For anyone that hasn't got a Rivet gun i just used slightly larger small screws that worked just as good 👍

WHAT!?!?, I have done this on two different Sea Doo Ski's, and you DO NOT drill out the rivets!! There are clips at the other end, that lets the whole piece come right out. I almost listened to you the first time I did this on my 2006 Sea Doo Gti Se, but was smart enough to check it out before I started drilling!!!

And before anybody asks, they are all the same!! The other one was a 2004 Sea Doo GTX wake board edition, was the same.. he is right on having to remove all the piping to access the fuel tank!!

I just did this to my 2004 rxp. No need to drill them out. Everything can pull from the top of the pump.

Had to drill mine as only the pump came out, filter stays behind down in the bottom. Only took 10 minutes to do so no big deal.

Thanks for the video, I'm just having a problem getting the base off of the assembly in order to get to the inside smaller filter. After I drilled out the rivets how do i remove that base. It seems stuck, what tools did you use to remove it? Anything helps, thanks

I used a body hammer.. But really just tap one side. Then flip it over and tap the other side. Over and over. It will come off slowly

How did you know your filter need replaced? How was your ski acting? I think mine needs a new filter. It will not accelerate past 27 mph.

adriano stavole they get worn. I was just doing general maintenance to mine. It was not running properly. So new plugs and filters and it runs like new now.
