I actually have a list of all my spices taped to the inside door of my cabinet so I know what I have. It keeps me from buying doubles. And sometimes that different looking jar is exactly what I'm looking for. Boom 🎤
I have 8 cupboards and one corner lazy susan drawer. The same area of counterspace minus what the oven and sink take up. There's barely any room for the microwave, coffee maker (miniature), can opener, and air fryer. We had to put my kitchenaid mixer on one of my old side tables on the other side of the dining room. We got a slightly larger apartment but the size of the kitchen downgraded.
The first step that she mentions in other videos is declutter. You cannot organize or reduce one type of visual clutter without overall reducing your inventory of things. If you can’t make room, you’re effectively cherishing at least one thing too much, giving it your energy when it doesn’t deserve to have that power over you. No hate. We almost all have too much. It’s about making the hard choices of what you value enough to keep up the chore of keeping track of and knowing how to store in a visually pleasing way. For me, that may look like one dish brush instead of 5 types but I “cherish” 3 ways to get my dish soap onto dishes, so in the areas I’m “extra” I just go ahead and admit it and make the room. If your appliances take up space where you need to eat, maybe your meal variety is too complex for what you really want out of life.
Guys I have a really small kitchen in my dorm with 1 narrow drawer and in total 2 Cabinets (1/2 under the sink where the bin is as well as one open shelf from maybe 50 cm? There I store my kettle and toaster. And if i have everything cleaned, there is only the dishsoap on my countertop (wich is about 20 cm between the sink and the oventop, over all i would say my kitchencounter is under 2 meters long including my normal sized sink and and oventop) And I am able to apply a lot of those tips. You just have to downsize a bit when you do not have a big kitchen. Instead of a extra space for the oils, I have three oils end vinegars in total. They stand in one of my counters right in the front, and behind there is other food so they are easy to remove, if i need something behind them. Even though I do cook a lot, I try to keep the spices at a bare minimum and try to improvice with mixes. For example the recepie wants oregano, i just use italian spice mix and so on. Tastes a bit different, but never bad. That makes maybe 7 spices all together. I store them all in a box, so I just have to grab the box and take out the necessary ones and store them right back. Not the best solution ever, but the best in an tiny space. In my drawr I have a organiser for my spoons, forks and knives and I put my sharp knives to the normal knives to save space The rest of my utensils are over eachother next to the organiser It is not as pretty, but you can definitely can keep your counters clutter free And use those tips. You just have to make it a bit different.

Oh, no! You're normal 😱 haha. It's fine to want to do things a certain way because you think it's aesthetically pleasing, but the flow and ease of life are far more important 😊
There are ways around that - I did the spice thing with my teas (decant them in all the same jars) but I didn't go out to buy jars, I saved up the jars of a pasta sauce we eat a lot at my house. After a couple of months I had enough jars. Washed them well, made some labels with pen and tape, put the tea in, tadaa! Looks great, didn't cost anything. Same with the 'put soap in a nice(r) dispenser': I found a soap in a dispenser with a nice enough shape, removed the label from it so it's now just see-through, and any new soap goes in the beautified disperser. Maybe it was ten cents more expensive than the soap I normally buy. So yeah, maybe we can't one-to-one copy all of these tips if we don't have much money, but it's still good inspiration, and I bet that a lot of people with lower incomes make up for it with creativity.

For everybody struggling with a small kitchen, if you are able to add shelving anywhere it helps a lot to keep heavy use items close by but off the counters. Of course not everybody can, like renters with really strict landlords, so it can help to buy multifunctional items so you can use them for more than just one specific thing. I also have a small kitchen but love to cook every day, and when I started investing in multifunctional items it helped clear the clutter a lot. Example, I have pyrex tupperware that I can bake things in but also store them in the fridge and freezer or just use as bowls to eat out of.
The problem with your spice rack is finding the spice you want. I had this system and I find I had to remove most of the spices in the front two rows everytime I cook because I use different spices for different recipes. I found it's best to store them in a draw so your looking down at them, with the labels on top of the lids so you can read it. Also, instead of using those huge cord wrappers for the back of your appliances, Amazon sells much smaller ones that aren't so chunky and they work a treat..
I exactly have what you have. It is also in my nearest drawer on the left (I’m indian and i have 35 spices). My friend has these stair types and it is very difficult if you’re short and wanna get the spice kept extremely at the back.
I'm pretty minimalist with kitchen gadgets and I keep all of them in one cabinet also I'm old fashion, my mother it's a professional chef and she taught me to do everything by hand so I don't need to much gadgets.

