My wife and I recently took a train out to the White Cliffs of Dover and walked from Dover up to a small town called Deal. It was one of the first truly beautiful days here in the UK that has come this summer. The wind was perfect, the sun wasn't too hot, and the water was beautiful. It was a stunning walk.
I wrote this song, "Find the Sea", thinking about that day and how I need to try and hold on to every single moment I get to share with her. Not only that but, being away from family and friends over the last year has made me think about how important it is to appreciate the moments you get with people you love because, while it might seem like it will last forever, it won't. I think that’s what makes those moments so meaningful.
They won't last forever, so be sure to hold on tight while you can.
