from the Consumer electronics industry and smoked during my entire career. Most likely the most cannabis friendly careers with exception of the NBA and NFL.

I am 85. I started ten years ago with medical cannabis--sadly, my body still aches. Happily, tho, I can now use it without feeling 'guilty'. THIS video is hilarious to me! Cuz it's still happening where I live...lots of Seniors. Uhhh, very happy seniors. Strong survivors of several wildfires, which reality feels REAL...more reasons for MJ.

I did it the other way around. I’m 76 and only started on diy edibles at about 69. No regrets, sleep great, good pain relief and very relaxing. Best way for me is I eat a biscuit around late afternoon, take a shower , have a beer and relax , have my evening meal just as the munchies come in, most enjoyable. Not yet legal here in Oz but we manage. I wouldn’t drive on a road I have to share and am aware that paranoia can occur but I find if I tailor my dose I don’t have a problem. Half the Country now lives in areas were pot is legal. Those of us here (I’ll leave which State out of this comment) are surrounded by States where it’s legal and they’re making tons of Taxes off of it. Here where I am, it’s still illegal and a $1K fine if you get caught. I recently went in to my Doctor for my annual Medicare Wellness exam and got popped with a piss test. After all these years of smoking without incident, now that I’m retired and not harming anyone, I get to refrain for two months so I can test clean in a return visit. I haven’t figured out yet if this is required by the State, (I’ve been told that it’s NOT required by Medicare) or if it’s just my Dr’s personal crusade. Anyhow, once I get my clear bill of health, I’m getting a new Dr and she can go pound sand.

72 y/o. Been smoking daily, all day for 54 years. Hope to smoke for 54 more! Built space shuttle systems back in the day. Went back to school at 42 y/o, got a degree in geomatics and worked my way up the ladder to pass my exams to become a registered professional land surveyor. Just bought my fourth house, retired now, hiking in the mountains behind my house almost every day. What's the fuss? LOL.......................
