I'm guessing you didn't hear when Doc explained that the Mr. Fusion powered the time circuits and flux capacitor, but the engine was always powered by normal gasoline.
I didn't hear all that, but I did hear the black guy say, "Bust'n makes me feel good" and the white girl added "It was a nice finish." That's about all I need while surfing the internet.
The simplest solution they would have done is: 1) go to the old mine and take the gas from the other DeLorean and change the part of the car that was broken by the arrow, and 2) go back to 1985.
Fun fact I learned recently...The baby portraying William McFly, the first of the McFly family to be born in America, happens to be Michael J. Fox's real-life son Samuel.
I would say that's accurate because between Back to the future's 2 and 3. His son was born and his father had passed away. So he was trying to balance his loss of his father and the birth of his son.
@richardmarchiafava3904 I can imagine it was a stressful, yet joyful also, time for Michael J. Fox; seeing him get through that the way he did proves how amazing he was then, and still is.
A “bustier” is on the top of the body, covering a woman’s chest, has cups and is meant to push up the breasts; a “corset” is meant to cinch in the waist and is often underneath the breasts; a “bustle” is on the lower part of the body, is worn underneath skirts in order to add padding to and raise up the rear end. Dresses worn with a bustle usually had a straight front and the backside was elaborately decorated. Bustles were invented in the 1860’s and went out of fashion by the early 1900’s.
The writer Bob Gale, and director Robert Zemeckis, both said that they know it technically doesn’t make sense to have Lea Thompson portraying Marty’s paternal great great grandmother, as it begs the question of incest lol…. But they wanted to include the “Mom is that you?” recurring gag, and knew it wouldn’t be right without Lea Thompson being there for Marty to wake up to. So basically, they chalked it up to a genetic “trait” that all McFly men are attracted to women who kinda look like Lea Thompson…. Citing that even Jennifer has similar features to her. Lol it’s a suuuuper thin excuse, but the writer/director at least acknowledge it. It’s all in service of keeping all 3 movies consistent.
53:13 another brilliant question by Jane that will be answered in the next minute or so. Apparently not everyone knows trains can be slowed down and on some occasions, fully stopped
As Doc said in the film... The car is still run on normal gasoline for the internal combustion engine. The 1st film, required Plutonium for the time circuits/flux capacitor, but was later replaced by Mr Fusion for the 2nd/3rd films.
Marty was good at the shooting range because he played Crack Shot arcade game at 7/11. He plays it in BTTF Part 2 at the retro diner after young Elijah Wood is done with it.
i recommend you react to : ★ *The Frighteners* (1996) 🔥 starring *_Michael J. Fox_*_ (Marty McFly)_ Directed by *_Peter Jackson_*_ (The Lord of the Rings)_ ★ *The Addams Family* (1991) 🔥 starring *_Christopher Lloyd_*_ (''Doc'')_ Directed by *_Barry Sonnenfeld_*_ (Men In Black)_
fun fact the 3 men at the table in the salloon were in many, many westerns way back in the day, well known also, and no, the bartender isnt willem dafoe
Here is a fun fact: There were four DeLoreans present in Hill Valley in 1955: 1.) The DeLorean Marty takes from 1985 ("Back to the Future, Pt. 1"). 2.) The DeLorean hidden by Doc in 1885 ("Back to the Future, Pt. 3"). 3.) The DeLorean Biff takes from 2015 to 1955 ("Back to the Future, Pt. 2"). 4.) The DeLorean Marty and Doc used to travel from alternate 1985 to 1955 to stop Biff ("Back to the Future, Pt. 2").
Moreover: Josh Gates (of Expedition: Unknown) along with Christopher Lloyd adventure to find 7 DeLorean Time Machines with the hope of donating one to The Michael J. Fox Foundation by selling it off at auction to raise money for research into Parkinson's disease. The four-part series (with lots of easter eggs) is well worth watching in one's free time.
You guys overthought the fact that they used the same actress as Marty's mom to be an ancestor. She wasn’t playing an ancestor of Marty's mom. She was just playing another character that married into the McFly family. 🤷♂️
Also, it's known fact that while it isn't necessarily incest, most Irish immigrants would marry others within their small clan of other Irish immigrants. For example, take Conan O'Brian, when his DNA was tested for his ancestry, it was determined he is like 100% Irish. Even most of the Irish in Ireland today can't claim that. So it's likely that Maggie and Lorraine were related.
The reason for Marty having such a bad reaction to being called a “chicken”, is because Marty was raised by a man who he always saw be a coward… Marty would have despised that…. even though Marty changed the timeline in the first movie, to alter his parents lives, Marty was still raised in the OG timeline.
