Nice video, thanks! I love how musical this thing sounds like. Seems like it's one of those tools you can really wrap your head around in a positive way to produce some rich, musical, deep results.
Nice demo. Beautiful sounds there. This pedal has definetely got my attention. Although, most reviews for the shimmer settings sound really high pitched, excessive I would say. I like subtle shimmer as a plus sitting back in the guitar sound. Can the Mercury7 do that, or is it meant just for those synth-like shimmer sounds?
Hi Rodolfo, thanks for your comment and kind words. Since making this video I really dove into the Mercury7. I think that the shimmer is pretty easily controlled with the Vector Mix control in the secondary functions (Alt + Mix knob). I would also venture to guess that a maybe reason some of the demos and reviews can get into the excessive territory is because they aren't going for subtle when showing it off. The Meris shimmer definitely has it's own flavor and liking it or not will be up to personal preference but I do find it useful in subtle ways. Once you get used to the Alt button and secondary functions, the pedal's possibilities really open up. Add in MIDI control and your mind will explode! Haha!
Very nice, sounds like this could be from an Explosions In The Sky album! :-)
Oh man, thanks so much. EITS are really great and this comment makes my day. Thanks for the comparison!
This is probably the most tastefully-done demo of the M7 - thanks!
Thank YOU! I appreciate that greatly. Glad it was helpful/enjoyable.
great demo - thanks heaps for posting! Demos like this helped my buy the pedal!
Thanks so much, Kim! I'm so glad it helped. I think you'll love it. It's seriously something special.
I cant wait to get mine ! Just in time for our holiday gigs.
That is gonna be awesome! I just got the Meris Polymoon delay yesterday. That pedal and the Mercury 7 is a match made in heaven.
love it
Thanks for taking us thru the clean/wet of the effect.

My last question? Does the pedal itself seem sturdy.
@@sennstrato7281 Yes, the pedal is built very well and is in a metal housing that feels very sturdy to me.

Suggestions on a setting for rhythm guitar? Thanks

Chris Dixon Wonderful to know that. I might start saving to get me one haha. Thanks a lot for your help. Best!

So far it sounds better thana BSR
In my opinion, it totally is! Really really enjoying it.
Sounds great!!! Are you running it in stereo?
Thanks so much! Absolutely. My board is usually set up for stereo but I have a summing box as well. Sounds great in stereo or mono.
Have you played the Ventris reverb? If so, could you tell me which has a better quality sound between these 2?
Hey there. I haven't played the Ventris. I haven't used any other reverb pedal since getting the Mercury 7. Sorry I couldn't provide a comparison!
Ventris is way higher quality, and more clear.
