A great way to ease into my Sunday, with coffee in hand. My brother and I would watch all those 'Creature Feature/Double Features' on Saturdays growing up. 'Black Lagoon' we never missed. Thanks for sharing your week, Mark! Really enjoying this new series. 😎🎶
Frosty Blue Lemonade looks delicious! I have that Sinead and love it. The Zombies and Lennon mind games would be great to have. Excellent Tuesday footage! Glad your house didn’t get leveled. The eyeliner looked striking on you Mark. Great news on visit from your daughter.
Thanks, Shawn! I have to turn off the fans and air conditioner when I record because they are noisy. So I was sweating like crazy and suddenly felt like doing an ad for what I was drinking. I'm looking forward to Luxy's visit!
Is a cool series! Creature from the Black Lagoon is an important movie to me. My dad took me to see it during a rerelease in the 80s when I was a kid. Years later I got to take my dad to see it as an adult when we had an Alamo Drafthouse here. And Julie Adams! Hubba hubba!
That's a great story, Scott! I wish I could have seen it on the big screen. My dad did not like monster movies unless Abbot and Costello were in it. I did get to see Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein on the big screen at a horror art exhibit once, though. Julie Adams was a knockout in this movie!
I heard Odyssey and Oracle for the first time last year. One of the people in my swimming cabal is a grip. He's a fascinating guy. Interesting retrospective. I have not (yet) read Infinite Jest. I may do so at some point.
I've not finished Infinite Jest, yet, either! I am hoping their discussion inspires me to give it another shot. I've at least dug it out again, and so that's a start. I am sure I was the worst grip in history! He had to keep calling me back to set because I would be outside talking to other people. I was a little surprised how boring film making was. I suppose if you were part of the cast and perfecting your craft, it would be more interesting.
Wall to wall classics on the records, Mark! Never understand why Mind Games gets such a bad reception… Bring On the Lucie is easily one of JLs best songs. I’m a massive horror movie fan and grew up on Hammer movies. When my dad got home from work, he’d give me the newspapers and I’d always scour the tv pages for any horror movies that were on. 😂 Fantastic bit of Alice Cooper there! Going above and beyond there, Mark 😂
Thanks, Jack! I have a huge horror/sci-fi movie collection on VHS, DVD, and Blu-Ray collection. Lots of Hammer Horror, of course! The Alice Cooper was a lot of fun, even thought it scared my dog!
I’ve always wanted that Zombies album for the cover art, but it is a really great album. Raw Power is one of those iconic albums that I have never listened to. Be quiet!!!!! I love SINEAD!!!!! You bought a lot of records!!! The Lennon punch went to the Raw Power record. Commercials! That soda looked refreshing but was a strange unnatural color. OK, I need to steal that Creature board. Check your house if I ever visit you!!! I don’t have that Monsters magazine - it’s beautiful. A gaffer’s gopher! WOW - Satanic notoriety. Another thing to steal - those monster bottles! You know all the hammer women - there was a lot of boob showing! I don’t know how I feel about that. That Elsa pic is great. There’s a really handsome guy that keeps popping up. EEE - too much rain.
All the Hammer women were buxom! I think that was a requirement for the films. I did a full 14 minutes of this video and then realized I did not have the mic plugged in. That was bad enough, but I have to turn all my cooling devices off when I record because they are ridiculously loud. I was so damn hot while recording, I actually did a wardrobe change because my first shirt became too damp with sweat! Anyway, I wish my first take would have worked, because there were spontaneous moments when Elsa decided to visit the set and I had more patience with the heat. When I had to re-record that 14 minutes, my mood was plummeting and I was on the verge of heat stroke. I think that comes through! Anyway, thanks for always supporting my channel. That commercial was spontaneous as I was drinking blue lemonade.
@@MarkMorris-1962 don’t tell me you got all hot and sweaty!!! 👅(is that inappropriate? lol). Note: Next time add some of those moments as outtakes! I just let my fan run and my lighting is all jacked up. I discovered I need better lighting and sound, especially when I use my computer for livestreams. Sorry about your frustrations but the end result is fabulous! Waaay better than my vids. Do I need to step up my game? No!!!
@@garagegeek4863 That outtakes idea is gold! I may do that next time. I'm still a novice at this editing game, but I am starting to pick some things up. Your game is just fine.
My comments part two….walking in from of the construction workers with eyeliner - you might’ve left with a date!!! Lilly grabbing the beer! lol. Don’t eat chicken, please. LOL
I wave bye-bye to Elsa as I am walking to my car each morning for work. Those construction workers look like they want to kill me when they witness that. I think seeing me in eyeliner, even if it was Alice Cooper eyeliner, might have been tempting the fates.
With Sinead, I think it sort of matters when you're introduced to her. The first time I heard this album, I was in the perfect place in life to hear it. So, there may be an emotional attachment there, too. I'll definitely be giving the Zombies record more spins!
I'm really enjoying these Mark, feels like we're keeping in touch through these!
Thanks, Ann! I kinda thought the same thing.
Thanks for the shout out Mark, Odyssey is so good, This Will Be Our Year is a song I want played whenever I get married!
@@samstjohn1994 Beautiful song for your wedding day, Sam. ❤️
This is a nice idea for a weekly video, great work my friend 😊
Thank you so much, Dave! Always happy to see you here.

Another good one! Loved the rain drive thru. that wind was crazy holy!
Thanks, Jack! A very stormy week, for sure!
I like this concept, Mark. A nice freestyle rundown of your week. I chuckled when you mentioned Steve's fondness for redheads.
Thanks, Rich! I just thought Steve might appreciate Ms. Smith.

Great bunch of albums! I’ve heard about that Zombies album for years. I need to give it a listen.
Thanks, Doug! I was thinking I might be the only one in the VC who hadn't heard it.

Now that I think about it, you’re pensive every time I see you….you must be deep.
Odyssey and Oracle is a great album. I thought Sinead O’Connor’s album was decent.
