You could order rice fish eggs :) they arent expensive and can be shipped easily. I had always around a 95% hatch rate and around the same survival rate of the little ones. 1-2€ per egg may seem much but you get 30 ricefish for around 35€ which is really little and you can get amazing colour morphs.
Md quick random question iv got a fairly big amazon sword can you split it and replant it if so is it the same as ud do with stem plants cheers in advance

Anyone know if the mister can harm the fish? I've got one just like his and when they go really near it the seem to get "shocked" or startled as if they're being hurt so I took it out instantly. Anyone know why?
@@deadfred821 I honestly think it's not due to electricity issues, as you said what seems to matter is how close they are to it. However, I'll check it to see if that's the problem. What i think is happening is that the mister uses ultrasound to vibrate water molecules and "shoot" some out of the water as a gas. This may cause some sort of effect on living things as I also had the same experience one time when I put the finger in the squirt given out by the mister. Thank you for your answer. I think I'll just throw the mister away in case it may be dangerous.

Try Norman's lampeyes great peaceful schooling fish. They are killie fish but look close enough to rice fish and I like the alot more and are around the same size and their eyes are amazing
How do you combat mold growing on the top of the aquarium? I just started a shallow tank and am getting some mold growing on top of the soil on the plants.

It looks great. I also escaped a shallow tank but salmaller Saturday night. I have one of those small filters for a 63L tank and it works great. Just replace 2 out of the 3 sponges for Seachem Matrix or ceramic rings.
A couple of the pond plants might be Lysimachia nummularia (which can be invasive if left to own devices) and Acorus calamus variegatus (which might get a little big for this mini pond)
Would you be able to do a break down video of your equipment, as I’m new the aquascaping and I’ve seen a lot of video on where you need high grade equipment.... watching your videos has inspired me to get in the hobby a lot more now :)
Md i was just wondering what you water change routine is for when you just setup a new tank? Im in the process of doing my first planted tank & its gonna be low tech. no CO2 or anything like that, just a 40 gallon breeder with two of your flood lights over it and a filter. I wanna make sure i get the water changes on point so that i get off to as good of a start as possible. Any tips or advice is welcome. Thanks mate and i love the video as always
Absolutely love your channel, one tip I picked up years ago for attaching moss or pelia or anything like that to rocks, buy a load of cheap disposable hair nets, saves loads of time and fiddling around with thread!
How do you keep the moss from overtaking the tank. My moss grows like mad and then I trim it but it gets everywhere and now I have little bits of moss growing tangled up in all my other plants.
MD if I broke into your house to steal you would have your mobile devices , laptop and wallet the only think gone would be the driftwood you are got outside and stones you've got.

Do not fill the tank to the brim while making sure they have adequate water parameters and there would be no real reason to jump out

Weed fabric = no root growth... I would just use filter wool instead for wrapping.
How do you keep your aquarium water from getting cloudy when you don’t wash your sand?