Since the chicken thing only happened in the sequels, I personally believe it's a subtle change to Marty's personality to reflect the new timeline where he was raised by successful parents.
@@user-nv8ds8wf6g Marty has absolutely no recollection of the new timeline… Why do you think he was so shocked to see his nice house and his successful parents?… our Marty comes from the original untouched timeline.
@@briantidwell651 According to the movie producers, while Marty initially didn't have any memories of the new timeline, they slowly caught up to him over time. The first signs of Marty transforming into his new self is his sudden hate for being called a chicken. By the end of the trilogy when he returns from 1885, he refers to his new family as 'back to normal', which means one can assume that, while he'll always remember the old timeline, he has gained significant portion of his new memories. I believe, by the end of all three movies, Marty has two sets of memories. Eventually, as time goes on, his older memories would become less vivid and fuzzy while his new memories will become dominant and more clear (since the new timeline is the one that exists, while the old one doesn't). Like I said, the writers themselves pretty much confirmed this in interviews, so that mean it's true.
@@user-nv8ds8wf6g where?… in what?… I find it extremely hard to believe they would create a plot hole in their own movie… WHY would Marty have been surprised by the state of things upon his return home? (If he was merely an updated version of himself)
14:31 Just relax and enjoy the story. Don’t get caught up in reusing the actors. It’s just meant to be for fun and so you’re immersed in a world that already feels familiar. It’s much more important to pay attention to the details of the story and timeline than who got married lol
There is something I realized recently Doc Brown was supposed to die in the first movie and Clara was supposed to die. Meaning their continued life in their own times would affect the future but since they are now living as time travellers outside time it doesnt affect time anymore
Years after their release, at a roundtable discussion for the films, the writers admitted Mary Steenburgen's part was written specifically for Mary Steenburgen & had she not taken the part their intention was to re-write the part. They wanted Mary Steenburgen & only Mary Steenburgen. & Mary Steenburgen who was sitting at the roundtable got upset. (jokingly) "Why didn't you mention that to me during contract negotiations?"
It's not green screen, they used other methods. Reactors always seem to think too modern whenever watching old movies, they didn't always have that kind of tech back then.
It’s possible that Crispin Glover would’ve played Seamus if they hadn’t had all those issues over the sequel. The producers didn’t intend to create confusion about why all the ancestors looked the same. They just had to somehow get Lea Thompson in this movie. The producers simple answer is that McFly men are predisposed to marry women that look like Lea.
Love your reactions to the trilogy, BUT, ... you miss so many clues & info through talking too much (just pause a sec or two) .. looking at the comments loads and also .... you asked (at the drive-in cinema) 'Why could they not go to an open area' .. Doc explains to Marty that they came here so that he would not crash into any unexpected trees when he lands back in 1885. !! Biff in 1885 is Buford Tannen ... !! accident what accident' = rewatch Part 2 (2015) ... M.J. Fox did his own stunts ... fun fact, most of Marty's other charactor's have green & brown eyes, Marty has blue-ish ... the train going over the ravine was a real train, not a model, it was a real car that the train ran over, when asked to do it, the train driver & co driver said they had wanted to do that all there lives .... and remember this is a comedy 🙂
@@jtrem08 Agree and disagree. It shouldn't be taken too seriously, but they are in the business of appreciating movies. If they're missing important parts, and then get confused or dislike that movie because of it, it can be really aggravating. If you're going to make a UA-cam channel based around the love of movies, you have to treat every movie with a bit of respect. Otherwise it comes across as a shallow means of trying to gain popularity and money.
