to be fair, calories matters more than quality of food if it’s purely for weight loss. not healthy of course but weight loss is simple thermodynamics. try to be healthy and lose weight is another thing

he looses multiple pounds of sweat a race, plus the physical exertion of the exercises they go through, it doesn’t really matter what he eats as long as he’s still eating healthy most of the time

Seriously though, McLaren seems to be an extremely positive work environment, whereas Ferrari is pretty hostile. I'm seriously worried Ferrari will suck the happiness out of Sainz after some time.
@@julus2722 Yes, seeing how indifferent and disillusioned Vettel seems at every race I bet Sainz is taking all the "precautions" required. I mean every session the conversation is like this:
Vettel:"The car isn't behaving very well."
Pit crew:"We know."
Vettel:"We still need to fix this issue..."
Pit crew:"Yes, we know..."
Not even a "well done" or "we'll fix it for you".
Such conversation will make any driver lose their faith in the team or their ability to help things get better.
Sainz most likely knows this and hopes he won't get a similar treatment if that car isn't any good.

Yeah, it shows how much he care :), lot of effort from himself and the team so it hit him hard.
Sad to see, but that's also why we love sports and I believe he will come back stronger cause of it.

It is so clear from these videos each week that the Mclaren team is one big family. Very different from the atmosphere seen in other teams like ferrari and red bull.
Even if they don't win tons of podiums, Mclaren has, almost unarguably, the best team dynamic in Formula 1 currently. They give off the vibe of being a huge group of friends coming out to race. Lando got me into the sport, and watching all these unboxed episodes makes me just love the Mclaren team as a whole. The friendship between Lando and Carlos is just amazing.
I love that Andreas is a cuddler and always checks in with the drivers!

Carlos' season feels a lot like Lando's from last year, where something always seems to go wrong and it's not even his fault.
Totally, it just feels so unfortunate.
Let's hope for less accidents for them in the re-race.

You can definitely see how much losing P4 meant to Carlos, shows how much he cares and how much he stays committed to the team despite leaving next year. It’s so nice to see a team that works so hard and yet seems so chill outside of the race. Im sure Carlos will get a race that’s worthy of his commitment to the team soon, and will reward both Mclaren and himself for his hard work

I'm a vettel-fan since 2010, but last year i saw this young british guy (lando). He is a sunny-boy and brings the most time good vibes. It's a pitty that carlos will leave mc laren, but i think daniel ricciardo and lando will be a dream team. These two guys are the funniest drivers.

I'm going to miss this driver duo. This is a fun series to watch. I enjoy watching the interactions among all the team members.
I've only been an F1 fan a couple years. Early last year I chose McLaren as "my" team because they're the only real "team" in F1. Carlos and Lando's friendship told me all I needed to know about you guys. I once posted begging you to keep them together as close to forever as possible. I have a feeling Carlos will often miss this...and probably already does. We all saw what Charles did to Seb at their home race plus all the rest of the gamesmanship and just negative feeling over there. The red lady seduced our awesome driver. I hope she doesn't consume the awesome person too. The point of this post though is I'm not leaving you. If I could pick one driver to fill Carlos's coming void, it would definitely be the one you chose. Please help him genuinely bond with Lando like Carlos did. Whatever you did early that set that in motion so well, please attempt to do that again. And, thank you Lando and Zack for that moment when Lando jumped into Zack's arms. Sharing that moment with you two from my home in Orlando, was amazing. Seeing pure joy, love and pride like that was actually overwhelming and filled my heart. Keep THAT love going please. Maybe keep developing more of your own little simple traditions like special team chants or pre-race ritual group cheers where one person gets honored with a turn leading your own special team designed cheer. They really do feel amazing. Some of us get even more fired up and focused when we do those kind of things that have ZERO to do with paychecks or performance reviews. It seems there must already be a lot of this in the McLaren lore and culture. You're already the team everybody wishes they were. Yes, including Mercedes. Yes, including Carlos soon. :/ Please always keep giving him love when he's wearing red. He helped me pick you. To everyone there, especially the management and ownership who understood and made the choices to make McLaren so much fun to "feel", not watch "feel", thank you. I stumbled randomly into the F1 universe a couple years ago when I wasn't even a racing fan before...and here I am writing this to you. You stood out to me quickly not for your future (your clearly climbing racing arc), or for your past (your winning history), but for your positive chemistry. Please remember those like me when the bandwagon keeps flooding over from elsewhere as your success assuredly continues to grow. Remember us by remembering yourselves. It's the respect and appreciation for each other that a careful eye and ear clearly sees that you are all about. To me, they are why you are truly the best team in F1. Shhhhhh... don't tell Carlos to ever tell the red team that these are why they're not. It's corny for some of us to say it out loud but I believe your improvement arc is based on your culture of "love" and the joy of being part of it. It sure makes me feel fortunate to be a crazy "McLaren-ac." These results this year feel amazing to watch but it's the joy I've seen in your team that makes it a million times better. Please keep the joy, ESPECIALLY when the success grows or even in slides that always happen in life. If you stay you, neither success nor challenges will harm this amazing thing called McLaren. If nobody there ever reads this, I understand. I just had to write this down. I truly love your (my) team, McLaren. Stay who you are now please. Keep this magical internal thing going. The results are amazing for me to see but because I LIKE your team's way of being. I personally believe the results will always be within your arm's reach if you keep this magical family thing as the main goal. You're showing anyone watching the real recipe for success which also handles the hurdles, a positive culture. Alas poor Carlos, we knew him well. God he's gonna miss his real home. Farewell Carlos, but not too well Smooth Operator. ;) Virtual high five to all of you involved. You are the best! :)
