The combination of Homer (Dan Castellaneta), his new pet pig, and a leaky silo full of excrement triggers a disaster that threatens not just Springfield but the entire world. An angry mob descends on the Simpson home, splitting the family. With Earth's fate in the balance, Homer sets out on a quest for redemption in order to save the world and earn Marge's (Julie Kavner) forgiveness.

Simpson is a popular name so
You cut two of the best lines Marge look this idiots don’t even know where we live and Stay back I got a chainsaw
@@ianloeb1672 I absolutely love the chainsaw bit I’ve been cracking up since 2007!
Mutant Squirrel 15:00
Fun fact: the script for this movie was rewritten over 100 times until they finally settled on this plotline. Imagine rewriting the same damn story over 100 times and still managing to finish said product. Good on the Simpsons crew, honestly. This movie is hilarious!
Oh, really?! That’s definitely a cool fact
@Isaiah Adams I also heard Adding Tom Hanks to the cast was a last minute decision and I'm glad cause he did steal the scene in which he was in
Every other movie based on cartoon shows already got their sequels quickly like SpongeBob, Pokémon, Teen Titans Go, and Paw Patrol while The Simpsons Movie sequel is taking forever
The Simpsons Movie is way better than Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
@@lexramstudios1386 The Simpsons writing team has already come out and stated that the movie and a season of the show turned out to be way too much, to the point they won't ever make another movie unless it's the show's finale.
Bobs Burgers, South Park and Simpsons got their own theatrical film but not Family Guy and King of The Hill.
Family guy has done hour long specials and King of The Hill technically came from Beavis and Butthead and they had a movie
And Futurama had four tv specials that were like movies
I've heard that a Family Guy theatrical movie is in the works.
@@wesmcinerny4524 Oh, really? Can't wait for that.
Every adult cartoon show deserves to have their own movie
Actually holds up MUCH better than I remembered.
I remember when Mom (who’s the stricter parent) actually took me to see this at the age of 7. I remember everyone in the theater laughing at the 20th Century Fox logo and me laughing at Homer strangling Bart. 😂
She didn’t know the movie was PG-13?
But man, I hope you didn’t get weirded out during certain innuendo filled scenes (such as the skateboarding scene, boob lady, and the animals getting horrified come to mind).
@@RYMAN1321
No she was well aware of how The Simpsons was far past my age group, but she also knew they’re not as adult themed as other shows like Family Guy. And no, don’t remember the first time seeing those innuendos. But I remember the skateboard scene just making me laugh.
Rip Marcia Wallace and Russi Taylor
I still can’t believe to this day they got away with showing Barts doodle.
The Intro to this movie is sooooo good
Love this movie!
Love this movie!!! So glad you enjoyed it!
It's always interesting when cartoons/ animated shows get a movie and it feels so much more serious/ better quality than the show lol.
I'd love to see Tim react to more films like Recess: School's Out, Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama, Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe, etc in the future too.
I remember watching this in the theaters, and I laughed so hard!!!
Idc I'll go on record this is probably the best tv show turned into a movie of all time. The story and scope was too big for a regular episode.
Simpson is popular name and this was during tractions from thick computers to everything being apple
Classic 😂 some of these jokes went over my head as a kid but it aged really well Also that Disney jokes floored me funniest joke of the whole movie
So, a Simpsons analyst channel on UA-cam put forth the claim that this movie sounded the beginning of the end of "Jerkass Homer", which, when viewed in that light, almost make this movie seem like a deconstruction, showing what would really happen to Homer if he acted like that all the time, and his arc is about him learning to think of other people again.
Also, I'm so glad you used the wrecking ball scene as your teaser, that gag consistently brought down the house from teaser trailer to finished film.
21:54 텍사스 사투리 영어회화 강습 lol
That's my country language!!
There is going Simpsons movie 2-looking forward to it.
Love to see u guys react to the aqua teen movie.... Plantasm not the first
My favorite movie 🎥 I watched it when it released when I was younger kid
Remember, the wall was made idiot proof, but not Homer Simpson, which is a lot worse.
Since you have done the Simpsons Movie, the South Park movie would be good to do next. You'll have to see how nuts it is.
