In this video I give my review of Cosequin: A powerful joint supplement for dogs. Cosequin contains Glucosamine Hydrochloride 600 mg - Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate 300 mg - MSM 250 mg - Manganese 5 mg.
I have been giving Luna ( my dog ) cosequin tablets for over 3 years now, every single day of the week. It has made a dramatic impact on her life and really given her joints the help that they need. I would highly suggest looking into this supplement if you have a dog with joint issues. It really does work. Within three days of taking 2 tablets of cosequin, Luna was able to walk normally again after a period of her losing her mobility.
Please start giving this to your dogs when they’re healthy. I’ve been giving koda this for three years now. No problems for a 7 year old
Actually my vet recommended this product for my dogs today.
Lunas sweet, glad shes under your care
My Frechie is on this supp for last year also highly recommend GlycoFle Plus
CHEWS & Vetri Disc
Vets are like mechanics, they are hard to trust.
Very true. I actually just recorded a video about the dangers of vets, and will upload it soon. Funny timing!
I got a 4-year-old golden retriever recently on the soft chews. Since goldens are prone to have joint issues. I've always given her one daily just for maintenance instead of the twice-a-day dosage since she barely needs it. But she does seem to be a bit more Limber and runny lol.
Very helpful. Thank you
Our girl was on Standard Cosequin for 2 1/2 yrs. and it made such a difference; now at 10 1/2 when she started to get stiff and slight limping , after we saw your video we thought it was time to go to Max Strength 5 weeks ago, she has been more like herself. After 5 weeks we are now going to start maintenance which on the bottle reads 1-2 tablets. When Luna started on 1 a day, is she still as mobil? We hope all are good for both of you! Paws way up!
My dog has knee problems the vet wanted to do surgery on him but I put him on cosequin max and he has no issues with his knee so for no surgery is needed at this time and I also give him the CBD oil for dogs works good, good luck with your dog’s.🙏🏿
I've been giving my dog the Nutri vet hip and joint it's got all that plus copper, zinc, asorbic acid, hyaluronic acid, liver meal, the Chondroitin sulfate is from (porcine trachea) and the Glucosamine from (shellfish). Seems like it's kinda a trade off with the ingredients.
Is it bad if I gave two more than the regular dose for their weight I didn’t know she had tooken it and i gave her two more she ways 65 so I gave her 2
I have a rotteweiler/black lab mix who's 9 and he started yelping last week when he would go to stand up. I was told to give this to him for his joints as that's where his pain is coming from, his front shoulders and so far it's been helping. Highly recommend this product
Also highly recommend GlycoFlex® Plus
CHEWS & Vetri Disc
That is so funny I have a black lab Rottweiler!
Great review. I just bought some Dasuquin chews (made by the same company that makes Cosaquin). I compared the two and the Dasuquin has quite a bit more Glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin per dose. My lab is 10 years old and is starting to show some signs of arthritis, and this was actually recommended by my vet so I think you're on the right course. BTW your pup looks like an old beautiful soul. 🙂
hi do u think is a good idea to let our dog take both ?
@@klloh5012I wouldn't risk it. It could end up hurting your dog more than helping. If the company thought it was safe to put that much in one supplement and be helpful they probably would have done it already.
My puppy is shih-poo and is 12 weeks old n i have ben 👂 hearing her bones/joints pop from time to time so idk if this is cause for concern or if it’s normal for shih-poo puppies but im kinda scared for her n wana make sure she is healthy n strong , i see on the bottle is a big dog but is it ok to give this brand to small shihpoo puppies ??
Our Dogs have the same name!❤ She’s a blue nose pitt…her hips started bothering her this year, & now her front leg joint… she couldn’t get up this morning so now I’m trying to research what might help her besides the pain pills from the vet.. I worry about giving her those regularly… she’s about 101/2 yrs old and the biggest sweetheart! Thank you for the advice!
You should really check out a product called T-Relief for Pets. It’s a comprehensive Blend of pain killing herbs like arnica, mixed with homeopathic extracts. To this day it’s the only effective pain killer that’s not dangerous that I’ve been able to find. Magical stuff !
Also - if you have a sprouts farmers market nearby - you can buy it there for around $12. You can get it on amazon as well but I suggest getting it from a store. www.amazon.com/MediNatura-T-Relief-Relief-Plant-Based-Relievers/dp/B08BJCBJGD/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3KDP8C7GJB415&keywords=t+relief+for+pets&qid=1681857081&sprefix=t+relief+for+pet%2Caps%2C449&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A9YN5CKB2CICI&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFSRzcyTjY1Nk1PT04mZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA5OTgyNDEyVFE0NEJBSlVRSVU2JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA2MzAwMDExVEpMTUdSNTNUMUQ2JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
@@SacredSerpent I most definitely will try that as well! I don’t have a sprouts near me, but I highly appreciate the advice! She’s feeling better today… I really worry about her
:( I’m going to work on the weight gain she’s had from this past winter in hopes that it helps as well… Thanks again! I’ll update you once she’s taken the stuff for a while🙃
Same girl same type of dog & same literal exact age! I just ordered these & I'm going to incorporate some omega krill into his diet & I've heard a lot of great things about turmeric as well. If u don't mind me asking what are the pills from the vet? They wnt me to give my boy gabapentin which I'm not fond of AT ALL! They wntd me to give him 300mgs 2x a day but I've only given him 100mgs today bc I rather go the holistic route. Can u keep me posted on how ur baby is doing seeing as i think ur comment was 9mo ago?
