While I get what you're saying, please don't generalize. Many churches support lgbt peoples. I am Christian. My God doesn't care about a person's sexual orientation.
Because Jesus loves you, and if you doubt that unconditional love because of the homophobia of his church, his followers will make you regret it. That's why.
Technically speaking, most christian organized churches are heretical, if we're actually going with the exact words of the Bible. And I don't actually have a church. I follow Jesus' teachings, because Jesus is awesome. All that other stuff is unecessary.
