Great snare roll on Murders, but he plays 8ths on the hihat when the verse comes in!:) also not sure about Gangland...;) Prisoner also not exact. Sorry, I’m a Clive snob. thanks for the tribute though, Clive is amazing.
Clive burr was better drummer than nicko, clive was more powerful, precise, and more technical, his time was excellent. When listening to live concerts you can appreciate its forcefulness. Nicko what he did was follow the style of clive.Nicko was good drummer, but his arrival took power to the band. In studio and live. If Clive had continued in iron maiden certainly today would be a more powerful band. R.I.P
Nicko is a joke compared to Clive. The drumming on Clive's songs was pathetic. Nicko can't pull off any of Clive's songs. The first 3 albums with Clive are vastly superior to anything since.
Listen the first concerts in 1983, Nicko is fast as Clive. After that, Maiden slow down until 1988. Clive had a better feeling and I prefer his style, but You can't say that Nicko was bad (he was super good). Nicko was better on techniques. Two drummers for two styles. Listen killers version 1999, Nicko plays like Clive (with more techniques)
Bullshit mate! Clive Burr's "Buddy Rich''s rolls were extraordinary that Nicko can't come close. Those rolls are hard! Not buzz rolls, takes lot of experience!
Clive, we will never forget you!!
Clive Rules!!!! My favorite Maiden drummer. So much jazzy swing in there. Gene Kupra style.
This is awesome Tim. Love Maiden and Clive was the best. You do a fantastic job highlighting his riffs
Thanks! One of my absolute favourite deummers of all time.
Your drums sound amazing !!! Great technique and articulation!’
very nice tribute . also loved clive's fills in wrathchild
So intelligent, original and conscise. You would make a good teacher.
Just watched this and gave you your 1,000th sub!!! Yay for both of us!!!
unbelievable how you can keep all these drum parts in your memory

Yes. I wonder what caused Iron Maiden to replace him :(
lol. Nicko is more technical than Clive. And Nicko never follows Clive's style. Mc/brain got his own.

Nicko is a joke? Different styles but McBrain is a great drummer you moron.

Very nice work mate ..Are you a studio drummer..?
Clive was incredible.. superior to Nicko. He could never play the clive parts well ..very sloppy
That may be but when nicko joined maiden, steve told him to put his own swing on it
Good job. You messed up the Prisoner though.
gooooooddddddddddddddddddd
you play Gangland the way like you've never hear it
