I don't know if this is true, but if it is. America you guys really think seperate children from their own parents is good?
The irresponsible parents who dragged their children across the desert on a perilous journey need to be placed into ADULT HOLDING FACILITIES until they can be vetted, if that's even possible at all. Also while the U.S. government tries to figure out whether or not the child they've brought with them belongs with them at all.
Often the child is being brought in for human labor or sex trafficking, or the child is a rape victim of the adult that brought them here.
Children cannot be placed into the adult holding facilities with the adults. That is why they are separated.
In your country, are the children put in jail with their parents, when the parents do something illegal?

"In a pilot program, approximately 30% of rapid DNA tests of immigrant adults who were suspected of arriving at the southern border with children who weren't theirs revealed the adults were not related to the children, an official involved in the system's temporary rollout who asked to be anonymous in order to speak freely told the Washington Examiner Friday.
"There's been some concern about, 'Are they stepfathers or adopted fathers?'" the official said. "Those were not the case. In these cases, they are misrepresented as family members."

I'm a huge fan of Madam Secretary and almost binged my way through almost five seasons of the show in just a couple of months (almost binged). Until I reached this episode. The problem with the way this was presented was so biased and slanted against a) US immigration policy and b) law enforcement, I had to stop watching it. What are my credentials, you ask? Well, I live within a two hour drive of the Texas border (Del Rio) and just a few hours more away from the southern tip of Texas (Brownsville). Additionally, I have scads of family and friends in law enforcement and I pay attention to news other than MSM. A lone woman and child crossing the border after nightfall is a pretty unlikely scenario. The traffickers bring people across in droves and charge enormous sums to bring them to a place they can cross. So, for this woman to show up on some random US highway was pure Hollywood. Next, the lack of compassion shown by the officers in the show was totally wrong and misleading -- as well as planting a biased idea in the heads and minds of viewers. Most of the people working law enforcement at the border, whether customs, ICE, or sheriff's offices, are family members themselves. And, it's totally inaccurate to paint a picture of them being heartless monsters.
You want to know what has traditionally been happening to illegal entrants to the US across our southern border? They're arrested, booked, assigned an arraignment date, and them usually put on a bus to go to San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas, or some other US City where they're released into the general public, never to be heard from again. THAT is why there are anyplace from 11 to 20 million undocumented people living in the US.
The liberal, left wing bias of the producers and writers of the show have just about lost a viewer, and I'll have to see whether or not I can stomach watching the entire two episode treatment of this topic. Or whether I'll have to switch to watching old John Wayne movies endlessly.

@@conspiracytheorista8988 well... usually get my tv on my own schedule and through Netflix, where commercial interruptions are limited or non-existent. although I think that watching several seasons, every single episode, would qualify as a tv watcher, despite the platform. so, are you really a conspiracy theorist(a) or just pretending? I ask because I adhere to some pretty non-conformist conspiracy theories myself.
@@monitor1862 One thing I have always been able to say about my political leanings was that they have never, ever been represented by either party in toto. And, while you might have assumptions about what I do or don't believe, or what I would or wouldn't have a problem with as far as a character's script had him or her say... as factual history: 1) I was a fan of Bill Clinton and Al Gore. 2) I was a fan of Hillary when she ran against Obama. 3) I was very upset with the Republicans and their witch hunt against President Clinton, even as I was upset with the Democrats with their dogged pursuit (and waste of taxpayers' money) of Richard Nixon, and even as I was upset with the Republicans and their resistance to universal healthcare. 4) open borders are a mistake, but even going back to the time of King Solomon, craftsmen were allowed to travel from country to country to ply their trade - particularly stone masons (so I'm told, I could be misinformed). And, migrant farm workers have been the backbone of American agribusiness for a long time, and until automated processes can take their place, migrant workers will continue to be needed. 5) Work visas and some sort of accountability is critical for any country to maintain balance. Residents who are not citizens must either be provided with a way to citizenship where they will NOT become a financial burden on the system, OR, they must be provided with some way to at least contribute to the system via taxes. So, if any of this supports or disabuses your assumptions about my stance or beliefs or potential reaction to a tv show, then happy to have helped you out.

The six dead children you're crying about are dead because their IRRESPONSIBLE parents took them on a perilous journey across a barren wasteland either carrying disease WITH THEM, or with inadequate food, water, and shelter.
Their responsible-for-their-deaths PARENTS DID THIS because the Democrat party that you no doubt vote for insists on luring them here for their VOTES.
When the TRUMP administration separates families to discourage this type of activity, or to try and determine that the children are actually with their OWN PARENTS, (many are not) they're doing a FAR better job than the Oblabla administration, who separated "families" as well.
The Oblabla administration, so DESPERATE for votes, actually stopped vetting the people within the US that they were sending UAC's to IN ANY WAY. They simply shipped the children to WHOEVER claimed them. No home visit, no fingerprinting, NO BASIC CHECK whatsoever. All that was in place, and then the order came down around 2013 to STOP that essential vetting.
Many kids with completely different NAMES were all sent to the same person!!! The definition of how to identify a trafficker, and the Oblabla administration did it to those children ANYWAY.
The "sponsors" were even permitted to REFUSE FOLLOW UP VISITS to check on the children! No problem, said Oblabla and his cronies.
UNTOLD NUMBERS of children came into this country to be sold into sex trafficking and/or slave labor in factory farms across the US.

THAT'S WHY THIS is the DEFINITION of propaganda. It's designed to cause anger at TRUMP's administration, when Oblabla's admin. did SO MUCH worse. No TV shows were made (though there is a PBS documentary about it), and no CNN or MSNBC reports, because they're all on the same damn team... and when they tell you to be angry, you are. When they tell you everything's ok, you smile and believe it is.
