    I didn't pay much attention to how light would affect on the longevity of the flowers; I only considered maintaining a low temperature. Great advice! Thank you 💚

    Part 2 please!
    I live in Georgia. Our spring/ summer are super hot here! I converted my living room to my workspace which is usually cooler all year round. I’m struggling with if I need a cooler or not

    Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I am currently in the process of opening my own shop and have been battling the whole cooler situation for weeks!!! You have saved me thousands of dollars I cannot thank you enough.

    Thank you for the info. I put mine in our guest room, which is the coolest and darkest room in the summer. I recently discovered that putting my product in the guest closet with door closed worked better. Closed the vent off to the room so no heat in room (when It was cold). We live in north Texas and we are having above average temps already in February and March. 😕

    Thank you sooooooo much for your honesty & experience! I'm scattered all over the place atm , in which the whole floral cooler crosses my mind *if* I need it asap. I was storing flowers in an ac bedroom, north facing darker room. I might just keep on because im a one man team.

    Thank you for your video! I'm currently an amateur but doing my 3rd wedding soon. I live in PA and have a large, cooler basement with few windows. I was thinking of making it my workspace, but you've convinced me it will work well.

      That sounds like a great plan for your workspace! I'm glad the video was helpful and gave you the confidence to use your basement effectively. Your third wedding project sounds exciting! Wishing you all the best as you continue to grow your skills and create beautiful arrangements. 🌸

    Texas , here ✋🏼and far away wholesalers ✋🏼 had no choice but to invest in a walking in coolbot in my garage, I’m still trying to understand where to place the flowers though… floor, shelves, etc 😅 Thank you for those perfect tips ❤

      One thing we did was grab a few thermometers and place them in different areas on the shelves. Then you can see which are the naturally 'warmer' zones and which bits are colder. It definitely takes some figuring out but sounds like you've got it covered 😇

    Thanks from Fl.
    I am amateur, but do multiple arrangements for church and gifts. I have been using dark AC bedrooms . I didn't know a pro 😂would, too!
    Thanks for teaching us the light is as important as cool. Also, to be careful with tropical flowers ( which we surprisingly you little of in S Fl arrangements).

    Hello, I have just watched your video and I was wondering how long you would ideally leave arrangements in a cooler/ domestic cooler

  • @OneStopDiva

    This video is bomb. Thank you so much. My concern is greenery and filler flowers. Don't they need a cool environment?

    • @LittleBirdBloom
      @LittleBirdBloom  2 місяці тому

      I've found fresh-cut greenery does really well as long as it's stored in a darker space. I'd probably say the same the same with filler flowers but they do tend to last a bit longer if stored in a cooler environment. But if you've gotta system that works for you, keep doing what you're doing 🌸 🌿

    Part 2 please about how long can flower last in cooler?

    • @LittleBirdBloom
      @LittleBirdBloom  2 місяці тому +1

      This is totally a 'it depends' answer, which is kinda unhelpful. 🤪 But as a guide, I'd say a cooler (if it's 100% dark inside) can help extend the shelf life of flowers anywhere from 2-7 days, maybe even more.

    Thank you so much for these amazing tips ❤ and I’m wondering if artificial light has the same effect as natural light in decreasing the shelf life of flowers ?

    • @LittleBirdBloom
      @LittleBirdBloom  2 місяці тому

      It's definitely worth keeping an eye on! You're probably right with your hypothesis and I definitely tend to air on the side of being overly cautious 😇

  • @sarabeescutflowersmore795

    Lol, when you stored your arrangements in the long, dark hallway-- did you never turn on lights? Does that matter?

    • @LittleBirdBloom
      @LittleBirdBloom  4 місяці тому

      I will always try to keep the lights off as much as possible but you can definitely flick the lights on if you need to see where you're going and then flick 'em off when you're done in the space 🥰