Spider pig spider pig does whatever a spider pig does can he swing from a web no he can't he's a pig look out he is spider pig.🤣😂😅
This is not only a great movie, it also feels like the last great Hurrah for The Simpsons in general. But since this film was a smash hit at the box office, with half a billion worldwide, it shows that they’re still extremely popular, a reason why it’s still on the air today, and it seems like it isn’t going to go anywhere anytime soon.
ONLY GOOD SEASONS of the sjow 1-8...but you are right this movie does seem like the end and it really should be.
@@entertainmentlife430I disagree with you the newer seasons was good
@@marquisepixley684 no they arent!
I was thinking a while back, some of the actors are getting on in their years and some of them play a lot of characters. What happens if they start getting too old?
@@3DJapan most of them are too old already, they'll only stop once the main cast starts dying
“Ever tried going mad without power? It’s boring, no one listens to ya.”
So true.
That scene was what they used to audition Cargill's foreign dub voices.
My favourite quote from this one is "I was elected to lead, not to read"
I hope Clariss is ok. Her face during reaction was constant shock, amusement and ven more shock. I hope this film didn't broke her.
A sip of Flanders' hot cocoa is something I never thought I needed.
I think Babish has a video on how to make it
This movie is absolutely hilarious. I still can't get "Spider-Pig" out of my head, and the scene of the Simpsons trying to escape the mob is one of my favorites in cinema.
Y'all Need To Listening This Spider-Pig song
is The Simpsons Movie better than The Care Bears Movie?
to this day Homer's Spiderpig song lives rent free inside my head 😂
Me too but only because my dad wouldn't shut up about it at the time.
Better Hope Cartmans Poker Face Doesn’t Evict him
As a non-American, when I first watched this movie and Ned brings up the four states ordeal, I actually thought that it was very much correct, unaware that those states aren't supposed to be near each other.
But now I understand that they're nowhere near each other and that Ned just said that for Springfield's location being that much more obscure.

I grew up in Alaska and was in Alaska when I saw this movie. The whole theater erupted in cheers when Homer showed they were going to Alasla 😂 They had artists from Alaska to help draw the landscapes in the Alaska scenes, and said artists told the writers they should drop the song and dance scene they were planning on making fun of Alaskas high rate of alcoholism and suicide 😬
do they still pay people to live in Alaska?
@@mrgonzale0978 yeah. It's meant as an annual booster to the economy from the oil companies. One of the writers of the states constitution wanted to keep at least some of the oil money in Alaska, so they came up with the annual Permanent Fund Dividend. How much is paid out depends on how well it's invested, but unfortunately the state government has been using it for financial loans due to their bad management (they wouldn't need to if they stopped giving oil companies tax breaks). The existence of the PFD also prevents the creation of a state income tax and prevents residence from claiming mineral rights on their property (seeing as they're technically profiting from mineral right on land they don't own). The only people making big bucks of the oilfields, besides the oil companies, are the Native Alaskans living in nearby villages.
Can you say Alaska one more time? Please
The look on her face the whole time she watched this 🤣
in terms of the private viewing, better have the innocent viewpoint that it is only used to pee needs, just saying😳🤷♀
Day 47 of me requesting a reaction to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
5:39 Originally in the church scene, it was gonna be Marge who gets the vision, but it made Homer more of a jerk than he already is in this movie for not believing her, so they changed it to Grandpa who's known for saying and doing crazy things already.
12:00 Take that millennial milkshakes, Ned Flanders beat ya to it.
28:37 Disney: "Hold my beer"
I was only 8 years old when this was released 😂 I think I watched it a year after the release, but wow this movie was so funny at the time and now as an adult, its still funny but those emotional moments really hit! Poor Marge and Lisa, they're so sweet lol
As an adult its even funnier cause some jokes I definitely didnt get back then
I was 10 years old, you little fetus! Haha. Seriously though, I feel old :(
Ten year old me loved this movie. I owned it on DVD back in 2008 and would watch it on my little portable DVD player everyday. I used to camp out in my backyard with a tend, a DVD play and this movie. Looking back on it, I don't know why my mom let me watch it.
This came out when i was 8 going on nine. Very funny flick, like the show before it.
I was only 4 when it came out, so naturally I didn't see it until I was about 16 (quarantine gave me a LOT of movie-watching time). The scene with Marge having taped over the wedding video still hits me HARD, something that serious and heartbreaking is so much sadder when it's in a franchise that's mostly just silliness.
