I had the light come on and pumped up my tyres. I asked the garage to look at them when they serviced the car as the light was still on. Long and short they had no idea what they were on about and said it should reset itself. A week later I tried this and it worked, this light will no longer be the bane of my morning drive 😂💪🏽. Thank you

Genuinely thank you for this video, I'd read a load of nonsense about how to do it and absolutely none of it worked. A normal bloke makes a video simply explaining it and fixed it straight away!

I tried this on my 2010 320d and it worked until the part where you pushed the BC button 5 times - it didn't for me just kept going back to menu. I repeated the first 2 steps then instead of pushing BC 5 times i pushed and held it once (holding in for a couple of seconds) it then showed the reset with a tick after it (like in your video after 5 pushes). Then I pressed BC once more and it reset. Hope that helps anyone who had the difference I did 😄

Thanks! Mine was slightly different; Instead of 5 presses I just had to hold it down until it switched. 2007 318i.
Worked on my 330i, but was slightly different, it said ‘INIT’ instead of reset but worked similarly
In some cases the engine must be running in order to get reset option below the warning tyre sign. If its igntion only (no enigne running) then you just have cc id 63 error code.

Got a question bud- if for example you pump tyres up. Lets say not fully to what thyr meant to be. Then if you reset it. Will that mean it wont come back on? Or it will due to them still being low?

Worked perfectly for me had to hold in the bc button for 5 seconds instead of pressing it 5 times so thanks do you have a link to all your bmw videos and thanks for the help

I see in your video you had that wee triangle beside the mileage? I have it too and it bugs me, I see since you did this it took the triangle away, how did you get it off?

I got this warning yesterday, went to check preasure but it was perfect. Any clue why this might turn on for other reasons? I know 1 of my tyres are unbalanced.
thanks it work. after resetting I drove around the block and turned off.
To anyone else who had this not quite work out for them, get it to the point of it saying “resetting” and drive. I read my owners manual and it turns out it needs to “calibrate” while driving and then the light will eventually go away. Essentially, it needs to say “resetting”, you start driving around a bit, then it will say “Reset ✅” and you’re good to go

Just bought an E90 preowned & it has this same sign. Tires soon to be just fine. If I reset without refilling aire & it still needs air on one of the tires will it still stay on and continue to warn me until I do or will it go away & the service still might need Siro & now I won’t know anymore?

Try on INIT, it was working on mine :)
God AKk Same with me. You just go to INIT click once then hold it till the check comes up then click and it should clear or what I did was shut the car off and on again.

hi I've just got front tires fitted and the light appeared, I've tried resetting it but it keeps coming back. Any ide what the issue might be ?
I filled my tires to the psi listed under the door jamb and nothing changed. It also wouldn't let me reset with this method. It's a 2015 BMW x1 and the screen between the gauges says all tires are low.
May this be a blown fuse or maybe a busted sensor ? If it's something very simple I would rather handle it

Just to add, press and keep the reset stalk button down until the tick comes up, does the same job as pressing it several times.

Done the same process but not getting a tick in that little box. So fault code is still there. Only happened since had rear tyres changed

Hi, i don't have init option only reset, i press it and nothing happens, if i press BC again, going out of menu and also nothing happens. Tried to hold it for few seconds, also nothing happened. Any idea? E87 2005 no idrive
Now I'm stuck with the car on the ramp warning light .This one just doesn't want to reset ! Maybe a brake pad sensor ,it's just wierd that it light up only after I've reset everything

The service warning light when you put your key in is a reminder that your car needs a service. Sometimes its just that it wasn't reset when the last service was completed (as it was in my case). Other times your car just needs a service. I will be making some more videos about this in future, so please stay tuned.

I have the bc button but no switch just the check button too .. I press the bc and nothing and then same with the check one …
I have same lights but dont remove from dashtbord?
