This was the first blues band I ever saw live, and I can't imagine a better introduction to the blues. I saw Luther Tucker, who sings and plays guitar on this song, which he wrote, many times - in Calif. with Cotton, Charlie Musselwhite, and John Lee Hooker, and in various combinations at Antone's in Austin. He was truly one of the greatest and most original blues guitarists of all time - the definition of an unsung hero.
Have you ever felt your heart beat Baby to the rhythm of falling rain Have you ever felt your heart beat Baby to the rhythm of falling rain Then, you fallen on your knees and cried Please send her back again I'm some lonesome Babe I'm in this world alone I'm some lonesome Baby I'm in this world alone Well I've been so broke and lonesome ever since my baby's been gone How you ever sat and cried Watched the rain come falling down How you ever sat and cried Watched the rain come falling down Then, you don't look by? your baby Because you know she ain't around How you ever sat and cried watched the rain coming falling down How you ever sat and cried watched the rain coming falling down Then, you don't look by your baby Because you know she ain't be found
I had this album. I bought it in the summer of 1968...

Hello
I like this song
I want to know the lyrics of this song
Thank you...
Have you ever felt your heart beat
Baby to the rhythm of falling rain
Have you ever felt your heart beat
Baby to the rhythm of falling rain
Then, you fallen on your knees and cried
Please send her back again
I'm some lonesome
Babe I'm in this world alone
I'm some lonesome
Baby I'm in this world alone
Well I've been so broke and lonesome ever since my baby's been gone
How you ever sat and cried
Watched the rain come falling down
How you ever sat and cried
Watched the rain come falling down
Then, you don't look by? your baby
Because you know she ain't around
How you ever sat and cried
watched the rain coming falling down
How you ever sat and cried
watched the rain coming falling down
Then, you don't look by your baby
Because you know she ain't be found