I cook so much and I'm really short so I can't keep oils/vinegars tucked away lol 😅 or spices for that matter. Having to haul the freaking step stool around for every thing is too much work. Accessibility is important to consider, how often are you reaching to use something. Upper cabinets are the bane of my existence. You turn around and go outside and scream !!!!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Benefit to drawback ratio: you probably wouldn’t feel comfortable with a counter littered with stuff and it feels better less cluttered. Exactly how much less and what feels/looks best may differ from person to person.
Me personally I like to keep counters as storage space to a minimum so I can use it more as a workspace. Also way easier to wipe down when there's less to move out of the way. But like the person above said, everyone has different preferences for it. :)
For me, counters are for chopping and cooking prep, not for clutter! I love having empty counters, it inspires me to get more creative in the kitchen. Love this tips
countertops are used to prep and cook, not store. yes, a bit of things are fine. i have my microwave and my toaster out. i have 6 plants/herbs on the window sill. i don’t have a dishwasher, so there is always something on the drying rack. and i have a fruit bowl. but i want and need space for cooking.
It’s a personal choice As a former hoarder and messy person keeping flat surfaces as free as possible is a game changer . Clutter attracts more clutter . It’s also easier to do a quick wipe down and easier to do projects or cooking with less clutter . I have been living almost clutter free and clean for over 6 years now and whenever I start to place things on flat surfaces and not in a drawer or cabinet it becomes a hot mess real quick . My bathroom sink counter only has a vase and soap dispenser and it stays clean

For people that have really small kitchens, I have a few tips! I have to keep my food pantry stuff combined in my coat hall closet 😂 I use 2 of those 3 cube shelving units & stack food pantry items there. For underneath my kitchen sink, I use those metal locker organizers that they put out during school time to put my pans (4 of them nested inside the other) and then the pots (also 3 nested) below. I use an empty cereal box turned sideways to hold vertically my tinfoil, parchment paper and cling wrap. For another cabinet I use those metal letter organizers in the office suppliers for mail, I use that as a divider for my cutting boards and cookie sheets. I use a utensil holder on my counter because I feel like in a drawer that eats up too much real estate in a small kitchen and plus it’s much easier to grab when cooking. For tools I don’t use regularly like a can opener, lemon juicer, grater, I put those in empty ceramic flower pots underneath the sink in front of where I keep the pots at the bottom. For big things like a blender or crockpot, tbh I put them up in a tall cabinet to reach for on a need basis but I also don’t use those regularly. You could also just put those on top of your fridge if you need the counter space and that works just as well. For measuring cups & spoons, I keep them on the ring they came with and then I hang them on a command hook on the inside of your cabinet door. Sure, it makes a slight jingle when you open your cabinet but it’s easy to access and saves some drawer space. Things such as a spice rack or knife set I think are cute to have on your counter because it shows you cook and are easy to reach for, also saving precious drawer space. I hope any of these tips helped :) -your fellow small kitchen friend
when we did our remodel last November, we were able to make a deeper counter on one wall (and basically put a false wall for the upper cabinets) . My hubby built a door to hide all of the appliances. It is flash with our upper cabinets when is closed but I still have a regular-size counter. I keep my Instant Pot, tea kettle, toaster, can opener, coffee syrups, and Kitchen Aid mixer situated there. By moving the wall a foot into our kitchen also created a space for a mop/broom/stick vacuum closet behind our double oven. I know, I am very lucky with the size of my kitchen
If I did this my husband would ask me where everything is in the kitchen every single day he needs to see everything like spoons in a jar visible on the counter.
I'm a crafter, baker and candlemaker.......I'm constantly using my various baking stuff. So they get hung decoratively on the walls of my kitchen and the hallway to my bathroom which has the pantry and a closet for misc larger crafting supplies. You can use plastic see thru( or labeled) drawers for food colorings, cake/cookie/cupcake decorating supplies. Foil, plastic wrap, parchment and wax paper can be put in wall mounted organizers or wire baskets. Organizer is on Amazon, wire baskets dollar tree type stores...tiny kitchens are awful but there are ways to adapt.
I have 4 cabinets and even have to use my back entry way as a utility room. Food, cleaning supplies, washer, dryer, freezers, and everything else I can possibly put in there. Every wall is nothing but shelves if it doesnt have an appliance. I say again, wish I had more room like this house.