@@jtrem08 Can I also point out that, as I stated, I've read the comments and a lot of other people, who like me love certain films, and they to are also voicing the the same point 🙂
Greetings and Love from Köln/Cologne, Germany. My dear Jane. This here goes out to you. You're the first person I've seen in a long time who reacts so extremely and obnoxiously when the tension of a film increases. The last person I saw with such an anxiety disorder was myself. The incident that made me do something about it happened when I was at the movies with my girlfriend in the 90s. During the movie “Jurassic Park,” I suddenly couldn’t stand the excitement I was expecting and left the theater. I was very embarrassed and really angry at myself for ruining a lovely movie night with my girlfriend. I would like to tell you how I got this disorder under control and now even use it to my advantage. Who knows, maybe it can help you too. Every time I watched the films I feared the worst. I saw my anxiety and tension as an evil disease. So much so that it almost made me mentally ill. Then I first changed my way of thinking. From negative to positive. I no longer saw an illness but a way of life and learned to enjoy this feeling. Since these exciting films usually have a happy ending, the relief afterwards was almost like a climax. I even became a so-called “tension delayer” who managed to build up the tension higher and higher internally. Many people who have never suffered from such a disorder cannot imagine how it has positively changed me as a person. This may certainly sound like it's really easy. but it is not. And such a problem is not ridiculous, but very serious. Even though I'm sure I'll get some unpleasant comments about it, I wanted to share my story with you in the hope that you will find support in it and maybe even help you. I hope it so much. Have a peaceful day day, both of you. And please go on with your channel. Tschüss, ihr Lieben
They used the drive-in theater because it's a flat, smooth surface far away from any prying eyes. There was no green screen used. _"Just give him the 80 dollars."_ - neither of you have ever been bullied, obviously. Doc shoed the horse, but Tannen never paid him for the job. But Tannen wanted "80 dollars" because $5 for the shoe thrown, and $75 for the horse. Doc doesn't owe him any money; Tannen is just trying to bully Doc into submission (like all bullies do), and if you submit, you send a message to the bully that he can always bully you into submission. Today it's 80 dollars, tomorrow it's 100. Then it's 150. The entire first movie was literally about this. George McFly never stood up to Biff since high school and in 1985, was still being bullied by him. The "accident" Doc refers to was mentioned in the second film while they were in 2015. While Jennifer is hiding the closet, she overhears Marty's mom fussing about how Marty lacks self-control when someone calls him a name. It's was this weakness that landed him in an automobile accident where he hurt his hands and had to "give up on his music," because he couldn't play guitar anymore. There is a scene where Jennifer is sneaking out and she overhears future Marty sitting in a chair strumming his guitar, but it's off-key. She turns to look, puzzled as to why Marty can't play.
Did you know the date you published this video is on the exact 34th anniversary of part 3 when it came out in theaters. Also it was the creators birthday BOB Gale, the person who invented the story of Back To The Future. You published this on his exact birthday to youtube.
In chapter II, there is a conversation where the mom explains that there was an accident with a Rolls Royce, and Marty's hand gets injured & he's no longer able to play the guitar - hence, he's never able to have the career he wanted. In the first chapter, there is a newspaper headline that explains that the Brown Mansion was destroyed & sold to developers. That's why he lived in that small place, in the opening of the movie. The sherriff had been out of town for a hanging. That's one reason why Biff was able to do whatever he wanted, when Marty first arrived in town. All in all, it's a great series. It's one of the few, where each chapter feels like a "beginning", a "middle", and a "finale". It's rare to have a film series that actually feels like it was meant to be a trilogy, though it hadn't been planned by the end of the first movie. By the second film, they definitely knew - hence the "To be concluded". I would say that it's my favorite movie series, and in spite of Star Wars existing, and all the other great films I've seen since, I always come back to it. It's the film series I've seen most. Whenever I see one of the chapters on TV. I end up going back to the beginning & rewatching the whole series.
Mary Steenburgen ("Clara") actually had one of her 'breakout' roles in the '70s in a cult-favorite time travel movie! "Time After Time", also starring Malcolm McDowell and David Warner. McDowell is H.G. Wells, actually creates time machine instead of just writing about it. Warner is "Jack The Ripper", steals it to escape punishment in his own era. Wells chases JTR 'back to the future' to apprehend him, Steenburgen plays the modern woman that takes Wells in and eventually falls for him. Changes the timeline! Returns with him to the 19th Century..and is a suffragette! I was so stoked to see her in this, I'm hoping the casting director did it on purpose. 'She's done time-travel stuff before, right?..' 😊
In back to the future II biff was watching a Clint Eastwood movie where he wears a stove plate to block a bullet just like Marty did in this one. It was when he was in the hot tub in the alternate 1985
Could you imagine hearing your friend from the 80s reading a letter from himself in the 50s to you and not breaking down and wanting to say to this old man from the 50s that he was the greatest friend you ever knew and that even if you never see him again because all this adventure ends with your untimely death as a kid in high school that you wouldn't trade it for the world? Now as to that female actress. She is so much a great woman by her nature even while acting that I'd fall in love with her no matter what movie they put her in or what they cast me as, so yeah seeing a guy as awesome as Doc Brown gain a girl like that would be awesome and so aren't you glad you saw it?
If you'll recall in the beginning of the film, Doc left them notes to repair the car to 1955 specs and current hardware, hence the need for gas and no fusion fuel tank. As for the insane McFly family geneology, you're thinking about it too hard xD. McDonald's still does that sort of thing, though you really onlt see it in the happy meal promitions. right now they've got toys for the new Captain America movie, which I don't even think comes out for a year.
