- To celebrate 40 years since the release of Patti Smith's seminal album HORSES Courtney Barnett, Jen Cloher, Adalita and Gareth Liddiard performed two tribute shows at the Melbourne Town Hall on Sunday the 18th of October 2015.

Yep very very disgusting of the government; same travesty in Brisbane coopting culturally significant sites and taking our taxes into a profit making org of "false go....ds"; What did Jesus say about marketplaces and the like but hey Im riffing on the sacrilege everywhere in this world today but in the country and in our culture it is a disgrace
This is not festival hall it is the melbourne town hall... but ya know they better back off.. Festival Hall is the sacred site ; Sinatra, Skyhooks, The killers, Sammy Davis, Cocker, Bowie wasn't it? Yes and now HS.. well this is a different venue but yeah they better back off especially when the property council are so well rep in the once fair city

Just awful .....I'm sure they tried but it just doesn't work and it's good but when you live in NYC and see the real thing over the course of 30 years. This sounds like an elevator version of a masterpiece