@@whattheschmidt definitely. In our house we have a 3 tier rack installed in a cabinet that pulls out and down from the with spices. It’s so handy.
@@goph21 that does sound awesome. Where did you buy it, or did you make it yourselves?
Or have someone come in while youu are in hospital and think they are going to clean your kitchen that was perfectly clean
And arrange your vintage spices that are in real tin containers that you were given to by your Mother
And throw them away they were dry spices?????? You turn around and go outside and scream !!!!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
And/or what are the spices back there? 🤔🤔
My ADHD brain is tired just from watching you do this.
LMAO I have adhd too and I was just shaking my head the entire time like no no no please stop this looks like a literal nightmare 😭
Why?
so I have all these counters just to never put anything on them? some of these are nice but all in all it feels a little overkill
It’s a personal choice
As a former hoarder and messy person keeping flat surfaces as free as possible is a game changer .
My bathroom sink counter only has a vase and soap dispenser and it stays clean
i wish i had such a big kitchen 😩 mine is like 30-40% of yours and we are three adults.
I feel it. Family of five with a less than one butt kitchen. We have 3 drawers period. Two upper cabinets and two lower. We have to get creative.
Not everyone has that many cabinets Sharon
Then don't use the tips. No issue found. 😊
@@OmANnIe they’re not tips; it’s just her showing off how rich she is.
Where’d you get that tray your kitchen soap and brushes are on? I love that! I need that lol
I would like to know that, too!
@@nanmn9050 Ya know, She admittedly Shops Amazon A Lot, a lot a lot lol 😂 I’m sure it’s made from High End material too. Maybe we can check her TikTok and see if She posts links to her fav things? 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve been following her for Years, when she was just starting out. I know she uses what She recommends! She’s not one of those brain dead influencers! lol
@jennifer Found it!
@@nanmn9050 Yay! That’s fantastic! where? If Amazon can you reply with the company name and a quick description? I’m pretty sure YT does let us post links. But thanks for telling me you found it! That was straight up very cool of you
@jennifer I posted the Amazon link but it looks like it got deleted. The name of the item is Happitasa Silicone Sink Organizer.
I simply can not believe how great your kitchen remodel turned out! It’s absolutely stunning! I almost can’t picture what your old one looked like lol Well done!
Ohh, how sweet, her best friend responded!
All this stuff about colors being “too bright” and “ruining the esthetics” coming from the person with Shrek colored cabinets 🤣💀 a whole mess
😂😂😂💯
It's called an accent color and part of her aesthetic and all those other colors of products clash with the green so no, not a whole mess?
The dark green is Shrek? I think it's lovely. Man people are always so quick to be ugly to one another.
It's what's trending rn with the rich 😵💫
Love the cabinets. The rest of the kitchen needs more color.
Neat ideas, but imo that kitchen looks kinda cold and lifeless.
She just remodeled it to her taste… we aren’t all alike… do you really need to be so mean?
For me the first rule is always "dont see it, won't use it." Clutter is actually import for me to function and at this point im even considering taking off the cabinet doors. These tips are great and are always interesting to watch mostly because i can see and/or recognize when things will work for me and when they wont.
Maybe you're just a visual organizer? Us hidden organizers can make y'all feel messy, when you're just wired differently. Cas from Clutterbug has a whole breakdown on the different types.
@@HalfBlindPlans oh im definitly wired differently, i have adhd so thats why being able to see everything is so important to me. But that does sound interesting, i will check it out. ^^
Safety first! ⚠️Careful keeping electrical cords coiled when in use, as this can cause them to arc
Y'all! Not everyone's brain is programmed to handle this minimalist aesthetic. And that's ok! If you need appliances and spatulas out in order to access (or even remember) them, that's perfectly fine!
I am changing my bottles out in the soap and sponges!!! It will make it as pretty as yours!! Thank U 4 sharing. I REDUCED the clutter in my kitchen, it made a difference, this will be the answer!!!!
I am actually thinking about finally trying the dish soap one. I especially hate how when it almost gets empty it falls over all the time. This will stop that, plus it looks nicer.
You can't see how much is left when it's in opaque containers.
@@joan-annebross9217 lol that is my EXACT issue. I went out and bought it and now I am annoyed that I can't see how much is left, and it doesn't squirt as easily as a bottle. Actually, I just have it sitting here and still just use a bottle anyway. 😆 So I like a lot of her ideas but this one was an impulse I wish I didn't act on.
I love your sponge/brush holder. I wonder where I can find one.
the dollar store
Girl I'm not gonna spend like 30 dollars on dish washing utensils. I just care if they work.
I have a dispenser for hand soap and dish soap. Love it. I don't use a neutral kind but something that adds some personality.
"Here in my giant kitchen, there's not just a spot for everything, but room for secondary bottles, too. Problem solved." -this lady
Everything looks so goooood, but those spice jars at the back are giving me anxiety 😅 how do you take them out without moving everything at the front?
I Love the appliance garage! Great ideas! 👍
I just fell for the "appliance garage"... lol 😁😎😍
Jokes on you my aesthetic thrives on bright colors and functional messiness!!!!!!! /HJ
Not mine. I can't think straight in a place like that
@@adararelgnel2695 Well, I'm sorry you have to clean so often then lol/J

