+Georgie Barrett I honestly loved it - one of my favourite retail jobs! Amazing company, doing new, inventive things and trying to make change! I was looked after really well there and although it's hard to be happy/chatty all the time to customers, it was lovely working there! x
When you explained the thing with the candy and cigarettes I felt so old 😂 In germany we had proper candy cigarettes made out of chocolate or bubble gum wrapped with cigarette paper and all that 😂 Would be a total no-go nowadays :D

We had candy cigarettes here in the US when I was little! I loved them and would walk around holding them like real cigarettes! Looking back now that is absolutely horrifying lol!

Ive used the over and over bath bomb and it's amazing. My skin was so soft when I got out the bath. It's something I'll definitely be re-purchasing it ☺

They all sound amazing!! I wish we had a lush store closer to where I lived! :P Have you used essential oils before? For Christmas my younger sister got me a little bottle of Bergamot essential oil and my goodness it smells like a cup of tea is sitting right in front of you!

My favourite one that I recently came across is buttermilk- holy crap it's the best thing that ever happened to my skin, for someone with super sensitive skin it didn't react at all it was so good because usually I get super itchy with eczema after having a bath because of the heat but I didn't at all this time!
I also love the bath bomb that's completely orange and smells like Fanta (it looks like comforter but it's orange and I can't remember the name of it.. someone tell me if you know?) and I love these hauls so I can take note on what's out so I can plan to get some🙊

Aaagh it's like I can smell everything without having any lush products around me. And wish I wasn't the poor student I am so I could afford a bath bomb or anything lol. Even though I feel like the bath bombs are a bit overrated, and I think their face/body/hair products are as amazing and do more than just a bath bomb.
Don't mean in it a bad way tho, I love their bath bombs as well! But I think you can get more use out of other products. :)

Haha omg I remember that when I was little (also 90s) they used to sell little packs of chewing gum that looked exactly like cigarettes and they were even wrapped in paper like it!! Plus I don't remember anyone ever being against us having those.. today's parents would freak!
This is such a random question but since you said you were doing Delilahs clothing haul, what do you do with the clothes she outgrows? Do you sell them or donate them. I have a little girl just a bit younger than Delilah and I can't get rid of 90% she has outgrown I'm to nostalgic about everything! 😂😒💜

I wonder if you might think about the impact on the environment of trying to have more baths to meet your inability to stop buying bath products you don't need? I only wonder because Doug seems like such an outdoor type of person who I would have thought would be into stuff like conserving resources.

The shower will only save water if you are taking a shower that is less than 10 minutes. If I'm being honest with myself unless I rush my shower, I take a bit longer than that. I'm sure many would agree they are not consistently under 10 minutes. What you just did here ^ does not advocate for the environment very well, but I implore you to keep trying. Anyone who reads this - showers are more efficient but depending on your shower time, a bath might be more efficient depending on what you are doing. If you tend to take a 30 minute long shower, perhaps you should consider taking a bath. If your bath is small like mine, you have the choice to do a shower or bath because you are not retaining as much water with the bath as you would with a more modern large tub. Do I think we should be conscious of how much water we are using, sure! Take into consideration all of the aspects of your life and try and make small changes here and there. We aren't going to cold turkey everything in a day but small steps to consistent sustainable living does help the world we live. Just food for thought.
