Some are saying this airplane has "oversized" engines. Consider the loss of one engine during take-off (already climbing) with full payload. You just lost 50% of your power. When that happens, you will thank for oversized engines. Plus, oversized engines mean you normally use less power during cruise and are more economic. This airplane is actually nicknamed "profit hunter".

Exactly, it passes so much more confidence. There is nothing better than having powerful engines, no matter the kind of vehicle. It means that even its braking power is more efficient when using reverse thrust

Pode até ser, mas é um avião brasileiro, pois a Embraer é uma empresa brasileira assim como os engenheiro que o projetaram são do Brasil. É o mesmo que insinuar que a coca cola é portuguesa, por ser também feita em Portugal. A Embraer utiliza Portugal por ser um ponto avançado para comercializar os seus aviões na Europa. O mesmo ocorre com os aviões militares brasileiros, o Super Tucano e o KC 390.

If they have the take-off clearance before reaching the holding point, no need to stop. They can do a roling take-off.