In Back to the future 2 when Jennifer was in future Marty and Jennifer's closet Lorraine explains to the kids how someone Marty was challenge to drag race and Marty agreed because he was afraid to be called a chicken. Marty smash his truck on another driver. The accident injured Marty's hands and he got sued. That is why future Biff said Marty flushed his life down the toilet
One thing that someone pointed out that I didn't realize is they can't kill Buford Tannen. If they do, Biff would cease to exist. That would change so much of the future timelines.
The 3 older guys sitting at the table in the bar are all very famous actors from the past who starred in hundreds of classic westerns and other older films.
The accident Doc mentioned was the one with the Rolls Royce , which was also mentioned in BTTF2 by Grandma Lorraine and Marlene McFly. This was avoided by the end of BTTF3 by Marty making a better judgement.
In Part II - there's a scene where the stuntwoman DOES get badly injured. When Griff and his goonies crash into the Court House Mall (in 2015) - you can see the stuntwoman playing the "girl goony" hits the concrete pillar before hitting the glass. One of the pullies malfunctioned and made her hit the pillar - I believe she was hospitalized for her injuries - but they still used the scene in the movie and you can still see it.
Doc's lab in the '80s is just the detached garage of his home after his mansion burns down sometime between 1955 and 1985. In one of the shot sequences, the camera pans over a news clipping referring to the incident.
Correct. And also why Marty is surprised when he finds Doc's mansion in 1955, he takes a quick look at the garage, which is still there in 1985 (with a Burger King next to it)
Thomas F Wilson really shows his superb acting talents as Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen in this sequel. This ancestor of Biff's is truly a killer who would not think twice about shooting either Marty or Doc. In a deleted scene from the movie, he eventually shot Marshal Strickland in the back, and the Marshal dies in his young son's arms afterwards. Buford is finally arrested by the Deputy after his encounter with Marty in front of the whole town. He is arrested for robbing rhe Pine City stagecoach, but not for the murder of Marshal Strickland - it is never known whether or not that eventually becomes public knowledge since it is never mentioned again in the movie. Brilliant casting as always diring the entire trilogy! 👍😁😁😁👏👏👏👏👏
33:00 - The song you're hearing (or at least, the one you're humming) is "Turkey in the Straw". It's a popular folk melody. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was a kid -- Sharon, Lois and Bram had a version of the song on one of their albums. 38:00 - Well, "fan service" is the correct term, but whether it applies to that scene depends largely on your point of view. I tend to see it as "fan disservice" myself, but your mileage may vary...
That unused Peacemaker single-action revolver (with holster and 44-70 Cartridges), brought back to 1985, would have have been worth 100's of thousands of dollars.
Also I went to see the Musical on the day you published this. There will never be a part 4 as long as Bob Gail is alive. that's the deal he made to universal so no one can damage the franchise with another sequel, reboot, or remake. However through other mediums of media. The story continues after part 3 in the following formats. Back To The Future the animated series the time traveling adventures of Doc's kids. Back to the Future the ride at universal studios where on the ride you learn that Doc later in the future organizes a time school to train future time travelers. Back To The Future the game which takes place right after part 3 and it's the closest we'll ever get to a Back To The Future 4. In fact the game was so long like the movies but longer that they had to split it into 5 parts Back to the Future Part 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Each part at quickest takes 2 hours to complete and watch all cut scenes of the game just like a movie. A back to the Future short where Doc 30 years after part 3 explains how we did not get the future the movie predicted and Doctor Brown has a good explanation for it. There is a behind the scenes movie of where and how Back to the Future got made from the Idea to franchise. It's a good movie plot within it's self about the story behind the story. There's comic books that tell you more about Marty and Docs adventures after part 3 and before part 1 like how they met and stuff. Also comics about things during the movies like what Doc did during those 8 months in the west and what he did in the future before going back to get Marty and Jenifer. How did he turn the car into a flying car and stuff like that. Back to the future Legos where we see Lego Marty and Doc go on time travel adventures in other movie franchises like Batman and Harry Potter and along with that cross over comics like magin-ex and Marvel in Lego commercials. The last thing and more recently added to the franchise is Back To The Future the Musical on Broadway and the West End. It's basically the first movie but with dance numbers and songs and deeper character development where you get to know things about each character that wasn't in the movie like Jenifer's cousin Kevin who hooks Marty up to play a rock and roll song in Hill Valley or that Strickland is actually Marty's principle not teacher. There's a lot of new stuff and things that changed do to it being impossible to put on stage but It's like watching a new Back To The Future and more importantly going into this musical. It feels like your watching it for the first time. So if you want to see more Back To The Future and react to them on Patron and UA-cam. If you want to see a Back to the Future Part 4. These are your only options but it's a lot of options to choose from. If you do a pole on this. I will garrente you that people don't want to see you to react to all of these but if there's one I would want first timers of BTTF to react to. I recommend you due a pole of the Musical or game and then which ever of these 2 win. React to that as your back to the Future part 4
33:10 IIRC, that song is "Turkey in the Straw". Not certain, though. Biff's gun -- not the right day? In one of his conversations on the movie, one of the Bobs said that Buford shot Doc in the back on Saturday at the festival, but it took Doc two days to die horribly, in the reality that gave them the photo. Buford Tannen was the only character to recognize the similarity between the two McFlys. Not even the wife did. And nothing came of it. (Maybe Seamus McFly noticed, but never mentioned it.)
