The journey from Breath of the Wild to Tears of the Kingdom is similar in some ways to the journey from dating to marriage.
- One is about discovery and adventure, the other is about retreading old ground in new and exciting ways.
- You may never recreate the magical feeling of experiencing a new world for the first time, but you can give it new depth and heights.
- You gave yourself time to try new things, but now it's all about seeing what you can build and how you can make things work.
- The things that used to annoy you aren't gone entirely, but an effort has been made to make things better.
- The story has improved as characters have developed and relationships have matured.
- You'll uncover deep, dark regions that you had no idea were there, which can seem scary at first, but you can work through them and even bring light to them if you work at it. Some of the best rewards are down there, too.
- You'll find new ways to keep things fresh and interesting. Some of those ways will be super weird.

@@juanp7691He's not wrong though. Anyone playing ToTK for long enough will end up in that scenario. For every absolutely sick save there's 10 fails where your newly built wing glider just ends up drifting sadly into the distance, or slams into the side of a mountain.

Watching my kids, one of whom is a teenager now, play this game has been one of the highlights of my life. The way they solve puzzles and engage in combat is so entertaining, sometimes it’s more fun than playing the game for myself.

I do this with all the story heavy rpg games……… I oddly find watching gameplay a lot more immersive than playing one, fighting bosses and doing game mechanics distracts the fun from enjoying the story so much.

Handy tip for your boyfriend in the Depths. Instead of using a headlight on the front of a vehicle, which drains the battery, just throw a brightbloom seed on the front of it. No battery drain, and it'll light up a bigger area.

I've just found this channel but my goodness, the editing is perfect. So many other videos on UA-cam go overboard with the "insert meme here" but you use it so sparingly each one is a delightful treat and not something that wants me to put a bullet in my head

There is an acceleration button if you're using the big chonky wheels and a steer stick. It's forward. Press forward on the stick and you'll accelerate in that direction.

The abilities in this game work so well together and with the environment. Nintendo really just invents revolutionary gameplay mechanics like they're nothing
Well, in their defense they are the last game studio that doesn't reskin their previous game and adds graphics.
Nintendo reskinned breath of the wild, changed pretty much everything besides combat mechanics and the time sync that is koroks
they should invent the revolutionary gameplay mechanic of Full HD at 60 fps

Pro tip: if you're using either the small OR big tires, you can press the control stick forward to accelerate. So in essence, there IS an acceleration button (aka gas pedal).
Just wanted to share cuz it was mentioned in this video and in case someone else didn’t know, but the shake-to-separate mechanic works specifically on the object you are targeting when you start ultrahand. Shaking breaks any connections to that specific component. You don’t have to completely break apart your creations when you make a goof! :^)

I remember that *one time* I wasn't careful about which subpart I'm actually targeting before shaking, causing the main part to detach and the whole thing falling apart, instead of just detaching the part I wanted... that was quite the learning experience :D

My husband (who's a much more avid gamer than I) played this game and beat it in about 70 hours, and has now moved onto other things. Meanwhile I'm at 150+ hours just trying to soak everything in and only beat 2 dungeons :')

You know what would be nice, a workshop similar to steam to see other people vehicle creation. Pretty cool to test them out and maybe even make them better.
