I would be very scared to get one of these negative side affects. Being armed with this Information and knowing what to ask a doctor before considering this or any surgery is so important. I always love your videos and calm demeanor in explaining things. Happy Holidays to you!!
Thanks for sharing such important information! I didn't know that eyelid surgery can affect not only beauty but also eye health. Your detailed explanation and simple way of explaining things is very helpful. Indeed, without proper planning and assessment, the risks of surgery can increase. Happy holidays!
Hi @yogawithdenise, Thank you for watching! Malar bags/ festoons are quite challenging to treat as they are usually caused by fluid trapped in many small chambers. Depending on the cause, they can be camouflaged with filler, or in some cases surgery can be done. You can refer to these older videos about it: ua-cam.com/video/8KQ-Bj8XAW4/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/a_4TnX_A0JA/v-deo.html
Good evening, I have congenital ptosis. I have a muscle that is longer than the other eye muscle. I want to undergo surgery to remove or shorten the levator muscle. I want to consult you, doctor. Will my eyes be completely closed after the operation?
Hi @FadeAlmhmad, The purpose of eyelid ptosis correction is to lift the upper eyelid, and restore function to open and close the upper eyelid completely. I usually measure levator muscle function, and eyelid position before surgery, during surgery, and after surgery before the patient leaves the operating room in case additional enhancement is needed. You can refer to this recent video about eyelid ptosis correction surgery - ua-cam.com/video/-KyPDUdWwZs/v-deo.html
Hi @adeelaafzal2725, It's important to have the cause of the shedding diagnosed. Temporary hair shedding is generally self-limiting without medical treatment, but the cause does need to be diagnosed to rule out more serious medical issues. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Dr i saw your videos i consulted many doctors they recomended surgery for malar bags in eye is Morpheus 8 helpful to get rid of malar bag can continue with that. Can you give a suggestion
Hi @HitSan-cn8xc, I hope you understand that for me to give you a proper second opinion, I would have to physically examine the issue in consultation like your doctors did. Without an examination, I can only give guidance, which you can see in this video on how I reduce the appearance of malar bags that you also commented on - ua-cam.com/video/8KQ-Bj8XAW4/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Hey doc I got question I had consultation today Doc said he can do surgery :) I’ve had bags since 2009 I forgot to mention I have severe insomnia and allergies Is it possible the surgery won’t work? I would hate to do it and pay the money and it not work
Hi @talksick508, Lower eyelid surgery is to sculpt prolapsed orbital fat that causes eye bags that are always visible. If your allergies result in puffiness under your eyes due to fluid retention, this can occur again, but temporarily, and will appear a little different from eye bags caused by prolapsed fat. Insomnia can cause temporary inflammation and discoloration under the eyes that appear like a form of eye bags, but again temporarily, and a little different from eye bags that are always visible because they are caused by prolapsed orbital fat. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @keralastylecooking3977, You can expect several months of recovery time from a skin graft in the lower eyelids, where appearance gradually improves, with up to a year for full surgical healing. 4 days is not enough for adequate healing where it's not noticeable by others. I hope this clarifies things for you.
good evening doctor, I had a bleoplasty, 2 months ago, I notice the presence of electropions on both eyes and that my eyes are pulled down, the surgeon says that we have to wait until the internal stitches disappear completely, they are still on both ends under the eyes, I am afraid of staying like this, I look weird. how to fix it if the situation does not change and when to consider a corrective operation.
Hi @fatiallouch9496, Sorry to hear about your problem. Ectropion usually happens when lower eyelid skin is removed causing a skin shortage, as well as compromising the muscle behind the lower eyelid with the incision. I usually advise at least 6 months after the previous surgery to consider a revision as temporary swelling from your first surgery can make a procedure inaccurate. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/wT9mSBvAlno/v-deo.html

How much is recovery time for lower eyelid retraction after skin graft I need no one to notice it
Is 4 days enough after graft too