30:50 I love how the dogs waited until Homer took the harness off every one of them before attacking. They were planning this ambush 😂
The Simpsons are undoubtedly one of the most important series ever made. We all have a favorite character or a favorite moment that has marked us. Although it has not been the same in recent years, sometimes they surprise us
Same here
OMG, I loved this movie 😂 I'm so glad that you guys watched this.
People just tend to ignore how marge brought 3 kids back to a town that she knew was going to be blown up
Not really. She didn't bring them back to Springfield, she was planning on warning the rest of the country about what the government was trying to do to Springfield, but they got caught and sent back to Springfield instead before she could get the message out.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince aww fek you're right as well, brain fart on my part there, for the best really that would have been out of character for her
@@Somerandomnobodyonyoutube That and you weren't listening, like most reactors don't do.🤦♀️
@@summerrose8110 You can be nicer about it mate. He admitted a mistake. Why are you coming down on it ?
To be fair trying to save Springfield in any way was going to be dangerous, but the kids were right on board with it
I really don't understand the hate for this movie. I get it, not the funniest humour, but I remember always laughing through this film :D
Agreed
I remember my audience (which was packed) laughing throughout
Finally I love the Simpsons
This is honestly a funny enough movie, even though it’s very rare for an animated movie to be PG-13. By the way, Bart is my favorite character. Ay Caramba!
Agreed
The most recent animated PG-13 movie was the Bob’s Burgers Movie. And that was the first in a long time.
12:23 I was 16 when this film hit the theatres and I remember feeling so sorry for Bart. As an adult and looking back at Bart instinctively gag from strangulations goes to show that he’s used to the abuse. It’s actually quite dark and sad.
one of the moments when you sit down and say, "I call it a comedy, it's really a drama"
Tim: “That baby has been a baby for 30 years”
Everyone: She needs Dr. Phil
I absolutely ADORED this movie as a kid 💯
I know it’s PG-13, but I hope you didn’t get too weirded or grossed out by certain scenes LOL
Fun fact matt Groening admitted that Springfield is based in Ohio!
For alot of years fans speculated where Springfield actually was, like you said it was geographically incorrect for the four states to be like that, so it's basically the creators having fun at the fans expense.
Ya, it’s like 34 springfield’s in America, 11 are in Ohio😂
@@dylanmijer2890 are there really? I'm Canadian so idk about state towns.
@@sundancemckay1744 ya it’s crazy😂
@@dylanmijer2890 And the funny thing is that I feel like most people only even know that because of The Simpsons. Because at one point, everybody would've looked at a map wondering where Springfield is, only to find more than one on said map.
@@gurvmlk The Simpsons Movie Rocks! Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Sucks!
The gorge Homer and Bart fall into while on the bike is a running gag in the show. Whenever they think they reach the other side, they never make it.
You can see the ambulance from "Bart the Daredevil" still wrecked by the side of the gorge
Reminded me of that scene from “The Bad Guys” when they think they reached the other side but weren’t even close LOL
28:36 Bart (imitating Mickey Mouse): I'm the mascot of an evil corporation!
Me: Jokes on you, you're now owed by the evil corporation 😂
Spider-pig, spider-pig; Does whatever a spider-pig does; Can he swing, from a web? No, he can't; He's a pig. Look out! Here comes the spider-pig!
Sir! I think you've gone mad with power!
Of course I've gone mad with power! Have you ever gone mad WITHOUT power? It's BORING!
I watched this when I was 8 and I loved it but as an adult getting all the references now it’s incredible 😂😂
Same when I watched films as a child, I was only fascinated by the characters. Now, watching them again as an adult, I realize there are jokes and memes in them that I never understood before.
I took my sister to see this when it came out in theaters. The audience was so packed we got stuck with the front row, but the movie was still a blast
I hope she didn’t understand the innuendo, or got weirded / grossed out during certain scenes. LOL
But yes, I saw it on opening day and the auditorium was packed.
@@RYMAN1321 If innuendo is well written, then kids will never catch it.
@@gurvmlk is The Simpsons Movie better than Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero?
@@lisazheng8308 What does that have to do with innuendo?