Some things vaguely satisfying, others, massive ADHD anxiety.

“An appliance garage.”
Lol girl don’t nobody got that kind of money lol.
It's honestly not that expensive to DIY
when we did our remodel last November, we were able to make a deeper counter on one wall (and basically put a false wall for the upper cabinets) .
Great Hacks 💯🌟💜🌟💯
If I did this my husband would ask me where everything is in the kitchen every single day he needs to see everything like spoons in a jar visible on the counter.
So you want me to remove my junk out of my kitchen drawer to place utensils in it 😆
Another brilliant quick one!
This genuinely was helpful the chord wrappers are amazing
Also have a billion dollars to do all the amazing ideas 👍🏻 It looks beautiful though.
Step 1: quit sharing your kitchen with 3 people and build a whole new big one
I love the duckies on the Dawn bottle!
Love your content ❤️ It's like you are reading my mind
I'm so tired of ppl tryna show their fancy stuff by disguising it as some sort of interior decor/decluttering tip 😒
All great ideas good job👍👌✌️
That appliance “garage” is exactly what I need but didn’t know until now. Thank you! 🙏
I love the backup extras spice bin, and the appliance garage !!
❤ Thank You for always sharing and caring! Grateful viewer 😊
“Put them in your closest drawer” my kitchen has 1 drawer and 3 cabinets.
I’m starting to think my problem is more just a small kitchen
Alll your stuff are so well organized. I got a few ideas from these great tips. Thank you so much. 🌹🌹
Some things I already do, and some you know you need to do, thanks!
I love the idea of an appliance garage. Awesome!!!!
I have 4 cabinets and even have to use my back entry way as a utility room. Food, cleaning supplies, washer, dryer, freezers, and everything else I can possibly put in there. Every wall is nothing but shelves if it doesnt have an appliance. I say again, wish I had more room like this house.
LOOOVE the appliance garage!
The cord wraps are genius
Love how clean it is ❤.
I love the appliance garage!!
That lil “garage” is so cool!
you don't know how satisfying this is ❤️
Girl you know some of this didn't work in your old kitchen 😭💗😅
These are great tips! Love it!
Yes yes yes!! I do these except all the same jars for spices and the appliance garage. An appliance garage in on my. Massive wish list for my home.
Thanks your advice is great & your kitchen looks beautiful and orderly !! 😁
Agree I keep cooking utensils on my counter next to my cook top beaus I have no drawer near my oven or cook top, and same for the oils
These were great tips. Very useful.
