This song played on the radio after my mom told my great grandfather he didn't have to hold on for her anymore. I was 3 years old. I'm 25 now and we play this for him every year
omgsh.. my allergies are coming
@@dreamteamneal awe! Thanks!
These emotional ones always hit you, but it is a great song and as usual, I enjoyed your reaction.
Thank you so much for this reaction. I always enjoy your reactions so very much. Steve Wariner has been one of my favorites for decades. When Steve was only 17 years old country music star Dottie West recruited him to play bass guitar in her band. I Met him twice at concerts between 1988-1990. He was very gracious and appreciative to his fans. He is a master guitar player and also songwriter, as well as having a beautiful voice.
Some more of his hits are:
The Weekend
Life's Highway
Two Teardrops-Live 1998 ACM
You Can Dream of Me
Small Town Girl
Some Fools Never Learn
Thanks again for everything you do for your Dream Team. ❤
This song tears me up my boys lost their grandma my mom when they were that young I have a big family I’m the baby so when her baby had babies she went crazy for them in her passing their pictures were on her car key key ring she would watch them for us all the time boy this is hard to write and listen to the reaction I told my kids to listen to this song just for that , she is watching so when it rains just remember 😢 yep remember they are watching 🥺😢🙏🏼
I love this song. My oldest grandson is 4 and I think of him when I hear this song cause we have such a close relationship
I hear the first notes of this song on the radio, I have to pull over. I ugly-cry whenever I hear it, but I can't change the station.
This song makes me cry every single time I hear it. My mom loved nothing more than being a grandmother and my son loved her. She died when he was 8 and when he got married a couple of years ago, this song kept playing in my head, and yes, it rained that day. 💗
The part in the song about the 7 year old and his grandma, that is pretty much my story. In the middle of my 7th year of life my grandmother died and she was my everything, I went to her for comfort, help, love and most importantly life advice. Without her I don’t know where I would be.
I've always loved this song. Since I lost my wife it's a totally different meaning for me
Damn you lol now I’m crying I love this song
So amazing!
I was raised by my grandparents so i crumble at the first line and it doesn’t get any better as it goes lol
@@mrtoad8585 Man i can definitely understand it!
Need to listen to two teardrops
Haven't heard this song in forever. I dont know how, but I was randomly thinking of this song today. One of those songs that'll take me right back to my childhood.
Songs like this are why I love 90s Country and always will.
this song always makes me cry.
Isn't this a beautiful song? My sister and I listened to this constantly in her last year. Her boys were 15 and 18 when she died in 1999. It still brings me comfort and makes me cry.
I'm 55 years old and to see you cry and understand what this song means makes me cry. Love those around you as much as you can while you can.
You are AWESOME!!! 💜
One of my fav songs by one of my fav artists. Steve Wariner is an amazing musician & artist. Such a nice guy, too. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him many times. 😊
Need to do two teardrops
When my Grandma passed, I was 4. My Dad used to tell me the same thing. So long before this song came out which made me cry like it just happened all over again. Now both my Mom and Dad are gone too. I wish I still believed that but my time is coming too now.
Thank you so much for reacting to Steve Wariner! He is my all time favorite artist. I laughed when you said his voice was “dope.” 🤣 This reaction alone earned a sub from me. Much love!
Merry Christmas!! Love the channel! This is why the old joke is "What do you get back when rewind a country song?" Your dog, your family, your truck
Steve did this perfectly
I’m crying man This song hits home times a billion
This song still gets me.... Powerful
Love this song! Thanks for doing a reaction
Awesome! thanx for your reaction,
This song has hit me hard for a while.... great review
I lost my nanny on my 8th birthday. I still cry hearing this song
I lost my mom in 2012 from a heart attack. I had to watch her die and I was 17 at the time she was 41. I cry everytime I hear this song.
Love this song!
this song hit me on a different level because the day before I turned 15 my great grandma passed away and it was really hard on my this year it will be 11 years since she passed.
Lost my memow at the age of 20, at the time i was pregnant with my first baby. There's not a day goes by i don't think about her. An old wives tale that says if something traumatic happens to mom during pregnancy then the baby will be marked... for me it's true. My daughter came out with a large birthmark on her arm. With several small ones all over. I see that birthmark now and just smile. It reminds me of memow.
Makes me cry every time I hear it. Especially now with my moms birthday being on Friday and losing her 9 years ago.
I feel for you. I'm going to fall to pieces when my mom goes. She's always been my best friend.
I feel you brother.
Beautiful
I lost my grandmother 22 days before my 8th birthday, this song still hits me like a semi. She was my everything when I was little.
Yes, my mom introduced me to this song when I was young and we'd lost a beloved family member. It meant a lot to me, and I still hold it dear to my heart today. It's a real tearjerker, but has a beautiful and comforting message to.
Omg dream team wtf you play songs that hit me in the feels
One my favorite song that’s similar to this lacy song poor out the rain
This song always hits me hard. My grandfather died the day before my 8th birthday. I had just seen him and said I’d bring him a piece of cake the next day. When we got home we got the call he passed.
Thanks for doing some older country
Lost my grandma when I was quite young, they played this song at her funeral. Hits my heart every time..... 💔💔 I remember how it tore my dad apart...now my father is gone. I miss him deeply

Such an amazing song. We played this at my mamaws funeral when I was 11. I will be 33 in 3 days. Her anniversary of when she passed is right around the corner.
It really good
I remember that he performed this song on a CMA show and dedicated it to the victims of Columbine School Shooting.
My mom took her own life 15 years ago and this was one of the songs we played at her funeral. I love this song
OMG! I'm so terribly sorry to hear that. Suicide is the worst thing that can ever happen 😢I hope she's resting in peace 🙏 Just think of this song. When it rains and your outside in it. Just know she's watching over you. Cause there are holes in the floor of Heaven ❤ I would be traumatized if I lost my mom one day. I hope not to experience that any time soon.
Please react to Steve Wariner & Anita Cochran "What If I Said"...one of my favs.