I like how this film actually had a theme, especially a theme like the environment which was very interesting to me as a kid, and it sparked a conversation I needed as a kid
I now love The Simpsons Movie
I love the simpsons
Yeah The Simpsons Movie is hilarious and it's my favourite film from 2007
Oh HELL YEAH! I LOVE The Simpsons, and I Love this movie so Much, I watch it religiously every single time, helps me on my sad days. And the animation is what I call a great hand drawn animated movie. Great reaction guys
I now love the Simpsons movie
Saw this movie in theaters when i was 10 and ive watched it so many times since.. it's a masterpiece
Starting the film off with that *Itchy & Scratchy* skit was perfection 😹🐭🎬🍿
Would you believe that Russ Cargill is voiced by the same person who voiced Marlin from Finding Nemo? Also, during Marge's breakup with Homer, the voice actress, Julie Kavner, was purportedly asked to repeat this same line over and over, presumably as a means to express genuine exhaustion.
He was originally going to be Hank scorpio from the episode you only move twice
@@GTARanger1992 Yeah, but that was scrapped as everyone loves Scorpio, and it'd be hard to take him as this kind of bad guy.
He's appeared on the show voicing various guest characters, and is always a highlight because Albert Brooks is REALLY good at improvising material.
If you own the Finding Nemo DVD, you can back that up for sure
9:05 Her reaction 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love it
I don't like to be a nerd here, but no matter how many times Homer Simpson get himself hurt throughout the series it is worth 143 million dollars worth of his medical bills😧😧

I'll never forget being 11 years old watching this in theatres. The fandom of Simpsons was the equivalent of MCU fandom. Right after Homer pointed at us and the intro began, everyone erupted in applause. I'd rather relive that experience than Infinity War, Endgame and No Way Home.
5:44 this is a three stooges easter egg please watch the three stooges
wow I have not seen this film in years I dont even remember it but the force field part but hopefully I will watch it someday.
You and Clariss need to watch South Park next
Yess i’ve gotten it recommended by a friend just this past week
I love this movie
28:09- I find it funny how many reactors actually fall for this. I figured it would be a lot more like how Doug Walker said it went down, with nobody falling for it because it was way too soon in the film's run.
The movie took over 7 years to make. The idea for a movie came in the late 90s, then it took 3 years or so to think of the movie plot, including the idea of making it a musical. Plus, the movie script was kept so secret that the crew would shred each script after a voicing session.
I was seven years old when this came out and it still cracks me up to this day

This movie is great and hilarious, especially knowing it was the last Simpsons work of some of the classic story team
I dare one of you to do a reaction to Rocketman. Either as a collab or on your own!
I'm sorry I have to be a simp right now. Get it? LOL but she is so beautiful.
Her reaction to this part is Hilarious 9:03 lol 😂😂
I felt like ranting about Jake's mental health, so I will. Jake was always sorta paranoid after being cheated on, and being betrayed by his trusted friend makes it worse. His paranoia, however, actually makes him easier to manipulate because everyone knows he's paranoid. He never knows what to believe because ANYONE could be manipulating him. He definitely needs therapy and would likely benefit from anxiety medication. Honestly tho everyone on this show probably needs therapy, especially after the show
This was absolutely the best possible ending for this series.
...
...
So naturally they've gone on for 17 years after it! The series will only end when TWO of the following pass away, I'm sure: Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith. And only one of them is over 70. (They've proven that they're willing and able to replace anyone else in the cast. Maude Flanders got killed off because the voice actress wanted more money. They've recast Hank Azaria's minority characters except Apu -- no actor of any Indian ancestry wants to _take_ the role of Apu, which these days would be the only way to move forward, but I digress -- but that really opens the door for them to recasting everything else he or anyone else does, doesn't it? But basically any show that has Fair For Its Day entries on TV Tropes from the 80's that's on in 2024 is seriously never going to end. And I'm shocked that Dan Castellaneta even had time to be the other voice of the Genie (as recently as 2008, because even when Robin Williams came back, video games didn't have Robin Williams money, but I further digress), and it's a good thing none of the core four are sick of the show or want to do other stuff.
As someone who had very high hopes for "Hoodwinked Too", all I can say is...
"Hi Clariss!"
(BTW hopes were dashed, original is 50× better)

Even though Ned Flanders seems like a great father/person, there have been episodes which shows that he is way too protective of his kids (until Edna and Marge made him ease a little bit). Kids couldn't even use the seesaw
