HA I did the same thing with my TUX Easter Sunday, 1 hour ride turned into a 2 hour ride very quickly. We actually had a really nice day out here on Long Island.
@@MattsMotorcycleDaily Only worthwhile place to ride is the Eastern end of the Island, North and South Fork have some pretty nice, albeit short roads. Personally I am trying to get off the Island for some riding, perhaps CT and Upstate NY. Although I am finding myself thinking I will need something with a little more grunt than the mighty TUX. The TUX is the perfect bike for where I am now, Eastern Long Island. Looking at Triumph Speed Twin 900.
Hey wait a minute, your right, I just walked out to my bike and even with a push no speedo, I may have a broken cable….thank you, will update in a day or so when I figure out the exact issue. Symptoms in case anyone knows off hand: I brought the bike out from winter, fueled it up, reset trip odo, and off I went. After a bit of research I read the winter can either freeze the cable and cause deterioration and or have water in the rubber which will cause cable to rust. Thanks again, will update soon.
