The pic of female V and what they did to her since this initially presented appearance hurts much more. Regarding Jackie tho, I knew he is a dead man anyway. Probably from trailer, or probably because the games kill main character's best friend "to create drama" way too often so this was too obvious and doesn't work on me.
I felt fine with Jacek's story arc, it gave you a likeable character to introduce the game and help guild you through the opening steps. I also believe his death gave a weight to the story, showing that this isnt an place where you and your friends can go on crazy adventures without consequences, that no one is immortal. However, I feel the biggest failing with Jackie was spoiling his story in a fucking trailer. When I first watched it, I assumed the main character and his muscle bound friend where simply two npc gangers showing you what Night City was like, similar to the two npc gangers who robbed the convince store for the Brain Dance tutorial.

Got this on release on PS4 yes it was buggy but still loved it. Got it again on series S with the updates. Might be my fav game of all time. Masterpiece!! And that's putting it down

Not to mention, at least on PC, the amount of bugs is small, sure meet several of them, but these were only small glitches - disappearing pants texture, random mirror baldness etc., while I didn't encounter crashes or bugs makes me unable to finish quests.

Not really. V's story is about learning about the world, making the most of your life, and not being afraid of dying. Failing to learn those lessons is what makes it anywhere POSSIBLY tragic, imo. The Devil? It sucks because you asked Arasaka to save your life, but they only "extended your warranty," even with the other guy who's supposed to be your buddy in that shitshow. Temperance sucks because you basically ALT + F4 at the expense of Panam and her family, all so Johnny can gtfo? Metacontextual suicide isn't a way to go in her eyes, and she'll DEFINITELY tell Johnny off in the credits. Tl;dr? Most people see _[Don't Fear] The Reaper_ as the most optimal choice for wrapping up a playthrough, storywise, given the unrivaled feeling of singlehandedly going guns-blazing through Arasaka HQ to basically immortalizing yourself as Cyberspace code while Johnny gets the perks of not having that bomb lit in the throat anymore for either of you.
Sure it still has a long road to walk till it’s all fixed and pristine. But this game is fun and has a gripping story. This game makes you feels things in an artificial world. That’s good enough for me.
Bought the game on GoG to support CDPR, too bad my laptop can't handle it. (~14 fps is all I got) (ಥ﹏ಥ) Still, music in CP2077 is absolutely breathtaking.

I'm a bit irritated by the character creation system cause I was trying to make it look 1 to 1 with the girl character here until I found out that the haircut doesn't have the same shaved look here and the cyberware isn't the same as the one here in the image. It's a nitpick but I just loved the design of the custom character here.

One been, it was never fully implemented, character creation in the demo looked amazing but in reality it was never actually in the game, just purely for show. Hopefully in the next 6-12months of them patching the game, they will bring those content.