I feel like changing the past would be difficult due to the infinite causality loop theory. It states that going back in time to prevent something gets rid of your reason for going back in time in the first place resulting in the event happening anyway. The only way to really change the past is to do so indirectly, and not by actually changing the events of the past. In other words, you seek not to prevent it from happening, but to stop it as it is occurring so as to allow the event to unfold, but to change the outcome rather than the event itself.
The 1955 dog's name is Copernicus, named after a famous mathematician astronomer who was one of the first to propose the earth orbited the sun, not the other way around.
You guys were interested in the timing of the Strickland line. It _is_ interesting because of the gag of Principal Strickland looking the same in '55 and '85, about which Marty says, "[d]idn't that man ever have hair?" So i think the idea is that long life runs in that line, so Principal Strickland was perhaps 67 in '85 and 37 in '55, i.e. born ~1918. For most of us, that'd make him the grandson of the kid in 1885. But if these Stricklands live longer and have kids later than most guys, and the kid was born in 1875, Principal Strickland would've been born the year the kid turned 43 and thus would be the kid's son. That's more common today than it was back then, but you still see it in genealogical records of that time. It wasn't particularly rare, just not the norm for most men.
A lot of men had children in their 40's and 50's back then, a lot of women died younger and men often remarried a girl in her early 20's. So Principal Strickland most likely was the kid's son.
@@toodlescae Indeed, my own paternal great- grandfather was born in 1873 and his four kids (at least those four i have a record of) were fathered when he was ages 37-43. The youngest of those was my grandfather, who was in fact born in 1917 and begat his 2 at ages 24 and 27 ... and my father had 2, the first of whom i have only an estimated year for but his ages were ~23 and then 30. If i go back one more generation, my 2X-great paternal-line grandfather was born around 1849 and had 6 kids at ages ranging from 24-39. To be fair to my point, though, the fifth was 7 years before the last, thus when he was about 32.
I remember when Michael J Fox was working in different shows at the same time. He didn’t abandon his original TV sitcom when he became a big star. He was the first star that I knew of who remained loyal. It was unheard of. I’m almost positive I gave him a ride from Venice to Santa Monica when he first came to Hollywood. A male acquaintance asked me quickly (as I was in the car about to drive north on the coast) to give his friend a lift. He was a little excited and said the guy was an actor just come from Canada - he might have said he was in TV in Canada so I sort of expected him to be talkative or passionate about acting, his hopes and dreams. He got in the car, almost autistic, quiet, introverted, I longed to ask him about acting because I love it, but there was no opportunity to talk privately and the drive was short. I always assumed people came to LA to get in the business and got rejections and got sidetracked by life because that’s what I had seen. It never entered my mind that this quiet introverted young man could already have a deal in the bag and would become a beloved star to 2024! I always remembered it, and suspected it was him, but it didn’t occur to me until last year watching all these BTTF reactions that it really could be Michael J Fox in my car that day. I googled the timeline and that year he came to LA with his Dad. I’m 99.99999 % sure it was him. You do bump into actors in LA now and then. I’ve seen a few!
The actress who played Jennifer, Elisabeth Shue, starred in a really fun 80's suspense movie, Adventures in Babysitting, that you might get a kick out of. Wow, no joke, I just now saw a trailer for Back to the Future 4!!
