@@_Moki__ there's not a single upgrade in f1, that makes a difference of 1.2 seconds. maybe one or two tenths, but not so much.
Kubica was just horrible in hungary. russel was fighting with other midfield drivers while kubica was allways last.
There's no reason to give your two drivers two different cars. Stop with that bullshit conspiracy theories. the even swapped chassis this season and russel was still way faster.
Kubica does not belong to f1 right now. he lost his pace.

Sainz definitely made the right decision by moving to McLaren.
I think it was his only choice, with the Ricciardo move pushing him out of Renault. Alonso retired at the perfect time for his fellow Spaniard.

Wasn’t he also up for Red Bull since he was still under contract w/ them? I’m guessing they ultimately chose Pierre bec. of his Honda experience. And a good choice that is.😉

@@dominicc2941 it probably was, and I'm sure ultimately it'd be up to Marko and Horner to decide, but I also remember reading "somewhere on the internet" that his decision to go to McLaren was the catalyst for Gasly going to Red Cow and if Sainz wanted it bad enough they probably would give it to him. But then again, internet forums can always be misleading.

I really liked this “behind the scenes” style video. Shows how everyone gets along with everyone....except Mercedes who are the kids that are too cool for everyone. I like the synergy between Carlos and Lando, they actually seem to get on well with each other.
and I just love the atmosphere inside the team
Been watching F1 since early 90s and never been a fan of any particular team/driver except Williams/Hill and McLaren/Hakkinen. Maybe coming from racing Formulas in iRacing I'm biased but Carlos and especially Lando are a breath of fresh air in the sport, looks like they're mates and really enjoying themselves and the whole team follows, never seen such a chemistry all around!
Call me a a McLaren fan now!

Sainz really improved this season. I wasn't convinced to his skills, but this season he does a really good job.
He found his sweet spot and is one of the funniest drivers on the grid

Isn't it incredible how mclaren has changed their team atmosphere in just a year?
They have stopped to say silly things on the media (like they have the best chassis out there, or that they were going to race for victories), stop blaming the engine manufacturer, opening up and showing more of the human aspect of the team instead of jerkimg themselves with the "good old days".
Do you think that Fernando's exit have something to do with it?

@@teresasch3734 EXACTLY!!! A perfect example of how the atmosphere can change the hole thing:
Two years ago, they gave some chocolate as a "reward" for the work and the staff was angry about it because they wanted real gratitude and not just bad-managed acts.
Nowadays, that same thing would be material for a new video (maybe a tour at mclarens facilities giving candies to all employees), and it would be better communicated and understood by the staff AND the general public!!
