A new Karuwa pillar weighing 790 kg and height 10.5 feet placed at the zero point in Chainpur Bazar of Sankhuwasabha.
Some time ago, the column became controversial because the shape of the Karuwa that was placed did not match.
Thank you to everyone involved including the local youth who are leading in the restoration of this Karuwa pillar which reflects the identity of Chainpur.