The message at the end of this movie is a very powerful message. And this is what makes the 3rd and last movie so great. Your future hasn't been written yet so make it a great one. Either you can try to make friends and be happy or insult each other on the internet and hate each other, for example (today, for example)
Fun Fact: In the 1800s there were no quality standards, some products labeled as whiskey or bourbon were actually distilled with a variety of low-grade ingredients and additives such as burnt sugar, glycerin & sulphuric acid.(Aka: Cheap liquor) "That's probably why Marty's whiskey smoked when it spilled over on the counter." 🥃☠️🤔
My theory is everything is just a dream, notice that Marty always sleeps and wake up every time, it's like dream within dreams. Either Marty never really wakes up or we don't know when he really wakes up. The story goes on between the dream and the real thing. Doc Brown never existed, there is no time machine. It is the only thing that explains all the plot holes and shenanigans. (Take a note that the Delorean in the mine is the same Delorean Marty use going back to 1885 and then back to 1985, it is impossible because if he did that the Delorean won't be in the mine, so there must be TWO Deloreans in 1885 when Marty arrives in 1885. Doc could just use spare parts from the future Delorean to repair the broken Delorean. If that the case, the whole thing is a paradox because the Delorean never be in the mine to begin with)
Doc didn't get electrocuted because he has long rubber gloves on, you can see them in the movie even when he is working on the line. Besides the lightning effect was for our eyes, you won't see that current inside the cable. "another reason he didn't get fried". now if he used the wrong gauge of wire we would see the wire's covering melt and the Doc would be in trouble of his gloves doing the same thing form the over heating\melt down of the cable. My neighbor had one of them moments, hooking up a 120 extension cord to a 220 camper with a adapter. People in the camper turned on to many things, and the cord melted in the yard real fast.
If you look back at the second movie you can see biff watching a Clint Eastwood movie when Marty asks him about the sports almanac whe you see it it shows what Marty does with the bulletproof vest type thing that he wears in this movie so cool
36:52 - "lunar geography" I'm going to nerd out here and say that it's actually called selenography. Mapping out the surface of anywhere other than Earth *cannot* by definition be called geography.
The producers asked Clint Eastwood for permission to use his name, and apparently, he was happy to oblige. Makes sense; he and his “namesake” (i.e. Marty) are portrayed in a heroic light, plus, y’know, free PR.
Also, check out the trilogy FAQ on both the "Back To The Future: The Complete Trilogy" DVD set and the "Back To the Future: The Complete Adventures" DVD set. The first has it on disk 3 with the third film, then the latter has it on the Bonus Disk (I). Answers a lot of questions, some of which I recall you guys asking. I can't speak for the 30th Anniversary Complete Adventures DVD set as I don't have it. "The Complete Adventures" also has all of the animated series that continues after the trilogy.
The actor you guys associated with the fox and the hound. He appeared in a show called Green Acres, and I think also at a show called petticoat Junction as the same character.
"The final BTTF movie, unless they do some kind of 4th one, or remake, or whatever". There will NEVER be a 4th movie, and hopefully they'll never make a remake because you can't improve perfection. Parts 2 and 3 came out less than a year apart because they were filmed in one go and split into two movies. Have you noticed that in the photo they take in 1885, the clock is at 8:04, the same time the thunder struck it in 1955? I learn new things every time I watch these movies!
Both Zemeckis and Gale have stated that as long as they’re both alive, they’ll never greenlight a BTTF sequel, reboot, remake or whatever. The closest we’ve had to that is the TellTale Game that came out in 2010, which was written by Bob Gale, and featured Christopher Lloyd as the voice of Doc, and a cameo by Michael J Fox, who voiced an older Marty. There were also IDW comics which filled in story gaps, like how Doc & Marty met, and what happens in history between the different time periods they travelled to in the movies. But otherwise, in terms of any on-screen material, Gale/Zemeckis prefer this trilogy to stand on its own.
The clock tower was struck at 10:04 PM. From the time they started the clock in 1885, to when the clock stopped in 1955 because of the lightning: 70 years, 2 months, 7 days, 2 hours and 4 minutes (the Mayor of Hill Valley started the clock at 8:00 PM on September 5th 1885)
"Outside theater or whatever, what's it called, drive, drive-in?" Hey Jane, I'm guessing you've never had the opportunity to experience one have you? This is why I love reactions on YT, as you get to see so many other peoples life experiences and points of view. I'm in Vegas, and I think we have one Drive-In left, but I know most have died off around the country. I'll assume it is just no longer a viable technology, especially with almost everyone having smart phones. But it was a big part of my childhood growing up in the 70's & 80's.
Hello guys, I just wanted to recommend you. The Last of Us Grounded documentary is about the creation of the video game without spurring the second game, it brings many very interesting details about the story and so that you can get to know the game without having to play 15 hours, recommended now that the season 2 is approaching 🥳
They fired Crispin Glover after the first movie. Thats why Fox plays his ancestors. Its supposed to be more funny than logical. Its funny where you guys miss the humor in this and take serious.