My 12 year old lab beagle mix has been having issues with his rear legs for the past 4 months. Just started him on this, I hope it works!
Did it work my dog is 10 and started limping I’m considering buying this
Thanks for making this video I need to give my dog Sadie the St Bernard something
Do you know if you need to do the initial loading dose on a young healthy dog? I have a 1 year and 7 month old goldendoodle and would like to start as a preventative. He has no issues at all so I’m not sure if we need the initial load.
If I were in your situation I would avoid the loading phase and just do 1 a day.
So interested but getting dizzy watching..lol
Do u guys have any thoughts about giving our dogs more than 1 brand of these chew /pill (similiar joint supplement like Cosequin) in any one single day. risk of overdose ?
It depends on the products you use. I would just give your dog 2 doses of the cosequin. A lot of the other products on the market are no where near as good as this.
no Brasil existe algum lugar que vende cosequin ?
Try Amazon ❤
If there is, it’s probably be a fortune!
My 12 year old poodle just started getting arthritis pain, the vet put her on Dasuquin and within a week she started walking and running like normal again but the supplement doesn't agree with her tummy so I took her off of it. I asked the vet if there was anything else I could put her on and they said no. I'm so incredibly frusturated, I don't want her to start having joint pain again so thank you for the recommendation. I'm gonna try this and hopefully it doesn't upset her tummy.
The ingredients are very similar. Did you try giving your dog the medication after she ate? Empty stomach and some supplements don't agree.
@@SacredSerpent yup, she was having it after dinner and it gave her diarrhea. I put her on a bland diet to try and help settle her stomach and her tummy didn't get better till I took her off it.
@@jazmincontreras109 did you try this yet? i’m trying to look for something that will help my 12 year old
@@whorable yup, my dog has been on them for 2 wks and has had no issues, thankfully. I got her the senior ones from Amazon.
I brought my dog in 2x this past week alone,so I feel your pain on the whole vet thing & wanting to bring them in & I'm not knocking all vets BUT I felt smarter then her yesterday & left so distraught. His regular doc wasn't in so we saw a different doctor but we've been at this vet for many many yrs. After X-rays blood work exam etc, plus last week's visit were tlkn well over a grand for 2 visits n I still have no answers! According to her he's fine😂HE IS NOT FINE! Hes having trouble wlkn as of recently so being the dog Mom I am,I'm a very holistic person as well so I ALWAYS wnt to go the natural route opposed to doctor meds for my 11yr old Bully.Hes ALWAYS had a strict diet organic treats decent food w no crap in it no table scraps ever unless it's veggies or meat. He's my child,I'm sure you can all relate.I hadn't slept in 2 nights till he went to the vet. I was up w him in pain worrying thinking the worst after 2 vet visits we came home with a bill, which is infuriating to me.I just ordered this on Amazon overnight delivery shld be here 4-8am.I also ordered a sort of sling w handles & a strap tht goes over my shoulder bc unfortunately we live in the city on 3rd floor&the stairs ara really doing a number on my little meatball.Hes short & stocky at 85lbs,in his younger yrs he was much more muscular & thick but nonetheless it's hard as a female to carry him on my own.I get scared I'm going to fall forward w him carrying him dwn the stairs yesterday,IDK HOW I did it but our sling shld be here tomorrow.I also heard a lot of good things about turmeric & omega supplements like krill oil or green lipped mussels. I wnt to try to incorporate CBD into his diet as well.Do you have one you wld recommend? I wld greatly appreciate it&thank you for your video.Gives me hope bc it's tearing me apart inside watching him the way he is.Much love from Boston ✌🏼

Hi what kind of CBD oil is recommended for our dogs?
Haven’t gave my pups any cbd although use to be a pharmacy rep promoting it…def google pros & cons and with thc
just a question, my boy is very picky with food, this tablet looks like Not-tasty tablet, any thoughts ?
I would suggest looking into cosequins flavored wafers. I currently have Luna on them and she loves them.
Here's a link, if your dog is a senior - id suggest the Cosequin senior formula. amzn.to/48TOVIa
It looks like Amazon is sold out of that exact product. Chewy has it here www.chewy.com/nutramax-cosequin-hip-joint/dp/126227
hey, thank you so so much.
No problem
Are you also having to give her a vet prescription anti inflammatory?
No.
Cbd oil is best for older dogs, they love it and it help joints more than any of these pills
Which cbd oil?
@@rosarioolmeda4151 any, just make sure its alcohol extracted cbd, more potent is better, put the pippete with few drops under dogs tongue every day, in 5 to 7 days he'll be brand new
@@fvallo which one do you use
