    The imagery of God crying shameful tears over the cruelty of these acts is one of the most powerful things I've ever heard. All I could think when this ended was "Amen".

    Until now, I have only cried at one video. This poem is just... I can't even put it into words. Thank you Ms. Gibson. You are an amazing person for this.

    After Orlando, everyone needs to listen to this a million times. We will never forget, and we will never stop fighting. "I was born into this casket, but I wouldn't pull the splinters from my heart any more than Christ would pull the thorns from His crimson head."

    This poem is amazing. In fact, every poem by Andrea Gibson is immaculate in my opinion, but this one topped it.

    I only just learned about this woman and she is amazing. This is one of the most moving poems I have ever heard, and the way she reads it is full of such power.

    It's unbelievable that there are enough stories, true stories out there that she can form a poem about it. Why is the world like this?

    While I get what you're saying, please don't generalize. Many churches support lgbt peoples. I am Christian. My God doesn't care about a person's sexual orientation.

    Because Jesus loves you, and if you doubt that unconditional love because of the homophobia of his church, his followers will make you regret it.
    That's why.

  • @VenusAD
    @VenusAD 11 років тому

    Technically speaking, most christian organized churches are heretical, if we're actually going with the exact words of the Bible.
    And I don't actually have a church. I follow Jesus' teachings, because Jesus is awesome. All that other stuff is unecessary.