Also while a lightning bolt produces a ton of volts, it's more often the ampere's that are lethal. Doc was wearing rubber gloves, and may even have been wearing rubber boats, making him fairly grounded.
They do still promote movies through partnerships with restaurants. I just had a kids lasagna meal from Olive Garden that’s a part of Garfield movie promotion. The most common is still McDonald’s Happy Meal toys.
I'm guessing you didn't hear when Doc explained that the Mr. Fusion powered the time circuits and flux capacitor, but the engine was always powered by normal gasoline.
Even doc brown didnt trust e.v.s
Mistake by Doc. He could have converted the DeLorean such that the main drive also fed of MrFusion. Story purposes….
@@johankaewberg8162 Realistically yes, but similar to what you said, there wouldn't be a third movie otherwise. lol
To be fair it's not unusual for men to be attracted to women who look like Lea Thompson in her 20s...
@@AlexSwanson-rw7cv You beat me to it!
I am not sure how they missed that reference, it was in all 3 movies.
"You have to use your hands? That's a baby's toy!"

fun fact the 3 men at the table in the salloon were in many, many westerns way back in the day, well known also, and no, the bartender isnt willem dafoe
One of them voiced Sheriff Of Nottingham in Disney's Robin Hood.
That hanging scene was quite real. They really accidentally hung Michael J. Fox in that scene and he struggled for air.
Here is a fun fact: There were four DeLoreans present in Hill Valley in 1955:
1.) The DeLorean Marty takes from 1985 ("Back to the Future, Pt.
Everyone with basic time travel knowledge would know this

@@chrisofstars You're traveling forward through time right now.
I like that that Doc holding his drink good a good chuckle out of you lol. Is one of my favorite jokes in the film lol.
Doc Browns home is in Pasadena. My wife and I were married in the backyard. 😊
@@briantidwell651 What I said came from Bob Gale and Robert Zemekies themselves.
Exactly. That's what I thought about Clara, but now that you mention Doc, it makes even more sense.
Can’t believe I’m still laughing along to this movie with you guys after seeing it so many times! Good reacting along with you!
And remember, this is a reaction video, don't take it too seriously. 😊
Even though I'm sure I'll get some unpleasant comments about it,
I wanted to share my story with you in the hope that you will find support in it and maybe even help you. I hope it so much. Have a peaceful day day, both of you. And please go on with your channel. Tschüss, ihr Lieben
I have also made the same observations of Jane. Very nice advice, and hopefully, some of it may be of use to her
@@eliezerreyes3147 oh, thank you..very kind. And i hope she's gonna notice my comment..
Fun Fact: the three musicians playing at the town party are the rock group 'ZZ Top".
And the trusted a director who,s name begins with"Z".
Apparently you missed the Newspaper in the first movie stating the Brown Mansion was burned down
I always thought it was a missed opportunity that, in 1885, Doc and Marty didn't have their picture taken with the clock at 10:04.
Did you know the date you published this video is on the exact 34th anniversary of part 3 when it came out in theaters. Also it was the creators birthday BOB Gale, the person who invented the story of Back To The Future. You published this on his exact birthday to youtube.
Back to the Future Part III (1990) was released 34 years ago TODAY. May 25th, 1990. Posting this video TODAY was an omen. IT WAS "DENSITY."
Yes. Jane. It is called a drive-in theater
'She's done time-travel stuff before, right?..' 😊
A lot of you guys have missed it. But Doc mentions wearing shock proof gloves for the wire work to connect with the time machine from the clock tower
Michael J Fox wasn't filming 3 movies at the same time. He was filming the 2nd and 3rd Back to The Future movies and the tv show " Family Ties".
In back to the future II biff was watching a Clint Eastwood movie where he wears a stove plate to block a bullet just like Marty did in this one. It was when he was in the hot tub in the alternate 1985
I am glad you watched this series. It’s been one of my absolute favorites growing up!😊
19:35 Fox was actually hung here by accident. He believes that contributed to his current Parkinson's disease.
A lot of first time watchers of this series recently

@@gethrielyeah. Noticed this with devil’s advocate and the departed
You're incapable of enjoying a movie. "Stunt guy" this, "practical effects" that. JFC.
Doc and Clara are one of my favorite movie couples. 💜
Not the first time doc and Clara played in a movie they both played in Going South with Jack Nicholson in 1978
If you'll recall in the beginning of the film, Doc left them notes to repair the car to 1955 specs and current hardware, hence the need for gas and no fusion fuel tank.
As for the insane McFly family geneology, you're thinking about it too hard xD.
McDonald's still does that sort of thing, though you really onlt see it in the happy meal promitions. right now they've got toys for the new Captain America movie, which I don't even think comes out for a year.
The guy with the unique voice is Pat Buttram. He's done a quite a few voice acting jobs one of my favorite being Aristocats
Maggie McFly wasn't related to the Baines family (Marty's mom's family) she just coincidently looked like Lorraine.
They also did the voices of the cartoon bullets in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Also the one guy on the right side was Mr Hainey of the show Green Acres.
The accident Doc mentioned was the one with the Rolls Royce , which was also mentioned in BTTF2 by Grandma Lorraine and Marlene McFly. This was avoided by the end of BTTF3 by Marty making a better judgement.
Jane gets worked up over this movie and the suspense/stress? How does she handle actually stressful stuff?
I’m assuming JV deals with it.
You two can React to the movie without questioning EVERYTHING.
just hitting me how it makes no sense that marty's great grandmother looks like his mother and great grandfather looks like marty
Correct. And also why Marty is surprised when he finds Doc's mansion in 1955, he takes a quick look at the garage, which is still there in 1985 (with a Burger King next to it)
Docs rubber gloves saved him from being electricuted
All the actors, the 😮😮directors and Steven Spieberg are my favorite , in my heart as always😂😊😊😊😊
"Whoop, minature model."
Nope. Full sized steam train. Just like in The Bridge on the River Kwai.

0:36 The Matrix 2 and The Matrix 3 both came out in 2003, less than 6 months apart.
Lord of the rings were all filmed back to back
The band at the festival was the real country rock band ZZ Top, who were pretty popular at the time.
You guys were interested in the timing of the Strickland line. It _is_ interesting because of the gag of Principal Strickland looking the same in '55 and '85, about which Marty says, "[d]idn't that man ever have hair?"
So i think the idea is that long life runs in that line, so Principal Strickland was perhaps 67 in '85 and 37 in '55, i.e.
One of my mom's great-grandfathers had 21 children by 3 wives. The last child was born when he was in his 60's. He lived to be 105.

I’ve seen a few!
you hugging and saying “we will, doc, we will!” at the end made my face go - ☺️😊🥰☺️
The actress who played Jennifer, Elisabeth Shue, starred in a really fun 80's suspense movie, Adventures in Babysitting, that you might get a kick out of.
If that the case, the whole thing is a paradox because the Delorean never be in the mine to begin with)
34 years ago today, Back To The Future Part III (May 25,1990) was released!🎥
He was filming "Growing Pains" and filming the 1st movie at the same time
Doc didn't get electrocuted because he has long rubber gloves on, you can see them in the movie even when he is working on the line.
I love this movie!!!!!!🍿 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bird shot 👍🏼❤️
Marty) are portrayed in a heroic light, plus, y’know, free PR.
there was nothing like the anniversary for these movies. all 3 in the theaters back to back with filler in between. amazing.
Check out the movie The Goonies(1985).
View the 1984 Ghostbusters and Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
From the time they started the clock in 1885, to when the clock stopped in 1955 because of the lightning:
70 years, 2 months, 7 days, 2 hours and 4 minutes (the Mayor of Hill Valley started the clock at 8:00 PM on September 5th 1885)
@@ReelMeurik You're completely right, I only took a glance at the minutes hand and forgot all about the hours! 😲
A perfect end to a great trilogy. Great reaction! 👍🏿
This thing went off the rails when Justin sang bustin makes me feel good. 😂😂😂 Everything after that😂😂😂😂
Hello guys, I just wanted to recommend you.
Doc was wearing rubber gloves at the start. The electricity didn't hit him, just the gloves. He would be fine.
Also while a lightning bolt produces a ton of volts, it's more often the ampere's that are lethal. Doc was wearing rubber gloves, and may even have been wearing rubber boats, making him fairly grounded.
That extended rear of Clara's dress is called a "Bustle".
JV. Clara Clayton is played by Mary Steenburgen
32:53 That song is Turkey in the Straw.
If you want to see a really great action movie about a stuntman, we just saw The Fall Guy. Whoa!
That Colt if it was taken care of would be worth thousands today.
There,sZZTOP playing"doubleback".
They do still promote movies through partnerships with restaurants. I just had a kids lasagna meal from Olive Garden that’s a part of Garfield movie promotion. The most common is still McDonald’s Happy Meal toys.
when marty stops after being dragged, u can see the mat michael is on if u look closely
